I really want to draw something meaty and put some characters into The Situations but I am dealing with a double whammy of art block and some REALLY insane migraine/Sinus issues the past 3 or 4 days.

So all I managed was a quick Solana. I wanted to give her a cool leg prosthetic but then I didn't really draw her legs sdjfdsjkfsdhf So that's the level of cognitive function I am dealing with at the moment

Fun fact! I really dislike a lot of the female turian design! So I just... ignored the parts I disliked lol.

So our blood is red because of the iron in it.

Which is ironic considering how turians, the race with literal metalic face plates, don't have any in their blood.Or maybe it's copper that gives it the blue colour? But still, copper against iron?

For Salarians, we also could've had green blood! We have the chemicals for it. But the iron in our blood is stronger and overshadows it, so we ended up with a reddish brown. They weren't joking when they said humans are too genetically diverse.

Because of our blood, we evolved to find red very eyecatching. Think of a really vibrant red and how painful it is to stare it. Warning red signs, letters written in red.

And we find blue very relaxing, it's the most picked favourite colour in humans. Because of the blue sky and the ocean, we find blue to be softer on the eyes.

Would turians experience it backwards? Think red is very subtle and soft like we view blue? Think red warning signs should be painted blue instead to really set in an alarm response? Would their favourite colour also be red?

Would salarians prefer green leafy plants to roses and flowers? Would they think a tree is more beautiful than a red rose bush? Would they prefer green lipstick to red? Green clothes are considered more romantic than red ones?
