01. Hair: I usually like to use vanilla hair, but I'm obsessed with the hairs by @rustys-cc. I have to control myself to not use them on every single Sim! They just look good on everyone!
02. Skinblend: Not to toot my own horn, but I'm still using my own skinblend, especially after @missrubybird released their default version of my other favorite skin, Pufferfish. It's so beautiful, and I love how both pair together!
03. Moles: If I don't control myself, every single sim will have face moles lol. I love them and I think they add personality to my sims. My all-time favorite is this amazing pack by @vegantrait. You can create your own combinations or have only a single mole!
04. Face Details: I'm a huge believer in face details, lol. I think that's why I don't have many skinblends in my folder. I like the flexibility to choose and create unique Sims every time. My current favorite one is the Face Detail 02 by @miikocc.
05. Face Definition: It has to be the one by @nesurii. I literally use this ALL THE TIME. It totally changed the way I make my Sims! I'm totally addicted to it. That's it.
06. Face Shine: @frenchiesimgirl has the best ones! I love to use this one on my more glamorous Sims to enhance the expensive skincare they might be using. 💅💅
07. Eyebrows: I don't have one eyebrow specifically, but I have ALL eyebrows by @goppolsme. Ever since I started using them, I deleted all my other brows. It's honestly true love. I love how they look so much!
08. Eyeshadow: I never believed someone could overcome the Neutrals Palette supremacy, but of course, @crypticsim came and beat his own game with the Channel Surfing Collection. I use both Selfish and Default all the time
09. Eyes & Catchlight: Once again, @missrubybird holds the supremacy in my default folders, and I use their Aqua Trigger Eyes nonstop for almost three years now! I love them so much that I also use the Non-Default versions! I always pair it with @pyxiidis In Out Talons Catchlight!
10. Eyelashes: Kijiko 3D Eyelashes - but I'm obsessed with the Historian Recolor by @anxiousmoodlet. I definitely use it more than the original!
11. Lips: I have a few favorite lips, but the newest one is the Suga Lips by @xurbansimsx. I love all of her lips - I recommend them all!
Extra: Nails! I cannot express the emotional attachment I have with these nails by @xurbansimsx. They look so good and so natural. I'm in love with them! I totally wish she releases more colors... maybe something to match Lamatise's Bare Skintones... *wink* *wink*

4t2 38 Faaeish Eyebrows
Hiya! This is my first time actually uploading something outside of a Discord server and a successful attempt on actually converting slider adjustable brows (that doesn't have an end of an eyebrow that rejects the thickness slider).
When I saw first saw this eyebrow blog post, "Maxis Match Eyebrows (Male + Female): Sims 4 CC (List)" (go check 'em out), I immediately fell in love, and had to (and, I mean HAD TO) all of Faaeish's existing eyebrows since a lot of them are very unique and beautiful (I hope y'all think so too).
At the moment, the recolouring system I used is Skittles' Hair System. Now in Poppet V2! I'll certainly try my best to upload more eyebrows in different hair systems and I'm planning to upload more eyebrows. I'll also be receiving requests on Simblr and here :3 So, if y'all have a brow in mind, just hit me up. I'll try to convert them as fast as possible.
All brows has been binned and tooltipped. Two options: merged and unmerged. Hasn't been compressed yet.

My Base Game Save File is complete!!! Download it here!

OLD VERSION:
My goal with this save was to make the base game feel super ALIVE and full of personality - basically what we all wanted the base game to be originally. This save is full of lore: each household has a story (some inspired by iconic Sims lore, others original), each Sim has relationships outside their home, each world has a description and each neighborhood within each world is built with a very specific vibe that draws particular Sims to live there, all community lots (and some residential lots) have descriptions, and even the graves (and ghosts) at the Willow Creek church graveyard tell a story. There are TONS of community lots in this save that all feel different from one another and are designed with different kinds of Sims (personalities, career types, ages, etc.) in mind to give everyone multiple things to do outside the house.
All lots were built using only the base game (disclaimer: occasionally my game adds pack-specific items, like a kind of food, during playtesting, so it might say there is a pack-specific item on a lot but it's not meant to be there!), but many lots were built with other packs in mind. For example, the save has restaurants, a boba shop/thrift story, a cafe/retail space, a community garden, a high school, and so on that are base game only. So, if you only have the base game or limited packs, it should feel like you have more to do than the base game provides and open up your gameplay with a little imagination.
If you do have more packs, the lots should easily convert to their intended lot type to allow more functionality. You should also find things that come in other packs available in the save. For example, many Sims have university degrees, all Sims have cold/hot weather clothes, there are loads of clubs for Sims to be in (each with a description - MORE LORE hah!), and the calendar is filled with holidays/events.
Here's a little tour of the Save:
WILLOW CREEK:
Most families in Willow Creek have lived here for generations. These families strongly value their roots and create such a strong sense of Willow Creek identity that the transplant families have taken on this identity as well, leaving the town full of people who proudly work to preserve and celebrate the town’s vibrant history and traditions. Families in Willow Creek tend to have a more traditional approach to family life/dynamics and care about the family’s image/status within Willow Creek.
OASIS SPRINGS:
Oasis Springs had its heyday several decades ago when its space exploration industry was booming, but when the industry fizzled out, the town lost a lot of business, wealth, and residents. However, those that remain take pride in their retro desert town and clearly see what remains: a beautiful, unique, special place to call home. Families in Oasis Springs tend to be a bit quirkier, care little about what other people think about them, and focus more everyday happiness than career success.
NEWCREST:
Newcrest is a very family-friendly neighborhood filled with fun for all ages. Families here tend to be a bit more laidback – they are willing to go with the flow and enjoy the messiness that comes with growing up. The Newcrest residents are a supportive bunch of people who enjoy each other’s company and have a healthy balance between careers/school, hobbies, and spending time with family and friends.
I will also be releasing a Limited Packs Save with version one containing updates to Copperdale and Strangerville coming soon, as well as a No Limits Save down the line.

My name is Anastasia and I love playing The Sims. I love developing my dynasty, watching the generations change and displaying it all in a family tree.
When the news broke that PlumTreeApp, the site where simmers create dynasty trees, was shutting down, the event was a big upset for me. How do you store your characters' history now? Where do I transfer my tree to? Many questions popped into my head, and there were so few answers …
After a bit of thinking, I decided to develop my own service for creating family trees from The Sims ❤️
Next, everything spun. Idea, design development, drafting of technical specifications, search for programmers. And now we are already actively working on the creation of the site and I want to share the process of its development with you ❤️
It is important for me to create the most convenient, beautiful and unique service for users.
Our website is now open for registration, but development of the core functionality is still underway

@stellarfalls - i think if you ask anyone right now, bree is definitely going to be on the list of inspiration. utilizing sims 4 in a way that many people probably haven't before, and it's beautiful. everyone time i see a post from them my breath gets taken away okay.

@afrolatinotrait - there was a poll going around awhile back that was smth like "have you ever found a sim attractive" yes. all of your sims are so ridiculously beautiful.

I love walking sims that make you think, and no nothing about Nevermind. Please tell me more, (if you're willing)
OKAY SO
Nevermind is a walking sim where you play as a Neuro Scientist (I think they actually call you a Neuro Prober) that goes through the brains of 4 trauma patients (+ an IntroSim). It's actually designed to have biofeedback so it can register your heart rate and change based on how scared it thinks you are, but you don't need that to play/get the whole experience.
The basic run down is you go through these patients memories to help them remember the cause/root of their trauma and help them find peace with what happened. To do this you go through their mind and collect memories in the form of pictures. There's ten pictures for each patient, half of them are real and half are the equivalent of trauma blocking/false memories. In order to help the patients you have to put the real memories in order of events that lead to the traumatic event you're helping them remember. (After you finish a patient you can go through it again to find little hidden memories. They aren't important over all but they're still neat and will just give the patient some extra personality)
You never actually see these people, but they'll give you a little summary that's always kind of like "This is how my past was. I don't think you'll really help, but it's worth a shot right?" They're also all pretty unique. The first is a woman who witnessed her father's death, the second a war veteran, the third is an older woman, and the last is a trans woman. All with completely different traumas.
This game is also incredibly beautiful. The visuals and scenery are all amazing, and the mind-scapes are so creative and fit their respective patients so well.
HOWEVER (and this is important) I ALSO CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT THIS GAME REQUIRES A HUGE TRIGGER WARNING. It does mention it at the start of the game with a big ass warning (that I will drop below), but I figure I would mention this because it's kind of really important for deciding if you want to watch/play it.
Because this game deals with various traumas that it visualizes in various ways, it won't be for everyone.
Nevermind contains various depictions of death (both human and one instance of animal death), suicide, PTSD/CPTSD, alzheimer disease, abuse, derealization/dissociation, blood, drug abuse, transphobia, and loud noises. A lot of which are graphic and will be disturbing to people and I understand is not for everyone. (There's one in particular, a War Vet, that's really fucking intense with gore specifically)
I will also stress it doesn't glorify these things, either. The entire point is to show how various types of trauma affect people and how it really screws with the brain.
I, personally, believe the game handles all the topics very well. But, y'know, if you're sensitive to any of that stuff you might not wanna play it. There's a lot of videos of the IntroSim,however, and DS Playthroughs has a playlist of all the Sims with No Commentary if you just wanna watch a playthrough. (Literally the only full walkthrough I can find of this game)
All in all, I think it's my favourite walking sim game and I highly recommend at least taking a look at the playthrough if you're interested in it.

Your showtime performances how wow-ed the crowd! All that juggling and lion taming really showed this week. This week everyone really impressed me! We really are a bunch of clowns, with talent <3
Onto the results! This week I was looking for unique ideas, that you would see if you'd visit any sort of circus!

Well, at the circus we have clowns, acrobats, lion tamers, sword swallowers, the ringmaster, and all sorts of other things… but one of the less common sideshows was one of Charlie’s absolute favorites. It’s full of adrenaline and a one-of-a-kind fear of death - the daredevil. It was a rush of fear; a person mounted upon the back of a death trap, hurtling around a circular wall, only held aloft by centrifugal force and a lot of control over the machine beneath them. Was it a lack of fear that drove them forward, or a fear of standing still? Of being motionless, of boredom? Whatever it was… it was fascinating and terrifying to behold.

When I first joined the circus, I was just a kid running away from a family that didn't love me. I was so desperate to find myself, but all I found was him. He was a contortionist, able to fit in all sorts of unusual boxes, but that wasn't where his true talent lied. I'm not sure he even knew where he belonged or who he really was, he spent so long morphing into something he wasn't. Though that didn't stop me from falling for the shape he had woven himself into that week. He took me under his wing and taught me all his tricks, pretty soon I was just as good at shifting away from my problems, too. He taught me to contort, and I let him morph me into something I wasn't either. I tied myself in knots, I've broken bones, and shifted features for him. Once he left me I was such a strange shape that I didn't fit in anywhere. But I learned, I lived through the pain, and instead of changing who I was I let it shape me. As strange as I may seem to others, I am a beautiful creature, and I don't need anyone to tell me differently. A gorgeous abnormality. So hear me when I say, don't bend, don't break, believe in yourself first.

Ember: "As soon as I saw this week's prompt I knew that I had to do a shoot where I'm portraying a clown. Circus theme aside, you may wonder "Why a clown specifically?". Clowns are often feared and at times rejected by wider society due to the fact that their arduously painted expressions evoke a primal fear and uneasiness in people; the reason for this? People are coded to gauge other people's moods via their expressions and body language and clown's expressions do not truly reflect the paint wearer's mood or intention. As a non-binary person who is often viewed under a skeptical lense and even distrusted at times due to my own chosen form of self expression and identity, I thought it important to align myself with a group of people who are also frequently misunderstood and alienated due to the way/s they choose to express themselves"

The opportunity came the next day, with the sight of a flying elephant high in the sky. They grew to be happy partners at the circus— flying all over. Pearlie named him Dumbo and they grew to be happy partners at the circus.

Hey Simmers!
The year has flown by for me.
I would like to thank you very much for your hearts, responses, requests. ❤️
I've been doing this for 3 years because I really enjoy doing it, but I love seeing it
that you like what I make and what I create.
Thank you for that. 🙏🏼
I was able to learn new things, for example animations, from which I learned a lot. I have become better at the complexities of horses and other animals that I used to find difficult. 🐎
I did a lot of different things this year, for example: Making lots. I have also been working on a lot of deco sims.
I also did something special and that is 30 different hand gesture poses for deaf sims. 🧏🏼♀️ Which was also very educational for me!
Because everyone is unique, and no one is perfect, and I think it's special that I made this possible and that people found this extremely beautiful. ❤️
I made a total of 451 creations this year, from lots to poses.
With these families making my poses a little happier, I've used a total of 23 sims this year looking at the poses. 👨🏼👩🏼👧🏼👦🏼 (The request sims are not included)
This doesn't mean that all my poses are perfect, because that's not possible! There is always something to learn and improve, which is what makes it so much fun.
You can tackle challenges that you find difficult and integrate them to succeed. 🌟
Because of you I can continue to do what I love! I already have great ideas for next year, but I need your help!
Do you have any nice ideas or do you really want to see something special, or do you think ''that persical'' pose or animation or something else? Should be included next year, come up with something fun! And who knows, you might see him appear.
Since my inspiration once stopped, I desperately need your help.

she did get abducted by aliens, but they all started freaking out due to kidnapping THE bella goth instead of that lame slut that nobody cares about 😒 they don't really need the flack of capturing a well-known person again. it makes what they do soooo much harder 🙄 so after panicking for a bit they just drop her ass right outside of strangetown fuck it.
congruently, daddy bigbucks and his bestie attorney lily gates are on their way to strangetown to start that bullshit ass show he makes, but this time on the way a wormhole opens up in the sky and the bigbucks from the end of the gba game (you know, when his shit ends up coming back to bite him in the ass), falls from the sky and causes them to have an accident, and the gba!bigbucks takes over their operation. they happen upon bella and take her hostage too, and really start monetizing on the "bella got abducted by aliens" story. merch, signs, ads in the paper, they bring on a look-alike bella to walk around strangetown and eat out of the trash act nothing like bella so ppl can talk and call the hotline they bought. really banking on this.
after some time passes and they're racking in a moderate amount of money, gba!bigbucks decides that the original idea he had with the strangetown reality show could work with pv/st/vv is in it too lets pretend there's a reason why it was incorporated. they have the money, the inkling of a plot that could go any way possible, all they needed to do was put that shit into action.
bella during all of this is just living lavish in bigbucks mansion. as time goes on the urge + guilt to go back to her family lessens more and more as the frankly fucked up reality tv plans grows. technically she's even more of star now than she was before, but she's more subdued to the public because she's never really cared about 'fame' in regards to the public. the only things she does now are be the "woman that got abducted" and show up in the show sometimes to stir some shit, and hang with her friends and make moneyyyyyyy. she gets to be beautiful and fabulous and gorgeous with few responsibilities and that's how its been for almost 20 years :3

okay SO! I'm actually still developing a favorite because there's so many in the genre to pick from and they're all so unique! so I'm just going to ramble about non-bokumono and bokumono-adjacent farm sims that I think are good and worth bringing up!
Stardew Valley is the obvious one everyone jumps to. It's a solid harvest moon clone--not in a derogatory way, I mean it was literally created to be a clone of an earlier harvest moon game, and it does that job extremely well and then proceeds to build on the formula in a way that clearly resonated with a lot of people. It is not, however, my favorite. Don't look at my play time on steam. I am slightly burned on it due to how many people slap the label "stardew valley but [core aesthetic]" on every fucking farm sim because they're Guy Who's Only Played Stardew Valley, Playing His Second Farm Sim. BUT it IS really just a great farm sim with solid mechanics.
Graveyard Keeper gets a mention here because, while it doesn't quite match up tonally with the rest of the genre and is only sort of even IN the genre, if you like farm sims as a whole, chances are great that you'll like Graveyard Keeper, as it scratches the same gameplay loop itch that you'll get from any good farm sim. This is a game that was recommended to me by no less than seven people when I was looking for a new farm sim to play, and for good reason! Loosely, you get Issekai'd into another world to be that world's graveyard keeper, and spend the game trying to get back home. Not a farm sim in the truest sense, still worth mentioning here.
Coral Island. Ohhhh my god Coral Island. It's still in the creation stages and being polished, but holy SHIT the vibes are immaculate. Nature and environmentalism-focused farm sim with one of the most diverse casts I've gotten the pleasure of seeing in a farm sim. The characters are beautiful, the concept is gorgeous, and the focus is not just on farming and community, but on cleaning up the environment and taking care of the world we live in. Kind of like another farm sim, I think, but I'm blanking on which one I'm thinking of right now?
PUMPKIN DAYS is absolutely worth mentioning here. It's a super super charming proper farm sim. I wouldn't recommend it to people new to the genre, but rather to genre vets who are already sure they like the core gameplay of farm sims. Much like Coral Island, Pumpkin Days has a MASSIVELY diverse cast. There's three towns you can live in on the island the game is set on, each with their own characters. While it's hard to definitively point to any one character as a specific breed of queer, it's actually the only farm sim I can name where you can be truly poly! Also extremely nice, there's a town on the island called Spoonie Island that's a lovely little community of variously disabled and neurodivergent characters. The reason I wouldn't recommend this as a starter farm sim is one thing: tank controls. This game has tank controls. This is the most interesting decision I've ever seen in a farm sim. Once you settle in with them, it works and I hardly noticed the difference anymore after about 20 hours of gameplay, but if you're a newcomer to the genre? You'll want to start with a game that controls like 74% of other games in the genre. (This is also why I don't recommend Island of Happiness or Sunshine Islands to newcomers to the genre. Touch screen movement is another you get used to but should not start with.)
Another not-technically-a-true-farm-sim game I absolutely fucking NEED to bring up here is Sakuna: Of Rice And Ruin. It's developed by XSEED games, which you'll note is an American subsidiary of Marvelous, the company that makes the bokumono games. They're really fucking good at farm sims. Sakuna is not technically a farm sim--there's a set plotline, the game is much more combat-oriented, and there's no dating system, but this game is still very much about community, and one of the main mechanics is farming rice to grow your strength as a harvest goddess. This game is SO fucking technical with the farming aspect, in the best fucking way. In learning more about how to properly grow the rice, I actually ended up looking into actual fucking real life rice disorders and being able to translate that into in-game mechanics to be able to treat them. I still get advertisements for farming equipment and fertilizers from how much research I've done. I only got 100 hours out of this game, but I chalk that more up to the plot and progression having a more definite end than, say, Rune Factory 4 and its endless dungeons in the endgame. If there were more plot to work through and more progression to gain, I would easily get another 300 out of it.
This post is starting to get long (it's like I'm talking about farm sims or something) so this'll be my final mentions here: My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock. Again, not true farm sims in that you're not technically a farmer. Absolutely a farm sim. In these games, you're a Builder who comes to a town (Portia or Sandrock, depending on the game [wow]) and works to build up the community. It took some adjusting to settle in to the art style, but once I did, holy shit these games are fun. These are also more combat-oriented and DEFINITELY less farming-oriented--while you can grow crops and have animals, it's absolutely an afterthought to gathering materials to build things for people. You can get married in these ones, unlike Sakuna or Graveyard Keeper, and it's definitely the closest to true farm sim out of the "kind of but not really but definitely in the genre but also not really" category. My Time at Sandrock sees a full release in September, and I am SOOOO excited. I haven't been playing it as much because I literally have So Much Of Everything to get done while working full time and obsessing over my boys, but any game I've talked about here is well worth it.
OH MY GOD I DIDN'T MENTION ATOMICROPS. Atomicrops counts. It has the farming sim tag on steam so it counts. Okay so like imagine the apocalypse. Now imagine running a farm after the nuclear apocalypse. Much much more combat oriented. This one's a roguelike. You can and should get married in this one. Hands down the best farm sim to recover from dental surgery to. I associate this game with the taste of mashed potatoes.

Nestled within a picturesque landscape of lakes, meandering rivers, and lush trees, Willow Creek exudes a captivating charm that envelops both residents and visitors alike. This idyllic town, with its enchanting natural beauty, offers a sanctuary of tranquility and respite from the bustling outside world.
The residents of Willow Creek are a diverse tapestry of individuals, each contributing their unique stories and perspectives to the town's vibrant fabric. From young families seeking a peaceful haven to retirees savoring the serenity of their golden years, Willow Creek welcomes people from all walks of life (we're going to ignore that i didn't make a single elder sim).
In contrast to its picturesque scenery, Willow Creek harbors an undercurrent of judgment and toxic social dynamics. The town's obsession with conformity and upholding traditional values often creates an oppressive environment for those who do not fit the narrow definition of "normal."
The residents of Willow Creek, while outwardly pleasant, are often quick to pass judgment and hold strict expectations for their neighbors. Deviation from societal norms is met with skepticism and disdain, leading to a pervasive atmosphere of conformity and a fear of being labeled an outsider.
In this close-knit community, there is an intense pressure to conform to societal standards, both in appearance and behavior. The pursuit of material wealth, social status, and the appearance of a picture-perfect life are deeply ingrained in the town's culture. This emphasis on maintaining appearances often leads to shallow relationships and a lack of genuine connections among residents.
The town's obsession with tradition also stifles progress and hinders acceptance of diversity. Alternative lifestyles, non-conforming identities, and differing beliefs are often met with hostility, further perpetuating a culture of exclusion and intolerance. But that's the stuff they won't tell you on tv ;)
As far as the public knows (and ever will know), Willow Creek is the ideal place to be!
FINALLY FINISHED WITH ALL OF THE WILLOW CREEK RESIDENTS!
In all honesty it ended with the potters but I tend to post my sims after I finish everyones everyday outfit. Still have to finish their outfits, give them likes and dislikes, a job/afterschool acivity, skills, lgbtq preferences, etc. My save's are always VERY detailed and personalized, it takes me forever to finish one world. Last time it took me 4 months to finish Willow Creek so glad it only took me one month this time 😭
Next up is Oasis Springs! I tend to fight with myself on whether to make Oasis Springs a very nice looking Spanish town or a very poor, beaten up and broken American town. In all honesty I think i'm gonna mix it up this time and do both.

hmmm i would say that it's a pretty game overall :) ts3 sims were, in my opinion, not super pretty but the worlds were very beautiful and realistic. obviously all the mods + cc + g/reshade make ts4 very unique for everyone and you can make that game even more beautiful and to your liking!!
i really love playing this game! i'm more often taking screenshots nowadays than playing but yeah. making sims and building is super easy in this game and i love to be in cas dressing up my sims and all of that! i think ts4 lacks gameplay let's be real, but all the mods make it very fun for me :) the infants update brought me the joy of playing the game again actually.
