karate dōjō, boxing gym (or maybe a ymca type vibe), and a freelance office

another lot fully built. only one more lot on this street before i start furnishing. i just liked the dojo so much that i had to furnish it straight away so there’s pictures of that. i had trouble photographing this lot honestly. i like it a lot, but i feel like pictures don’t really capture how it feels in game?? idk.

i was really just spitballing when it came to the exteriors. i played around until i liked it. in detroit there are a lot of strip malls that look similar but then there are also some with unique looking roofs. so i tried to embody that. the dōjō and the (maybe) boxing gym are like a mini strip mall and the freelance office is a building right before the strip mall starts (you see that in detroit/michigan a lot too).

longwinded but i literally love working on this save. it’s like my baby.

i think i'm once again changing miya/yuhi's character.

i cant let go of the name miya, clearly, so i'll be switching back to that. but tamayose is staying (so tamayose miya now).

everything new about their story can stay; however, i'm going back to them primarily having a water quirk. i think i'm gonna have the ancestral ki still be their thing, but their other ki's are gonna be locked forever and/or they'll be passed down through their kids.

i'm also still teetering between strictly using they/them pronouns or going back to she/they, because i keep using fem pronouns since remake miya is back to being more fem 💀 i wanna use she/her primarily again, but that doesnt feel right either lmao i guess i will use she/they pronouns and whichever gets used will get used.

i'm also still playing around with miya's appearance. i've kinda been wanting to lean more into them appearing more alien-like, but i also still wanna keep her being blasian somehow bc that's my/their brand atp.

here's a design i kinda solidified a little while ago. i wanna make their skin a darker blue like usual, though.

also, i tried making their outfits more funky & fun, but the warping can be so bad on zepeto when you have different body types other than the presets.

i also imagine miya to be chubbier than this, but alas. i cant wait until i get a new laptop so i can play the sims again and make them (and the rest of their classmates) again.

oh yeah, i think i wanna change miya's hair to be something like this:

but curlier & longer mayhaps. i'm gonna go sicko mode on pinterest later looking for other refs.
