💡placed on sandy run in newcrest

💡each building is equipped with a food stall, so it’s kinda like indivual restaurants [“american”, sulani, mt. komorebi, and batuu]

💡newcrest populous usually spends founder’s day here. fire works, street galleries, all the works

:: culture square was a project headed by jun sato, a mt. komorebi native, and mayor roman legune. it was erected to be a point where people could experience different cultures without having to pay money to fly across the world. each vendor is run and managed by natives of the culture.

bruh the TIME i had tryna choose photos for this post. i’m obsessed with this lot. it works best in combination with littlemssams automatic employee mod, but you definitely don’t NEED it for this lot to be functional. you would just have to pay for each vendor individually to show up.

wip: Passage Marina - bakery without a name yet

I'm awfully happy at my bakery!! Also, the baguette is the one from the Chateau set by Felixandre. I am slightly annoyed that I couldn't find any bread in debug. I TOOL-ed my way to make it look like my average bakery (I live in France by the way). This is by no mean functional, it's not supposed to be. But it's a cozy place and I like it! (Also don't mind the exterior of the last pic, the electricity box thingy should go away or I should find a less obnoxious swatch for it) (and yes I changed the door on the left of the window of the exterior pic)

San Myshuno MoMA

San Myshuno Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is the place to be if you're looking to increase your painting skills and looking for inspiration, or if you just want to take in some beautiful works of art for a few hours.

I'm very hesitant to do Community Lots because they still are a tad bit overwhelming to me, but I sat down on Saturday and tackled this bad boy. I did some perusing (Google is great for that), and got some inspiration from the exterior of the Queensland Art Gallery in Brisbane, Australia. The Hubby and I would love to go to Australia one day (we have a love for their psycho Cattle Dogs, too), so he approved of this build and gave me some ideas of how to incorporate ventilation and gave me the idea for solar panels and skylights on the roof. The Hubby, who thinks The Sims is a little silly (he's more of a console than PC gamer), even said he appreciated "the realism of the rounded duct work" from the Industrial Loft Kit. #ConstructionEngineerWifeLife

Anywhoser, I think this turned out really really well. When I grabbed Daisy Lockhart to play test everything out, I was THRILLED that more than three Sims were on the lot actually viewing the paintings and taking turns at the easels in the back. Hopefully, the MoMA will get a lot of visitors in the future!

I'm having a lot of trouble deciding which area of this build is my favorite, but I'm going to be silly and say that all of it is my favorite!

willow creek gym & spa

hi everyone! i built a gym / spa in willow creek for my save file.

about the lot:

the bottom floor is the gym, lots of treadmills, punching bags, and lifting stations?? (is that what they are?) theres a spa on the top floor where you can get your nails done or a nice foot/hand massage, and also some tables fore regualr massages too. also upstairs, theres a yoga room where your sims can take classes or practice yoga on their own. in the back of the gym, theres a basketball court and a tiny little mediation area for your sims to realx after a long day of work or dealing with three toddlers (100 baby challeneg players im looking at you.)

The wonderful Ly family in Willow Creek was lovingly created for the save by @cowplant-snacks. All other neighbors were made by me, you can meet all of them here! Pets are from Pugowned, misc. townies from @cowplant-snacks and @simsontherope on the gallery.

There's lots of little details and things to explore, both around the world and relationship wise, so I'm excited to see what y'all uncover. Please feel free to @theneighborhoodsave in your posts or tag #theneighborhoodsave. I'd love to see what your sims are up to!

I also want to say thank you to anyone who's appreciated this creative journey with me. This save feels like home to me and y'all have supported me every step of the way!

The save is 100% CC free! Please note that I do have all expansions, packs, and kits (except for Castle Estate, Goth Galore + Crystal Creations.) For any items you don't own the game will try to auto find replacements for those items. The file is mostly blank this time around but does include the original EA builds in university and vacation type worlds (sans Granite Falls.)

Included is a folder of completely optional skin details/eyelashes for the neighbor sims. Thank you to @faaeish, @pyxiidis, @tamo-sim, and @landgraabbed! There are 4 pieces of CC I cannot include in the folder due to creator TOU. Please check the included "Read Me" file for more information.

All builds and families are up on the gallery (@sweetbeagaming) + tray files have been shared here.

If you've never used a save file and need help installing it, I highly recommend this tutorial by @leeleebsimming.

⚠️ A couple of disclaimers here due to some existing EA bugs. EDIT 4/25: Included in that link are directions on how to avoid TOOL'd items from disappearing. If you want to keep powerlines and such please check this out! ⚠️

Everything was tested to work around these, but I wanted to put them out there as an FYI.

TOU: Please don't reupload my save/builds/sims, claim as your own, and absolutely do not paywall them. Other than that feel free to build your own Neighborhood stories however you'd like!

ATTN: Just popping by to say that if you are purchasing the new kits today - particularly the Urban Homage kit - be sure to use the creator code "EBONIX" at checkout!

Collab creators do not make any percentage of the revenue after release, they're just paid a flat rate up front, so if you want a little of the proceeds to go to the creator, use code "EBONIX" at checkout (it costs you nothing!!!). Also worth noting that because they had some issues with codes in the app today, creators will apparently receive 10% commission instead of 5% commission the next 48 hrs. (LilSimsie shared this in her overview video!)

midtown roller rink

furnished and functional babyyyy! this was kind of difficult since most roller rinks mostly consists of lockers and seating areas.

there’s hella vending machines and hella seats. this build took so long because i wanted it to double as a lot type that spawns sims, but none of them really worked with my vision. i decided to settle on generic because i think i would bring a party/group of sims here (birthday, boys night, teen hang out, etc). even if i had made it a different lot type, the sims barely would’ve used the rink anyway. gotta work with what i’m given🫡

any how, i love it. the interior doesn’t match northland in detroit but the exterior does and that’s what matters.

custom content is posters, whiteboard, cars, and arcade machines.

when i finish the save, i’ll post a whole list + links of the cc i used. doing it individually is too much of a hassle and i’m lazy so. in the meantime, i you don’t care about those pieces of cc, it’s up on the gallery (or will be shortly). @SimmerLJK

Torendi Salon & Spa

Torendi Salon & Spa has a priceless view of the Fashion District and is THE place to go for all of your self care needs!

This lot is equipped with stylist stations, manicure/pedicure chairs, massage and meditation rooms, yoga studios, a large hot tub, and an outdoor bar and lounge area. I decided to go with a modern, minimalist vibe, with cooler tones on the interior to match the exterior, and warmed it up a tad with some greenery, candles and artwork. Out of all the amenities, the massage and meditation rooms are definitely my favorites.

I finally figured out my NPC spawning issue, so it was nice to see Sims coming and being pampered by the staff!
