summary: (requested) while on a trip with elvis and his memphis mafia to a cabin, you have a minor accident and elvis comes to the rescue.

when elvis had come to you with the idea at staying a cabin during the most freezing time of the year, you were hesitant at first. but that would mean spending more time with him so you eventually caved in and agreed to it. what you didn't know was that he'd also be inviting the members of his little mafia along with the two of you but he assured you that it would still just be the two of you.

not to say it wasn't nice though. being able to sit beside the window and watch the snow fall outside with a warm mug in your hands brought you a sense of peace as elvis was in the other room laughing and chatting with his friends. you eventually zoned out after awhile, your chin resting on your hand as you stared outside at the snow which had stopped falling several minutes ago. elvis came up behind you, placing a kiss on the top of your head and startling you, bringing you back to reality. he let out a soft laugh and apologized. "sorry darlin', didn't mean to scare you."

"it's fine, it's fine. everything okay?" you asked, looking up at him.

"actually, we were about to go and check out the snow. you wanna come?"

you hopped up from your seat excitingly. "let me get my coat!"

when you returned with your coat, everyone had already made their way outside except elvis, who was waiting for you at the door. "you didn't have to wait for me."

elvis opened the door for you, letting you step outside first. "it's slippery out there, i gotta keep my eye on you." he was always overprotective of you, which you didn't mind. but sometimes you'd wish he'd tone it down a notch. he couldn't help it though, his biggest fear was losing you and the last thing he needed was to see you getting hurt. it was frustrating at times but it was never worth the argument. he followed you outside, holding onto you tightly as you walked down the slippery steps from the cabin.

you both wandered around, catching up with the mafia who were out throwing snowballs at eachother. it was a nice moment with just the two of you until elvis was hit straight in the back with a snowball followed by sonny running off in the distance. "oh, you little shit!" he yelled. "hold on baby, don't go anywhere." he said to you before running off to chase after his friends. you laughed as you watched them all go after eachother. as you were walking towards a log to sit on, despite watching your step, you didn't realize there was ice under the snow you were stepping on. causing you to slip and fall back, landing straight on your butt.

elvis noticed immediately, rushing over to you as fast as he could without slipping himself. "baby! oh god, i should have been watchin' ya, are you okay? is anything broken? do i need to call-"

"elvis! i'm okay, i think my ankle might be little bruised." you said, attempting to get up. he stopped you quickly, instead picking you up bridal style and yelling to his friends that he was taking you inside. "lord, elvis i'm okay!"

he rushed you inside, setting you carefully on the couch. you let out a soft hiss at the sudden pressure on the same spot you fell on. "i'm so sorry baby, i shoulda been payin' attention." he carefully slid off your shoe and pulled up the leg of your pants, looking at the bruising around your ankle. "oh hon, what did you do? twirl in the ice?"

you rolled your eyes. "yeah elvis, i felt like skating for a little." you replied sarcastically.

elvis scoffed and got up to get you a bag of frozen vegetables, carefully placing it on your ankle. "does it hurt anywhere else?"

you shuddered at the sudden coldness. "my back, like right where i fell. it's so sore."

he frowned at you, sliding your jacket off and shoving a soft pillow behind you and propping you up. "i'm sorry, satnin. is there anything else i could do for you?"

"just sit with me?"

he smiled at you, taking a seat next to you. you were enjoying his company until you remembered his friends outside, probably waiting for elvis to return. "oh! what about the-"

elvis shrugged. "let 'em freeze. you're my only concern right now."
