something something band au. team dark. omega on synths and samples and misc electronic stuff he plays thru his speakers, plus a physical keyboard he plucks at. rouge on bass, shadow on drums. like this maybe:

do you see me. shadow on bass rouge on drums also works. shadow’s the drumnbass guy choosing either drum or bass (different kind of drum or bass than what is typical of dnb lol) works well enough but it’s such a hard choice. but bassists/guitarists make better frontmen generally and rouge undeniably has the frontman energy between the two.

actually my choices have been largely based on the thought that omega wouldn’t have the dexterity for drums or anything other than keys, on account him being fucking huge and having metal cones for fingers, but i’m naive. he can do whatever he wants forever and imagine the physical comedy of him somehow sitting on a tiny stool wrecking the shit out of a drum kit. logistics don’t matter if it’s funny and you believe in it enough

omega on drums + synth n shit. he’s running a full daw. shadow on bass, rouge on guitar, all of em on vocals sometimes. this formation is also fun

the cool thing about band aus is that it unlocks a whole new level of autism. no longer do the songs i like need to have lyrics that i can even tangentially relate to fictional characters, i can just imagine them playing it

I’ve been wanting to experiment with noses more for a while, so I finally sat down and forced myself to doodle some concepts.

#keese draws #oc posting #oc art #oc #ocs #eternal gales #band posting #<- technically since yori and kou are here lol #I’ll still need to mess around a bit more #but I think I’m liking this direction in style change #mostly because I’ve noticed I rly struggle with portraying the noses I want for some of my characters #mase in particular was the character that made me most realize I need to work on noses more #also yes I did draw his hair a bit differently mostly since I feel like the top bit of his hair fit poorly with the rest #his hair was always meant to be very loosely tied so it looking so short/pulled back doesn’t make #much sense to me #so idk I might be redesigning him very lightly? #either way he is soooo due for a new ref along with aris so I might do those soon #after those two I think most of the human kids will have updated refs? #well ok I guess with nose style change a lot of refs will be outdated again but shhhhh #oh wait the snake triplets need a new ref too I forgot #oh and for other human characters momoko also needs a new ref #yuriko and kou could also use them a lil bit but they don’t super need the

im in like my schools musician program (but its like just more of a band for the better students? idk how to describe it) and we just had our concert where we performed like 10 pieces that we had been working on for a semester. we had our 2 period time block where we usually rehearse but as we had finished our concert we had nothing to rehearse. so, we were doing some like music history study where we were looking at like opera houses and stuff liek that okay so we were studying wagner today and how he revolutionised how we perform and this came up. its his seating plan for the pit (which if you didnt know is completely goofy and wacky)

and yeah.. so if you look closer, eh nah fuck it.

so basically my bass clarinet buddy looked over at me and he (knows im gay) and was like 'is that..' and im like 'yeah, its faggot' so we just sorta sit with that and then one of the junior school kids (since the band is grade 3-12 i think) said 'whats fagotte' and were like all looking at eachother and the teacher is like 'thats a bassoon' and obviously were all like 'ohhHHHHHH'
