Here’s another random AU, this time Genshin style! Honestly thinking of changing the ages back to them be around the same age Hummbird Kaeya cause why not (he came out more blue then I wanted)

Diluc just trying his best to run the winery but every time he goes out to harvest grapes the basket always ends up empty. Random items around the winery are going missing. Not to mention multiple break ins, random damaged furniture, and the constant food shortage. Although he knew living out further away from the city meant more wildlife he didn’t think it would become this big of an issue.

Kaeya is a young hummbird whose on his own, just trying to survive. He hasn’t yet learned how to fly and still has some of his baby feathers (which makes it harder to be out in the elements since baby feathers don’t protect against harsh conditions). Exhausted after constantly running from hunters and missing another day of food, he stumbled upon a red hair human who was picking grapes. He took the grapes when the human wasn’t looking, soon he quickly learned about the food and warmth inside the human’s building. So he stayed close by and would go inside at night, taking whatever food he found (he also happened to have discovered that chewing on the furniture relaxed him). However he always stayed out of sight from the red hair human, in fear that he may be killed.

I wanted to do a little reverse roles with my Hummbird AU at least once, mostly as an excuse to draw a Bakugou hummbird

I decided to go with a phoenix for him, I feel like it’s more fitting for him. But instead of going with a normal phoenix, I decided to go based off of an original concept of a phoenix from a story I’m writing. He’s what's called a guardian phoenix. These type of hummbirds tend to be more docile IF treated right and raised correctly. If not, they are the scariest type of hummbird that can/will kill within seconds on sight

Since I'm not doing the little comic in color I decided to do a separate clean sketch with color.

Yes, Deku does hatch as a grayish color (the eyes included) then eventually turns green. The grey color is a sign of weak or unhealthy hatchlings for this species.

Update for both my Hummingbird Deku and Fairy Deku AU!

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting much of these two AUs recently. What happened was that I accidentally cut my finger on my dominate hand was was unable to use it till it healed. This happened back in the end of July. The cut was a little deep and required about 14 to 17 stiches, I think it was 17. That took about two-ish months to heal and a while more to stop feeling nerve pain. It still kinda hurts but it’s a lot better.

During that time I was healing, my metal state kinda went down hill. I’ve been dealing with bad anxiety and stress. That in turn affected my art. I am loosing motivation. And my view on my art was already negative but it’s gotten a little worse. I no longer want to post anything and is slowing giving up on my art dream. BUT I’m still drawing and refusing to let myself give up (wish I can tell you why but honestly I don’t know)

NOW FOR THE ACTUAL AU UPDATE!!

Both AUs are on hold for now. I made these two AUs for fun and wish to keep them as something I enjoy and not work.

I might draw random art of the Fairy AU every now and then. There was never a actual story made for this AU so there’s nothing I can work off of.

For the Hummingbird/Hummbird AU I might do the next parts when I feel up to it and have time. I honestly made the AU as a “ask to continue” thing but ended up really enjoying it. So I do plan on continuing it but only when I get the motivation.

ALSO KEEP IN MIND This is not the only thing I’m working on!

I have a larger project I’m working on that takes most of my time and work. I’m currently working on an original story. As of right now, I’m in the process of making touches on the world and practicing/learning how to do manga panels. I’m practicing on a short. The short is part of the same world but is the backstory of one of the background characters instead of one of the mains (yes, there are two main characters in the actual story)
