how do u think megumi would react overtime as he gets used to you bringing him flowers every so often?

no particular occasion, you just wanted to bring him flowers. what do you think he does with them?

oh lawd this is so cute~~

the first time you give megumi a small handful of wildflowers you'd picked while walking around on campus. you hadn't necessarily intended on giving them to him specifically.. you just happened to be in a rush to go somewhere and he just happened to be there and net thing he knew you were shoving them into his hands and shouting 'for you!' before running off again.

despite the slight warmth in his face, megumi hadn't thought too much of it. it was just coincidence, just you being your usual kinda forgetful self and gifting him whatever happened to be in your hands. it very well could have been a gum wrapper, couldn't it?

the small pile of flowers sit in a sad lump on his desk for a couple days, they're shriveled up and a bit smelly. when he throws them out he still doesn't think much of it- besides how odd it is that flowers can have such a rancid smell once they've whithered.

and then it happens again. this time you're walking back from a particularly easy assignment. a random yellow flower catches your eye and before megumi could tell you not to pick flowers from their well placed beds in town, you're carefully plucking it from the dirt and raising it to your noise. his scold dies on his tongue when you tell him it smells nice and bring it to his face for him to sniff as well. he feels like an idiot, but he finds himself leaning forward for a whiff. he doesn't say anything- but he doesn't deny the pleasant, light scent of spring. you must be able to read his thoughts, because you laugh, before breaking off a part of the stem so you could reach up to tuck it behind his ear. megumi winces at this, unfamiliar with the feeling and unsure of whether or not he should stop you. but you seem delighted when the bright flower stays against his mess of dark hair, so he tries to ignore the whole thing completely.

the nameless yellow flower sits in a small cup of water on his nightstand for a week. eventually the small amount of sunlight and water isn't enough to keep it in bloom, and once it's petals have fallen all around the base of the cup, megumi decides it's time to toss that one out too. but at least he tried with that one, right?

he's not sure exactly when it becomes a habit, but soon it appears every time you approach him, there's a gift of nature in your hands. sometimes it's just dandelions, but sometimes it's pretty flowers you've found on your walks or assignments. there's a few times you've even pulled a half wilted flower out of your pocket- it's petals already torn and it's stem weak and bent. you're only bashful when giving him the less than perfect flowers, but megumi accepts them all the same. with a mostly hidden smile and gentle hands as he takes them from your gentle fingers.

not all of your flowers go into cups, although he does keep them in rotation, replacing the old with the new when he deemed fit. but he only kept a few on his nightstand at a time. he couldn't have anyone noticing his habit of actually keeping your silly gifts after all. it'd be best if no one figured out his tiny, barely there soft spot for you.

so naturally, he kept the rest of your flowers pressed between the pages of his books, where they'd be best hidden. every book on his shelf became littered in the covers and pages with perfectly kept wildflowers. to the point where he had to be careful when opening them, just to be sure none fell out where they risked being lost or ruined. megumi was very thoughtful in his flower placement, taking great care to press them neatly in place.

because of course he couldn't have any of them go to waste, not when the lovely, delicate gifts were given to him by the most lovely thing of all.

Hello bean, you can call me Mea (she/her)! I saw you were doing match-ups, haven't done one in years but if you don't mind pairing me with someone from the Batboys or Jujutsu Kaisen fandom (male)?

I'm 5'7, lanky build—used to be athletic zzz not so much now hehe. I wear glasses and I have a silver streak hidden in my hair on the left side. I like baggy clothes, leaning towards grunge/techwear style (or my pjs.) At first glance I look mean with my resting b*tch face and I've been told I am nice but I'm very quiet which puts people off when they first meet me because I don't really talk. Overtime I start getting chattier and can keep convos going for hours. I can still be very blunt af when I talk. a hint of passive-aggressive tendencies sometimes. If it's any easier, my zodiac sign is Cancer with a rising in Taurus / MBTI is INFJ-T / Hufflepuff :) I spend a lot of my time reading fics, mangas and webtoons. Been on a super anime binge recently! I also enjoy writing fics of my own. Aside from those and uni, I'm pretty crafty with resin, textiles and baking.

I'm drawn to the quieter guys with dark hair and a light tsundere personality because I’m somewhat the same way—cold/quiet first, tends to keep to themselves but once you get to know them? Biggest cuddle bugs in the world. If they are creative (music or otherwise) that’s a plus too. Since I’m a writer and avid daydreamer myself, having someone who can relate or at least offer an ear for my fangirl rants and crazy ideas is a plus. •Megumi might seen like a guy who tends to suppress his emotions and just go with the flow, don't get me wrong, he's like this. But when you're around there's something in his brain that just turn off.

•He's a secret softie for you, okay? Megumi tries hard to make you feel comfortable and loved, he wants to be a good boyfriend and wants this relationship to work. However, don't expect him to be overly romantic nor into heavy pda.

•I feel like this boy would love to be the little spoon, so Imma go with that! There's something about having your arms wrapped around him while his head rest comfortably in the pillow and the warm your giving him that makes Megumi's heart to beat faster. He loves it.

•If he can keep up with Nobara and Itadori and still have some sanity left, he also can hear your crazy rambling. Megumi might look at you as if you're going nuts, but he will try his best to say his ideas too...but they might be not that creative.

•Okay Megumi knows how to sing and he will get really fucking embarrassed if you hear him. Singing it's a way of escapism for him and he only does it when he think he's alone, his voice is beautiful but he's insecure about it.

•Megumi would sing to you after a lot of persuasion. If his voice cracks then he will get red from head to toe, so please be nice and tell him it was beautiful.

•Jason it's a complicated person to say the least, but when he loves, he loves hard. So now you've got a bodyguard who will whine if you don't cuddle with him.

•Passive aggressiveness doesn't work with him since he'll get annoyed and pull out the same card or just tell you to say what the fuck is going on so you can resolve it like adults. Yeah, Jasson is not that patient when it comes to arguing.

•Jason has the habit to pull you into his lap whenever you're passing by when he's reading in the couch. Then he'll smother you in kisses as he wraps his arms around your waist.

•You're a writer?? Ahhh Jason's love for you would be even bigger!! He's a literature nerd and loves books with all his heart, so expect this boy to be hyping you when you feel like you're getting nowhere with your book.

•Jason also used to write screenplays when he was younger, but he won't confess that since it has been a long time since he did it.

•Also this man is a really good cook so imagine the kind of dishes you two could do together! Cooking with you is one of his favorite things, but you might get a little bit distracted by all of his kisses and playful touches though. Also, Jason Todd is a sucker for your bake goods.

you didn't count as an obstruction to megumi's personal space. if yuji threw his arms around him for a hug, megumi was annoyed. when gojo rubbed his hand all over his head and messed up his hair, megumi was annoyed. even if someone sat too close, megumi was annoyed.

it didn't take much to breech his personal space.

but you didn't count.

if you approached him with open arms, he was pulling you close to his side and holding you there. if he was sitting and reading his book in peace but you came around? he was making space for you to crawl into his nap to cuddle while he read. no matter the situation, you always seemed to be close, and megumi seemed to like you there.

it was no secret, everyone saw the way you rested your head on his shoulder during car rides, and always reached out to him for hugs. but with megumi being as stoic as he is, no one ever really pushed for an explanation as to... why?

had you always been close? were you dating? did he give up on trying to push you away? honestly no assumption made sense, so eventually people stopped trying to reach for one.

you would always know the truth, though.

"you've got your nose stuck in your book again, 'gumi," you huff as you walk around the couch, hands on your hips as though you're about to scold him. "been waitin' in bed for twenty minutes"

lowering his book only a little bit, megumi raises his head to meet your non-threatening gaze.

"twenty whole minutes in bed by yourself? when did my baby get so brave?"

you pout at him, and it's effective enough that he drops his book and beckons you to come closer. he knows you've been waiting, you're not exactly patient about it.

and as expected you come to him right away, straddling right over his lap and curling into his chest like you were his natural puzzle piece. megumi merely chuckles as he rubs your back, coaxing you to rest while he lingers on the couch with his book a little longer.

"gonna fall asleep if you keep this up" you mutter. megumi hums.

"and once again i'll carry you to bed" he says. you giggle. cling to him a little closer. enjoy the beating of his heart against your chest, almost in sync with yours.

"that's why i love you 'gumi," you sigh, only partially joking. "you're so sweet"

he chuckles. it vibrates from his chest and through you, and you smile as you snuggle into your secret softie of a boyfriend.

like the secret softie he is, he kisses your head a few times, continues to rub your back, and holds you close to him so you could sleep comfortably while he read.

"i love you too, baby," he murmurs into the crown of your head before picking up his book again.

and you don't need to be told. you know. you'll always know. for as long as he keeps you close, you're all his.
