OMG LEE KNOW OR JAE 😭😭😭 i'm gonna give it to lee know tho (nobody's shocked). similar to mel's answer we could go on a lil stroll through the woods then stop for coffee after. we go back home and i'll watch him make lunch for us and then we binge watch spy x family for the rest of the day bc i still haven't finished it yet and he would not have that .

PARK JINYOUNG MY BELOVEDDDDD 😭 he is so passionate about what he does - singing, dancing, acting, he is putting in the work and it shows!! didn't think i could love him more and then i watched he is psychometric DUDE 🥺🥺 that's not even the one he won an award for but like dang bro he was good !!!! also i feel like he has a good balance of being silly goofy and like . being serious/chill/more reserved??? idk he's a virgo so he def takes himself seriously but like , not too much u know ??

not to rant but i love how he loves his members too . he is so kind like he really loves them and cares for them and wants them all to succeed, regardless of how often he says they're annoying (yugbam the problem children fcdjhdvjk) he's rly just the mom (yugyeom's specifically) of the group and it's very sweet <3

6. If you were to tell 8 anything you wanted, what would you tell them?

soobin!!! i would tell him he's doing a great job being the leader to his hooligans and that i get "bye guys!! hi ladies!!! mwah!" stuck in my head at least once a week 🖤

7. Between 1 and 2, whose closet would you raid?

between lino and dk hm ... i think they're both pretty similar (casual, comfy, boyfriend-y) but if i had to choose i'd say dokyeom. he seems just a little bit more adventurous in his style i feel like he likes a good pattern

8. What is a style that you want to see 3 try?

hm for jae and also for the rest of the group i think something in the vein of seventeen's home;run era could be fun .. all the funky colors and retro-y fits ! 🤔🔮 i'm seeing jae with dark hair and a patterned collared sweater .. and pearls ofc 🔮

9. Between 5 and 4, who are you closer to in height?

i think mark and taehwan are the same height (5'9"/175cm) so neither ! hfdkvfjfd

10. Between 10 and 9, whose music do you like the best?

individually, i'm sorry gyu i'm gonna give it to donghyun i looove his vocals ! venus ??? so smooth so ethereal 🍯 in terms of their groups though, i love my yeppis but it's gotta be seventeen for me dawg they're like all time for me we're rly in this carat shit for life 💎 i can't find the words to explain how much i love them and their music literally the only thing coming to mind rn is when dk said "it's love, of course" and like !!!! yeah !!! ykwim !?!!

Welp I just watched the new Wednesday show-

So let's say Alma was related to the Addams family...Gomez's niece? She never liked people all that much so she usually stayed in solitude. The only time she came out is during festivals, the day of the little candles specifically.

That was the night she met Pedro, she saw him and he saw her.

Pedro was never frightened by her behavior, he never was for some strange reason. As long as she was happy, he was happy.

Of course, Pedro still died but Alma could reach him through a seance or whatever so she wasn't that distraught. She was only upset that she couldn't feel him anymore.

Alma still stayed her true quiet, timid, stoic, and "creepy" self. Over the years the triplets didn't exactly behave like her. They were what her related family would call "normies". She was quite confused and saddened that they wouldn't be like but she would never show it. Alma would never force her children to be anything other than what they want to be.

She tried to engage in "normie" activities with her children. Some of the occasions turned out great other times...not so much.

Nothing bad happened, Alma just couldn't get through the activity without scaring other people or just not fully enjoying it.

Even with all her effort, she and the triplets really don't see eye to eye. Alma tried to take them to nevermore to see if they could blend in, but they only lasted a week.

So she took them to public schools and they turned out, in normie words, great. All the triplets got all A's and succeeded in extracurricular activities, even AP classes.

Bruno turned out to be an author, Pepa a news broadcaster, and Julieta a cook. All are happy with their lives.

Julieta and Pepa got married, and Bruno is happily single. Everything turned out great until 2-year-old Isabela and Dolores threw knives at the fathers. He told them they couldn't have a snack and they obviously didn't like that. How they got the knives is a mystery.

Alma never laughed so hard in her laugh, even the triplets were shocked. She knew Isabela and Dolores missed on purpose, it wasn't their intention to kill them just to warn them.

As they got older they started to show more interest in strange things.

The triplets weren't that alarmed, their mother acted this way so it wasn't really that much of a scare. The only thing they were worried about is their social life but in Alma's words-

"People are annoying, you should be happy if they don't associate themselves with people"

Of course, the grandkids got along with their grandmother just fine and not so much with their parents. They find Abuelo Pedro too "happy" but he is nice to talk to once in a while.

Dolores and Isabela were the first ones to go to Nevermore. And succeeded the best out of their classes.

Now, this au can go two ways,

it can be centered around Dolores and Isabela

It can be centered around all the grandkids

For write reasons I'll just call it the nevermore au

Bro I still haven't seen that show 😭😭 not sure if I'll get to watch it, I'm still trying to catch up on jjba 💀💀 ANYWAY. Sounds really cool, so cash money <33 as for centering??? Not sure. I am. Very biased though. Like I automatically will say the second option. BUT AGAIN UP TO YOU❗❗❗

I just came home from the Eras tour movie and here are some thoughts:

First each era:

Lover: definitely a good place to start! Who doesn't love screaming the Cruel Summer bridge? But whyy did they have to cut the ultimate Katniss Everdeen song? (Aka The Archer)

Fearless: Fun and nostalgia! I don't really have much else to add about this section.

Evermore: I got more emotional than I expected about this section! Willow is an Experience TM (in a good way ofc), but also, Marjorie nearly made me cry, and the setting in Tolerate it is so well thought out. The Champagne Problems bridge ♥ I don't even mind NBNC had been removed from the movie because it's not my personal favorite 😅

Reputation: this is my personal favorite era so it's no surprise I was pretty much jumping up and down on my seat... Wish it was a little longer tho, like it would have been amazing to have songs like I did something bad or Getaway Car in the set list, but I shouldn't complain because some other eras are even shorter. (Also, the transition between Don't blame me and Look what you made me do! Always gets me)

Speak now: Only Enchanted (since Long Live had been moved to the ending credits, which admittedly was probably a good move) but well, it's always a lot of fun to scream the chorus, and Taylor's dress in this section looks so gorgeous!

Red: probably my least favorite section mainly due to my low tolerance to the earworms, but it was still fun (yes I even sang along to waneegbt, which I didn't think I'd do :'D) and ATW never disappoints!

Folklore: dare I say.... the section where I noticed my attention starting to go to other things, even though there were also songs I love such as August and Illicit Affairs. I would have kept Cardigan in the movie and taken, idk, f. ex. tlgad out of this section if smth had to be cut. And! I may make a separate post about this but damn I realized that My tears ricochet is such a hijacked Peeta song! Maybe it's just me but there were many parts that I could connect with him, but yeah, more about that later.

1989: After the much calmer folklore section this felt like 'it's party time!!' :'D It felt somehow more special knowing that we'll get the TV in only a couple of weeks! I think this section has pretty much all those songs you'd expect it to have, and tbh I don't even mind too much Wildest dreams got cut from the movie version.

surprise songs: ngl the LA shows each had such /amazing/ surprise songs (imo) that they couldn't have gone wrong now matter which ones they would have filmed (I was secretly hoping for You are in love and/or 1 of the reputation songs she sang in the last few shows), but I was very happy about YOYOK. Even filmed the bridge part and I could hear myself yelling it in the bg 😅 Our song is also fun tho I'm not really that big on the debut album generally speaking.

Midnights: Another favorite of mine. Those sitting near me were probably annoyed by the loudness with which I sang 'it's me, hi, I'm the problem it's me'. Karma is such a great way to finish the show (in my biased opinion, bc Karma is definitely one of my favorite songs from Midnights), and I wouldn't take anything out of this section.

Overall experience: While I admit that the (almost) 3 hours were starting to feel at some point, I don't think I would want it any shorter, I had such a great time! My personal experience was made better by the subtitles because I'm still a rookie Swiftie who doesn't remember each and every song by heart so it really helped me to sing along 😂 The movie hall I was watching it in wasn't huge, and well, I'm Finnish and we Finns are not generally speaking known for being loud so it did not get too loud at any point, but me and my neighbors were still singing along pretty much the whole time and I was also pleased that many fellow movie visitors knew some regular habits from the concerts, such as doing the heart hands or yelling 1, 2, 3 let's go bitch, etc. Luckily no one stood up near me! It was probably a good thing to go on the premiere day because I could tell most of the others in the hall were fans and not just going there 'because why not'. (Nothing wrong with that, but I myself feel more comfortable when I know that those near me are not judging me for being an enthusiastic viewer) And, as an added bonus, I got a friendship bracelet!!! I didn't think anyone would bring them, but the one sitting right next to me did, and it was such a nice gesture (I got one that said 'Cruel Summer'. They also gave us the tour posters at the cinema)

This movie/concert made me also realize how much happier (Taylor's) music currently makes me, so thank you, Miss Swift, for allowing even us here in the cold north to see this before you've even toured Europe!

Overall, 10/10, would (and likely will) go again. And yep, can't wait for next May now!

1. Between 7 and 5, who did you bias first?

Moonbin! Even though I learned about Stray Kids first (I got into kpop about a week before Back Door was released - I didn't know about Astro until March 2021) - Moonbin's always been my #1. Stray Kids... I think my bias order was something like Han > Bang Chan > Felix > Bang Chan > Changbin & Felix

2. Between 2 and 6, who are you more attached to?

Oh... this one's easy... Hwanwoong my beloved I'm so sorry - the answer's obviously Mijoo. I'd take a bullet for her.

3. If you were to spend the day with either 3 or 1, who would you choose and what would you do?

Now this. This question's painful. Part of me wants to say Wonho because it's Wonho, but...

Kei. Probably hang out, go out to eat, and watch horror movies, because - one of my fave fun facts - she loves horror/ghost movies? Which are my absolute fave. Literally would have never guessed looking at her.

4. what is your favorite physical feature about 9?

HAIR! Long hair! His mermaid hair means the world to me.

5. What is your favorite part of 6’s personality?

He's just a silly lil guy! I literally just watched a video where - he wasn't even the focus of it, but he just pops in to bully Leedo. Love him.

6. If you were to tell 8 anything you wanted, what would you tell them?

I'd tell Ryu Sujeong that her music is incredible, phenomenal, some of the best work I've ever heard. I'd tell her to please for the love of god keep making full albums. Love the indie vibe she's going for right now - but I'd kinda want to see if she'd ever go and do something like Tiger Eyes again - so I'd find a way to bring that up.

7. Between 1 and 2, whose closet would you raid?

Love everything Mijoo wears but let's be real I'm not fitting into any of that - so Wonho.

8. What is a style that you want to see 3 try?

THIS IS THEE QUESTION!!! Kei is sooo amazing & super brave because she's tried many styles outside her comfort zone! Like her trouble maker performance on Artistock? Loved that. I don't think she's the best at it - but I'd love to see it again. Honestly I feel like her style jumping is going to be her downfall in Queendom Puzzle - but I'm so pumped for it. Really hoping for another performance like wish you were gay on Queendom 1. I think she'd kill something like that now. I think Kei in a dark concept would just be fun to see - I know she was in the Death Note musical so like... She was styled that way, but it'd be interesting to see her cover Pixy/Dreamcatcher/PinkFantasy or oooh VIXX. Kei VIXX cover when.

9. Between 5 and 4, who are you closer to in height?

Leedo! He's an inch taller than me.

Oh god I have no clue. Monsta X and Onlyoneof both have really big hits & misses for me. I will say I liked Kihyuns solo work more than Junji's.... Order Up! Part 1 of 2

Extra Hot Hvitserk Macchiato for @alexhandersen-marcoilsoe-fandom on the bar!

Summary: You finally run into the cute barista from your favorite coffee shop when he’s not working. Will he be charming enough to lure you into bed? Or are you confident enough to invite him in yourself?

Warnings: Tooth Rotting Fluff, Slow Burn, Smut will be in Chapter 2

Note: This is technically a sequel, but can be read without reading Pour Overs and Pastries. (but that one is really cute, so you absolutely should if you haven’t)

The new job was going swimmingly. Your coworkers loved you, and you were crushing problems left and right. You’d even saved the company several thousand Krone by finding a smoother, more efficient way to execute some accounting procedures. The company was so happy they’d taken the chance on you, even though they had to go through all the trouble of coordinating the visa and moving you from New York to Denmark.

You’d fallen in love with the city, and your new life. Each workday you begin with coffee from Lothbrothers. The office has a little kiosk in the foyer, but the coffee from the little shop with the cute barista is worth the extra expense.

For three months your morning routine is peppered with pleasant conversation from Sigurd, local gossip with Ivar, and a whole bunch of covert staring at the muscles in Hvitserk’s back as he putters around the bar.

Two weeks into your daily trips to the shop, Ivar had turned to you while waiting for your drink and demanded your name saying, “Du er kommet her i to uger…” before seeing the look of immense confusion on your face and switching to English while rolling his eyes. “You’ve been coming here for two weeks now. Guess you’re a regular. Why are you in Denmark?”

You’re a little taken aback at his abrupt tone, but seeing as he has spent the last two weeks staring holes into his computer it is possible he’s just a little intense. You turn to him and say “A new job. I moved from New York,” but almost can’t spit it out, because as soon as you turn to answer him his icy blue eyes capture you in their magnetic pull.

You blink and he’s no longer looking you in the eye. “New York is a long way. Why Denmark?”

Shrugging you rest a hip on the counter and check your watch quickly. “It was the first overseas company I found willing to hire an American in the position I wanted. I’m very lucky, and very good at my job. Not to mention the perk of viking men.” You wink at this handsome stranger, and he looks away, a little flustered. Perhaps if you can’t catch the barista’s eye, you’ll have fun with this Dane instead.

“Latte for Y/N.” A voice growls from your side, and you turn around to grab your drink.

“Thank you, Hvits…” He is gone before you can finish his name, without so much as a “Thank you for coming,” like usual.

You frown, but suppose it must be busier than usual and turn back to the stranger you’d been conversing with. “Excuse me, I have to run to work, but it was very nice to meet you.”

“And you as well.” The stranger waves you off, and you scurry away, mind a flurry with thoughts of what you could’ve possibly done to piss off the cute barista. Was he just busy? Did you say something to the stranger that made him angry? You realize you never got the stranger’s name, but the rest of the anxious thoughts flow away with the calming walk to your office building.

The next day you learn the stranger’s name is Ivar, and you strike up an interesting friendship. Each morning you greet each other and while you wait for coffee he tells you all about the other patrons. You learn the large man on the bench from your first day is Bjorn, Ivar’s half brother. “But that’s a story for over drinks, not coffee.” You laugh together, but you have to go before he can ask you out for those drinks.

Ivar says the man at the window is the leader of a local church. Not a priest, and not a cult leader, but almost. Ivar is unashamed about his belief in their higher power, but makes it clear he doesn’t have a large commitment to Loki’s teaching specifically. The way he speaks of the older man, it seems like something had happened between the two, but Ivar is stubborn and refuses to speak anymore on the subject.

After six weeks of talking, Ivar tells you he’s an editor for a major Danish publisher. His sharp and ruthless mind makes sure no mistake is unaddressed and you get to sample some of the works he reads as he complains about plot holes or token characters.

Ivar seems to know everyone in the cafe, or can at least point someone out as new and predict if they will come back or not. Hvitserk will sometimes chime in with a comment about a patron. That they like this or that drink. That they don’t like raisins. That he thinks yellow isn’t their color. Or he bets they work for this lawyer or that restaurant.

Over the weeks you find out more little things about the two men, and you stop flirting with Ivar. You’ve noticed it gets him flustered and he seems to actually get uncomfortable, but he refuses to talk about it and changes the subject whenever you try. So you move on, and continue the friendly banter and non-sexual subjects. You’ve learned Hvitserk will stand up for the other employees. When someone is rude to Sigurd he will take over with a menacing glare and put in their order without a smile. If he hears harassing comments from people in line he will kick them out without thought, and Ivar supports him every time.

Your affection for Lothbrothers grows with every week you spend going to the coffeeshop, and your friendship with Ivar, and your crush on Hvitserk soar with it too.

Bright and early Saturday morning finds you browsing the local market for fresh finds. On the weekends you indulge your Farmer’s Market Aesthetic side and cook anything you can find. You’ve even started to befriend one of the local boulangers after he realized you love to hear about his process for choosing bread flavors for the day.

While talking to Pierre about his sourdough starter, you notice out of the corner of your eye a tall man approach the market stall. Pierre pauses in your conversation and you turn to get a better look at who is buying.

“Hvitserk?” His name slips out of your mouth in shock. You’d never run into anyone you know, who wasn’t a vendor, at this market before.

His head whips around, eyes impossibly wide as he stares at you, clearly thinking something similar.

“It’s Y/N. From the coffeeshop. Good Morning!”

“Yes, Y/N. Ivar’s new friend. Good morning.” He seems to pause, perhaps thinking about if it’s socially acceptable to turn tail and run. But then he simply asks “How are you?”

“I am well thank you. All the better for Pierre’s delicacies.” You smile toward the seller then ask, “How are you?”

“Well also, thanks. Do you come to this market often?”

“Only every Saturday for the past, oh, five weeks? Do you come here often, as well?”

“I have not been back in a long time.” He seems to think inwardly for a moment before coming back to the present. You wonder what makes him look like that. Who ruined this peaceful market for this gorgeous man?

“Well then you won’t have met Sara yet!” You grab his free hand and start pulling him toward one of the newer market stalls. On the way over you seem to realize what you’ve done, and try to pull your hand away out of propriety, but Hvitserk tightens his hold just a little and you can feel your face heat as you continue to hold hands.

There are a few people in line when you arrive, so you continue to make small talk, asking “So what made you decide to come to the market today?”

“I like to see what’s new or in season to add to the menu for the shop. Unfortunately the schedule doesn’t always allow me to scope things out as often as I like. Yourself?”

“I try to cook locally on the weekends, since I don’t have time during the week. There is amazing produce here, wait ‘till you try…” You’re interrupted by Sara proclaiming “My favorite customer!”

You laugh and hug your friend awkwardly over the counter. “Good morning, Sara. I want you to meet Hvitserk. He’s the barista at that amazing cafe by my apartment.”

“Co-Owner and barista, actually. It’s nice to meet you.” He reaches out his hand to greet Sara.

“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn't realize. How cool!” In all your talks, Ivar had never mentioned. You panic for a quick second before continuing. “Sara is the best beekeeper in all of the North. She also works part time with me in the office.”

“Welcome to ‘Sweet as Honey’! What can I get for you?” Sara chimes in with a big smile.

“He wants the small tasting jars. Lavender, Jalapeno, and Chai.” You turn to Hvisterk “Her flavors are ingenious and she comes up with new ones all the time. She brings in samples to work, so I'm both spoiled and biased.”

“I can’t wait.” He smiles softly. You go to pull out your wallet, but Hvitserk is already handing Sara some Krone. “You’ve bought enough coffee from me. I think I should return the favor.” He winks and inside you swoon a little. His flirty smile is a welcome change from the cool professionalism you get from him at Lothbrothers’.

“Thank you for stopping by! It was nice to meet you Hvitserk. I’ll see you on Monday, Y/N?”

“Bye, Sara! See you then.” As Hvisterk turns to walk away, Sara looks at you and points at him, then fans herself and pretends to faint. You give her a quelling look and shake your head no. She gives you an incredulous look in return, as if to say “Why not?” You shrug briefly thinking “I don’t know where this is going.”

You turn around to find Hvitserk has claimed a small bench by a tree a few feet away from Sweet as Honey. He pulls out the first of the jars, a small bag with six little cubes of bread inside, and a tiny wooden stirring stick. The heat of his body is scalding where you can feel it next to you, the bench only large enough to allow a sliver of air between you.

His large hands open the top on the Chai infused honey, and you watch his long fingers use the tiny stick to spread just enough honey on the first of the bread cubes. He offers you the cube. It would take nothing to grab it from him and pop it in your mouth, but you hesitate. He’s offered it at face level, so you take the chance. Your plump lips wrap around the soft bread, and your tongue sneaks out to lick any remaining honey off the tip of his thumb and forefinger.

In the time it takes you to chew and swallow he has acquired his own piece of honeyed bread. His is prepared lightning fast while barely taking his eyes off your face. The green of his iris is just a sliver, almost completely taken over by the black of his dilated pupils.

A quiet moan seems to force its way out of his chest as you make eye contact. “How does she get the delicate blend of cardamom and cinnamon?”

You clear your throat, but your voice is still a little husky. “I told you she was a genius. Try the Jalapeno.”

Together you try all the honeys, and Hvitserk comments on the balance of flavors, the texture, and how he would love to use some of them in either the pastries or the drinks at the shop. He also reveals that while they now have some bakers help in the morning, Hvitserk is still the one who recipe tests and makes all the menu decisions.

He puts his hand on your knee. “Stay here for a moment while I talk to Sara? I’ll be right back.” You watch him walk away and stare unabashedly at his ass perfectly hugged by his skinny jeans. He talks to the beekeeper, and you watch them exchange business cards

This day has turned out to be amazing, and you don’t want it to be over. Hvitserk has turned out to be an incredible conversation partner, and you can feel in your gut that the two of you click in a way you haven’t felt in a while.

When he returns, Hvitserk offers you both hands to help you from the bench. You take them, and as soon as you stand up you blurt out, “Come over for dinner tonight?” You wince at your tactlessness, but continue with “I bought so many good ingredients, and it would be an honor to share them with you.”

“I’m at Lothbrothers’ until 7. Can I come by after that?”

“7 is great. What’s your number? I can text you the address.”

You both exchange phones and add the new contact. When he gives yours back, you see he’s put Hvitserk Lothbrok in, but he’s also listed himself as “Hot Barista.” You roll your eyes at him when you look back up, and he throws you a flirty wink before saying goodbye and giving you a kiss on the cheek as well.

After watching him walk away you run back home and start prepping the menu, cleaning your apartment, and making sure you have some good wine to go with the meal.

I don't generally make this kind of thing a habit, but I think if you happen to be on the Crystal RP Discord, aka @crystal-rp-ffxiv, you should probably be aware of this kind of behavior, so here goes.

If you're on Crystal RP and the admin team decides they don't like you, you're going to be living under a microscope while they wait for you to mess up, if not bait you, probably while making up conspiracies about you as well. As for how I know this, I was a moderator for about a week's duration and saw it first-hand.

Unapologetically lengthy post. Receipts in the link above, long version below the cut.

From the first time I looked in the mod chat I knew something was wrong. I read backwards in the channel, thinking I'd acclimate myself and see what kind of rules precedents had been set and that sort of thing. I mostly just found out that they had it out for a particular member (at the time using the name Jericho) for not much reason. They'd spent a troubling amount of time over the past few months watching him and another member like vultures, believing them to be the same person and waiting for them to make some kind of mistake that would justify banning both of them...despite keeping different schedules, having different personalities and typing habits, and visibly being two different people. The admin team had come to the conclusion that Jericho was a troll who wanted to make them look bad, and anything he said or did was scrutinized to a ridiculous degree for evidence that would corroborate their belief.

Except none of the things they believed at all were true: he'd had a minor argument via DM with the head admin Benjimir Thursby's wife, Tessariel Aerlinn, who had made an overly broad statement about anime and Asian culture. Jericho had told her that overgeneralization about 'Asian culture' is potentially racist, and she became extremely angry, saying that because she's Asian, she can't be racist against Asians. After that, it seemed that Jericho was considered fair game for whatever retaliatory actions the two of them could justify.

Even a cursory glance at actual racism in Asia pokes Tessariel's statement entirely full of holes, and having personally read the conversation I didn't see anything actually inaccurate in his statement even if she believed it didn't apply to her. I asked what he had done that would merit such a response, because it felt very disproportionate to anything I'd ever seen him do publicly, and that was what I was told. The exchange via DMs had been screencapped and kept in a channel for evidence, and while I didn't get a copy of it, I did read it, and I said that I thought it sounded awfully one-sided and punitive and would have been much better as an actual conversation. I also expressed that I was concerned how much of the channel had been solely devoted to what was basically a witch hunt, considering that some of the server members had over the course of the past couple of months commented that the admins' behavior towards Jericho seemed biased.

I basically got a pat on the head and told that my opinion was "valued" but wrong. This would happen a lot over the course of the week.

Shit continued to escalate. Their favorite punching bag, who was acutely aware of the grudge by now and probably trying to be nice and discuss something that he thought they could all talk about, brought up some articles that stated that LOTRO might be having a graphical overhaul. This actually ended in him being put into some kind of time-out mute, because "everyone knows those articles are debunked already" despite them still being hosted on reputable games news sites. Back-channel, the admin consensus was that he was in fact trying to bait Benjimir and Tessariel into somehow looking stupid in public, because [paraphrasing] 'he knows how important LOTRO is to them.'

Benjimir in fact went off publicly about how he knows the dev team and they sent him 'personalized swag' for 'being himself' and that everyone should just listen to him because he's right. Someone else made a reasonable request for sources on statements that Benjimir made about the LOTRO improvements not happening, and they immediately became the team's private #2 punching bag.

The whole time I reiterated that this was really uncomfortable and I had serious concerns about the way they were handling Jericho. And as always I received a pat on the head and was told to not worry about it, there were really good reasons for it, really. He was 'bringing down the quality of discourse' on the server somehow. Benjimir decided that the only way he would unmute Jericho is if Jericho talked directly to him, and that Jericho tried to talk to any of the more level-headed members of the team first was taken as obvious evidence that he wanted to evade rules and create problems. I asked when we planned to unmute him, and Tessariel immediately jumped to the conclusion that he had messaged me, which wasn't incorrect but the way she worded it felt highly accusatory and I was beginning to feel that I was also in trouble somehow for not agreeing with the rest of the team.

Things came to a head quickly when I woke up and looked at the mod chat and they were having an animated conversation that started with Benjimir asking if it was 'bad that he was laughing at Jericho' and most of the rest of the team talking about how he was stupid, uninformed, a troll, etc. for the sin of having some misgivings about cryptocurrency, of all the things. One of the mods self-described their behavior as bullying. I said that this was extremely unprofessional and that I thought they should keep conversation to actual moderation matters, and if they had a personal disagreement with a server member they should handle it in a personal venue, not via official server moderation channels.

I was, for the final time, patted on the head, and told that this was not something they would consider, because the moderation team 'needs to be able to vent for their mental health' (never mind that the job was not stressful except for the rest of the team committing worse behavior than the server members) and that maybe I was in fact too sensitive for the job. Benjimir heavily implied that I had become too close to Jericho and was being manipulated, managed to misgender me somehow despite my having used solely male or neutral pronouns the entire time I'd been on the server, and after relating a story in which a couple of years ago a well-liked moderator left after having the same complaints as I did (which he saw nothing at all troubling about), suggested that I should be demoted to babysitting the lore channel.

So I took some time to collect receipts, which are linked at the top of the post, and told him where to shove it.

Since that time, things have actually somehow gotten worse on Crystal RP. Benjimir posted an entire page screed vaguely talking about "rampant negativity" that stated anyone with questions should DM him.

Upon DMing him with questions, Jericho was banned, the only reason given being that he was a 'poor fit' for the server in some vague way. I was immediately banned afterwards for calling out this decision as being driven by a personal vendetta in the feedback channel and let him know afterwards via DMs in no uncertain terms that I had logged everything I needed and would be building my case (and that he is an asshole). Jericho was reinstated, though I'm not sure what the conditions of his return were as that was after my ban and I didn't ask since I didn't want to stress him out further. Benjimir also reprimanded someone for discussing asexuality, stating in a DM to them that the conversation was somehow ERP related. I called him out on this via DM as well. Tessariel was not much later caught posting my last DMs to Benjimir in an entirely unrelated server, though she didn't include the part after that where I brought up his aphobia (during Pride Month, in a server with a rainbow icon no less). Benjimir for some reason decided to suddenly start following my FC's Tumblr well after our falling-out.

And as of today (6/24), Crystal RP now has seven pages of draconian rules, because it wasn't micromanaged hard enough before or something. Notably, a lot of these rules describe behaviors that they wanted to punish Jericho for but couldn't at the time justify, or that they'd like to punish me for but have nothing they can do to me. Or they exist to justify their own behavior, as now seen in the very beginning of the channel:

"This approach also provides our volunteers with leeway to act in good faith without the burden befitting a professional occupation."

"So we afford them the means to speak openly, vent, lament, candidly and yes, sometimes crassly and raw about everything and one."

Not only did they behave unprofessionally and shit-talk before, they have now encoded in the rules that this is acceptable and even good moderator behavior, because they saw someone else do it so it's fine (a lot of this wording is very similar to what I was told when I protested it). So rather than address anything I ever said past or present, Benjimir is choosing to double down and giving himself and his team explicit permission to be shitty, right in the opening paragraphs where you'd have expected a mission statement or at least some sort of welcome.

Which is about all you need to know about that server and its owners, in my estimation. I'd considered not even posting to Tumblr about it, but given that it's only getting worse, I think it should be generally known that this is how you can expect to potentially be treated.

The trlr didnt hint at it either 🤷‍♀️ The fact that int-fans (who watched illegally on yt 😬) r more pissed about storyline being changed than having 2 wait an extra week 2 watch on Viki is hilarious tho 😅😂

-> The whole concept of restarting TinCan when everything else moved linearly is ridiculous to me. How do the people in charge of these shows come up with this nonsense? Just tell the story better if people were upset with the end of season 1. Isn't that why season 2 exists?!?!??!?! Sorry. LBC2 is just stretching the bounds of believability for me.

-> LBC2 is confusing me a bit. I get why Saint isn't there cos of all the drama but they had so much time to come up with a good story regardless and I feel so... let down? I don't think I'll keep going after ep 1 but I'm glad so many people are happy it's back.

-> This tincan reboot thingy... Either they didn't even feel like trying to salvage the storyline (more dramatic but still doable) or they're trying to induce a mass amnesia, both of which make me go mehhh. Still, I'll give it a go because I'm curious how they'll manage this mess. So far, the continuations (s2g, lbc2) seem a bit underwhelming to me (sadly). Let's just hope my engineer and tharntype don't disappoint.

okay SO I finally found the time to watch the full 1st ep and I have.. some thoughts lmao. I collected a few reactions so it doesn’t get too repetitive 🙈Also I’m trying to word this as well as I can and this is just my personal opinion so don’t come for me please.

So I went into the ep the first time right after it came out, not knowing anything about the story or the timeline etc. and I just kind skipped through it bc I was curious and wanted to see what was going on lol. But just from the snippets I saw I got a little confused bc??? what up lol.

After I read some first reactions by ppl who were pissed af about the timeline rearrangement etc. I was initially very disappointed bc I had waited so long for this and now it seems like they messed everything up??... So when I actually watched the episode for the first time just now I was obviously biased, thinking it was gonna be horrible. But in reality.....it wasn’t?? lol.

Like,,,, tbh it was super weird seeing all of it again and getting back into the characters & stories after more than 2(!!!) years; but after I rewatched LBC1 a few days ago, I realized that regardless of the timeline etc., everything is just completely different?? And not just because of the TinCan situation but just like,,, the whole thing in general. Idk if I’ll be able to articulate this well enough but I tend to judge a lot of things based on the vibes I’m getting and the vibes this season compared to the last one were... something else lol; the characters all have changed a lot, especially Ae like hell I barely recognized him. They all seem much more mature which I’m guessing probably wasn’t intended. But!!! I like it!!! :)

Though with the different vibe I was getting during this ep, I honestly couldn't imagine a sequel as in “picking up where we left off”, set just a few weeks/months after ss1. That would’ve seemed even more off than it does now. At least to me. Maybe I’m the only one. idk.

So the fact that the TinCan story is being retold from scratch basically makes it a reboot of ss1, just with a slightly different setting and more mature characters AND we get to see their story unfold again; maybe even into a different direction. Which?? I like?? a lot?? 🙈 like yes, it was a little confusing at first but after accepting the new concept for what it is, I really enjoyed it.

So yeah sorry if i’m rambling but I’m just thinking out loud. I understand where the critical voices are coming from though; We were all anticipating a sequel to ss1, but looking at it as a reboot/new edition-kinda situation, rather than a messed up continuation makes it better imo. So yeah. I guess it’s an unpopular opinion but. I like it ;) Let’s see how the season continues!

ult. group questions! (i am sorry this is SO late)

i’ll tag @heartshxkr and @woozisnoots (to support the meteor garden watching group!) and anyone else who would like to do this!

directions: answer the following questions based on your ult group(s).

I actually have 5 ult groups, but for this, i’ll stick with my main ones: bts and seventeen!

1) who as your first bias?

bts: surprisingly to me, my first bias was namjoon, and he was also my first ever kpop bias. I'm pretty sure he became my bias because he was the only member I recognized for the first two weeks before I learned the other member's names

svt: if I am remembering correctly, it was either jihoon or minghao. though, the first member to catch my eye was jun in the don't wanna cry music video.

2) who is your bias now?

bts: seokjin! he created my bias type (for bgs); vocalists, and members of hyung lines. I just love how funny he is and how he isn't afraid to do anything (like cut his hair with kitchen scissors when the company refuses to let him cut his hair)

svt: ...there are five of them. in order, soonyoung, jun, wonwoo, jihoon and seungcheol. basically, the 96 line and the leader line. though, they do fight over the top spot a lot, especially jun and soonyoung. though after silent boarding gate, I think jun might be #1

3) what is the first ever mv you watched by them?

bts: it was dope! since it was in october of 2017, i'm really confused how it wasn't dna. but my first three were dope, save me and spring day!

svt: don't wanna cry! also in october of 2017. I think the first three were don't wanna cry, boom boom and adore u? I don't really remember the 2nd and 3rd ones lol

4) what's your favorite mv?

bts: hands down, spring day. not only is it my favorite era and song by them, but it was also the time of grape joon and that must never be forgotten. though, stay gold and hearbeat are close seconds.

svt: ...do I have to pick? I guess i'll say; change up (because i'm a leader line stan), fallin' flower (because it's freaking beautiful), oh my! (because that's my favorite era) and don't wanna cry (because it's the first mv I saw).

5) if you could listen to one of their songs for the rest of your life, which would it be?

bts: maybe...heartbeat? I just really like the song and the mv is amazing! if I couldn't pick heartbeat, I think i'd pick fly to my room

svt: either moonwalker, call call call, rocket or no f.u.n. I am very bad at picking one song lol. but I wouldn't mind listening to any of these for the rest of my life

6) who would you want to see them collab with?

bts: I actually have the same answers for both groups, but i'll say one for each. so the first option is TROYE SIVAN. I ~love~ louder than bombs, and to have them actually create a song together would be so freaking amazing I would cry.

svt: the second option is 5 Seconds of Summer. I think it would be really cool to see either bts or svt work with 5sos and make a rock/pop punk genre song, since that is pretty different compared to what both groups make.

7) what mv concept do you want to see them do?

bts: I really want to see them do something similar to maniac by conan grey or universe by exo? i'm a sucker for those types of songs and seeing bts do that would be amazing.

svt: i'm thinking something along the lines of view by shinee / 4 walls by f(x). I really like those styles and I think svt could pull it off.

8) have you ever had a dream with any of the members in it?

bts: I know for a fact I had a dream with yoongi in it once, like a year ago, but I can't remember what happened in it for the life of me

svt: after watching silent boarding gate the day it was released I had a dream similar to that mv, but I was obvs the girl in the mv and I didn't leave jun cause I could never do that to him

9) if you could spend the day with one member, who would it be, and what would you do?

bts: i would absolutely love to spend a day with seokjin. not only because he is my bias, but because he just seems so fun and energetic and I want to hang out with someone who can make me laugh and act chaotic.

svt: ...i have an idea for each of my biases so because I can't pick here they all are; with seungcheol, i'd want to go on a midnight drive to nowehere, kinda like my drabble, all my love. with jun, all I could think about is a cat cafe date...just...ugh I would love that. with soonyoung, I would love to go to karaoke or an arcade. he just seems so fun to hang out with, so we’d need to so somewhere that we can be chaotic. with wonu, I would love to go to one of those HUGE libraries and just kind of explore and read. lastly, with jihoon, I would love for him to teach me how to produce music. I’ve always had an interest in that and having someone like jihoon teach me, I would cry.

10) which member do you think you would get on best with?

bts: either yoongi or jungkook, tbh. with yoongi, we’re both pretty quiet, but we can also be loud and we have similar personalities. with jungkook, we both like games and have a lot of interests and we’d definitely be able to have a long discussion about the things we love.

svt: most likely either chan or seungkwan. chan and I are both used to being the youngest when with friends and we’re sick of it lmao. with seungkwan, I feel like we’d playfully argue a lot? and I do that with my friends anyway so I think we’d get a long like we’ve been friends forever.

11) which member would you think you would argue with?

bts: most likely taehyung, I think we’d end up arging over whether we are arguing or having a discussion. we’re just kinda like that I guess lol.

svt: hands down, jeonghan. I would fight him in a heartbeat whether there was a purpose or not or whether it was verbally or physically. there is just something about him and his slytherin energy (let’s ignore the fact that i am also a slytherin).

12) if you had to choose one member to scroll through your tumblr, who would it be?

bts: probably jimin or yoongi. jimin would just laugh at everything and yoongi would just silently judge me.

svt: either vernon or jihoon. vernon would most likely say something along the lines of “you do you” and move on with his day, and jihoon would be similar to yoongi, but instead of silently judging me, he’d say everything he’s thinking out loud. rip.

Aah it’s okk. I’ll try my best to explain :D. It might just be my Orbit paranoia but so many things have gone wrong with Loona’s comeback that I’m kind of convinced theres a conspiracy. I’m not a pro at charting, distributing and all this but here’s what I understand. This might be a little long so buckle up. TL;DR AT THE BOTTOM

For some background: as you might know, Loona changed their publisher to Kakao M for this new repackage. It’s a pretty big deal and Orbits were Really excited about this development since Kakao M is a rather large label. They’ve been around for a long time - since 1978. They handle big artists like IU and they’ve been the distributer of some albums you might know, for example CLC’s No.1 EP and Seventeen’s Mini Album, You Made My Dawn’. I’m choosing these examples because they will come into play later on. Another thing that might be related (this is all just conspiracies) but a certain group that is promoting at the same time as Loona is under a certain label that Kakao M owns…

1. So we will start here: Kakao M’s handing of the physicals. [X X]’s physical album releases were delayed, with the Normal A vers. being delayed to 21st so today and Normal B and BOTH of the Limited vers. being delayed till the 26th. This happened because Kakao M either underestimated the demand or basically the number of pre-orders were so absurd that they couldn’t have possibly predicted it (I’m leaning more towards the former). This is a problem, 1, because well, it’s delayed and 2, because affects the sales charts for the first week of sales which do have an impact on qualifications for music shows and we really want our girls to get the awards they deserve - it already has affected international charting and Hanteo/Gaon charts as well. The fact that a company that’s been around since 1978 made a mistake like this seems pretty unlikely. Call me biased but well! (also if you’re a conspiracy theorist, the release of the two limiteds and vers. B of [X X] aren’t released until the comeback of a certain group thats Pretty Big on a label that Kakao M owns…)

2. iTunes was the next problem. After reaching #1 on the album charts, suddenly, people weren’t able to buy [X X] anymore. ??? So Nai_Orbit on twitter reached out to iTunes who informed us that Kakao M had decided to take the option of labelling [X X] as an album away, instead, forcing people to buy songs individually instead. Now, you could argue, well isn’t [X X] an EP, it’s not really an album anyways but! CLC’s No.1 was an EP which was released, hit #1 on the album charts and is still sold on iTunes as an album. I’m not attacking CLC in anyway, I’m just stating that this doesn’t happen to other artists normally. In the end, they’ve fixed this and now you can buy the EP as an album but this affected out chartings. The hours Orbits could’ve used to stream was lost and hours might not seem like a lot but consider the fact that the Butterfly MV reached 100K views in half an hour.

3. Ah. More streaming issues, when will this end. The next problem comes Spotify. To hurt Loona’s charting performance even more comes Spotify, who did add [X X] but… under the wrong artist…? Turns out, theres another Loona out there. A Loona, not a LOOΠΔ who also coincidentally has a song named Colors which I found pretty funny but I digress. Now you see, [X X] wasn’t with the rest of their discography so people couldn’t find it at the start which definitely affects streaming because how do you stream when you can’t even find the album. In addition to this MNET COMES BACK AGAIN. Spotify can’t change the metadata of artist names etc. until the distributer gives them a greenlight so it wasn’t really even Spotify’s fault. Both the problems here with Spotify along with iTunes affects the charting on Billboard for Loona.

4. mnet skipped posting loona’s performance on mcountdown even though they posted all of the perfomance videos in succession on their youtube channel. like they just skipped.. literally. A fancam was posted before the official channel. Some korbits have given them the benefit of the doubt by saying there was a mistake with the captions, delaying upload by hours but in the end, the mistake wasn’t even fixed. I don’t think this has happened before with other groups (but again, I’m not an expert on this). Expectations for the comeback stage led to Loona trending #1 in Korea but even then, mnet did not upload the video until around 3 hours later when most of the hype had already died down and most people had viewed it through the fancam. The fancam got 60k views in an hour. M Countdown charts are calculated by digital sales, album sales, social media points aka. youtube views, voting and “mnet broadcast points”. So I think it’s safe to say this was affected. Another thing which vexed Orbits is that the Mwave youtube channel decided to comment ‘Just watching this again and again…’ on the fancam instead of you know? Doing their job and uploading the video on their own damn channel??? It’s on there now but again, that was hours of streaming we missed.

These are some of the big issues that we’ve faced 1-2 DAYS within the release of [X X]. That’s a huge amount of problems, many of which stem from mnet. IF this was truly intentional then they’re really threatened by us. In addition to this there were small other problems as well, including big accounts like Entertainment Tonight with 1M followers randomly deleting their tweet promoting Butterfly out of nowhere, Youtube views being frozen (but that’s normal for all videos so we won’t talk about that much), SMAs suddenly deciding for the first time since Forever™ to limit ROTY to only 2 artists, eliminating Loona from the competition even though we won fanvoting in the app. The MAMA fiasco where votes were deleted and where their performance was cut off. Yeojin and Yves getting injured which wasn’t their fault but added to the ‘cursed’ nature of this comeback.

I guess all of this culminated in this

TL;DR Kakao M delayed distribution of [X X] BOTH in physicals and the digital versions, affecting their ability to chart and the chances of them winning awards. But we Orbits will prevail. Just keep on streaming and supporting Loona so they get their first win and all the wins after that. Stan Loona!
