RP memes from Reddit 11/1/2023-11/3/2023
“It's weird how we've never seen a dinosaur ghost, even though billions of them died in very gruesome ways.”
“Ghosts and the dead returning and impacting our lives and environment have been something that humans have believed in for many centuries.” “Hot take: we can only see the ghosts of the type of animal that we are. Eg: humans can only see humans. Cats can only see cats.” “So I guess this was all illegal?” “Degenerate philistines, all of you.” "You're going to post that, aren't you?" “A simple “I didn’t feel a connection, but I wish you the best!” Would have sufficed.” “A badly played instrument is always funny.” “Is this why humans prey on baby seals? For the soft fur?” “How do I ethically get to feel this floof?” “There’s no confusion in my mind. Just desire.” “All these apprentices falling for horny magic and wondering why we don’t treat them equally.” “Human society is not much different from the social groups of most other animals in terms of how it functions.” “It has been repeatedly established that Lynda Carter has always been hot.”
“Sharing is caring and teamwork makes the dream work.” “There’s still hope for this world.” “Disgusting humans.” “Nature is so gnarly.” “Get scattered, dorks.” “That’s something straight out of a soap opera.” “Cheeky little bugger.” “This didn’t look ridiculous at the time.” “Call the company and explain or preferably fill in a complaint form. This is serious stuff to them, they'll reimburse you and investigate.” “Yeah, that's a serious quality control issue.” “She told everyone that I ‘emotionally stole’ her cat from her. And I did. And I regret nothing.” “I always propose on the first date. Just to keep her guessing.” “A good therapist helps you be accountable and become a better you while working through what holds you back from doing so yourself.” “There is absolutely no way that a problem has occurred on this planet without it somehow being my fault. I’m the reason kids are starving in Africa.” “Do you know what we are looking at? Would it infect my brain?” “I had to take a parasitology class. I haven’t had sushi since.” “What's worse than finding a whole parasite? Finding half a parasite.” “Your son sucks.” “Broke people being jealous of successful people is a tale as old as time.” ““I google house prices and target the higher value ones for gains.” “if I was a vampire and I still had acid reflux I would commit wooden stake instantly.” “Yep, looks like humans to me.”

ND for NT? Neurodivergence in National Treasure
(Abigail Chase Edition) -- Pt 2
Last time we started looking at how Abigail compares to Rudy Simone's list of questions about Autism in women & other high maskers.
Now we'll do the other two parts.
Part 3 “Emotions/Physical”
→ Emotionally immature and emotionally sensitive
Sensitive, perhaps. Immature? She seems to be handling the breakup much more maturely than Ben.
→ Anxiety and fear are predominant emotions
Not seeing this in canon.
→ More open to talking about feelings and emotional issues than males with AS
Maybe? She is the one to press on the "why are you like this?" question in the dressing room.
→ Strong sensory issues - sounds, sights, smells, touch, and prone to overload. (Less likely to have taste/food textures issues as males)
The best case I can make for this is probably the Reading Terminal Market chase scene. She immediately hides somewhere cool and quiet (behind the meat counter). Then she gets jump-scared by Riley when she’s hiding in the flowers.
→ Moody and prone to bouts of depression. May have been diagnosed as bipolar or manic depressive (common comorbids of autism/AS) while the AS diagnosis was missed
No canon evidence.
→ Probably given several different prescriptions to treat symptoms. Will be very sensitive to medications and anything else she puts in her body so may have had adverse reactions
No canon evidence.
→ 9 out of 10 have mild to severe gastrointestinal difficulties  - e.g. ulcers, acid reflux, IBS, etc.
No canon evidence, but this would be interesting!
→ Stims to soothe when sad or agitated: rocking, face-rubbing, humming, finger-flicking, leg bouncing, finger or foot-tapping, etc.
No? Riley does more of this than anyone else in the group.
→ Similarly physical when happy: hand flapping, clapping, singing, jumping, running around, dancing, bouncing
Not really? Even when they find the treasure she’s pretty still.
→ Prone to temper or crying meltdowns, even in public, sometimes over seemingly small things due to sensory or emotional overload
Not that we see.
→ Hates injustice and hates to be misunderstood; this can incite anger and rage
You could consider her rift with Ben in BoS as part of this.
→ Prone to mutism when stressed or upset, esp. after a meltdown. Less likely to stutter than male counterparts but may have a raspy voice, monotone at times, when stressed or sad
She can come across as a little monotone, but that could also be the combo of her accent and personality.
Part 4: “Social Relationships”
→ Words and actions are often misunderstood by others
Well they’re definitely misunderstood by Ben, but that might be a Ben problem.
→ Perceived to be cold-natured and self-centered; unfriendly
Yes. See “mean Declaration lady”
→ Is very outspoken at times, may get fired up when talking about passions/obsessive interests
Ask her about Thomas Jefferson I dare you. In all seriousness, I think the way she thanks Ben at the gala is pretty indicative of this. Her close-to-the-vest composure evaporates when she admits in a rather youthful, indulgent way that she’s keeping the GW button because she “really wants it.”
→ Can be very shy or mute
Ben and the henchmen all think she talks a lot but I think she’s just, like…a woman who dares to have an opinion on the high stakes situation she’s involved in?
→ Like her male counterpart, will shut down in social situations once overloaded, but is generally better at socializing in small doses. May even give the appearance of skilled, but it is a ‘performance’
I will cite the gala again.
→ Doesn’t go out much. Will prefer to go out with partner only or children if she has them
We never meet anyone that she’s close to other than her assistant (work friend) and Stan (work enemy). So very possibly true.
→ Will not have many girlfriends and will not do ‘girly’ things like shopping with them or get-togethers to ‘hang-out’
We never see Abigail close to any women outside of work. She’s close enough with her assistant to gripe about Stan, and she knows the event planner by name. We also see her interact with Emily, but they seem cordial, not like they’re getting brunch on the weekends. Other than that its dates (whats-his-face from Book of Secrets) and business meetings (Mitch) with men.
Lol National Treasure does not even come close to passing the Bechdel Test
→ Will have a close friend or friends in school, but not once adulthood is reached
See above, until Ben and Riley.
→ May or may not want to have a relationship. If she is in a relationship, she probably takes it very seriously but she may choose to remain celibate or alone
I will refer you to the deep dive on Ben and Abigail’s relationship for more detailed analysis, but yeah I’d say Abigail takes their relationship seriously. Actually, I think it’s because she takes it seriously that she leaves Ben when he’s not respecting her input. Also, my personal headcanon is that it took Abigail almost the entire time between discovering the treasure and the “Three months later” scene to actually warm up to the idea of dating Ben. She does not strike me as someone who starts relationships easily or casually. I think it would take a lot more than a kiss in the catacombs to convince her to take that leap.
→ Due to sensory issues, will either really enjoy sex or strongly dislike it
Umm…all I can say to this is that National Treasure is a very sexless movie. (Which is fine by me lmao) Ben and Abigail’s flirtation is much more intellectual than physical.
→ If she likes a male, she can be extremely, noticeably awkward in her attempts to let him know, e.g. she may stare when she sees him or call him repeatedly. This is because she fixates and doesn’t understand social gender roles. This will change with maturity
I think Abigail is on the other side of this, so it's hard to say what she used to be like.
→ Often prefers the company of animals but not always due to sensory issues
I don’t consider Edge of History a particularly reputable source of canon, but I'll allow the dog.
Conclusion
Hmm, Abigail was knocking it out of the neurodiversity park on the two categories in Part 1. Here she's more middle of the road.
While there were a few strong "yes"s, there's also just so much we don't know about her personal life and her past. As with Ben, we only get to spend time with Abigail during the two most chaotic weeks of her life.
In short, I think there is plenty of fodder for reading Abigail as Autistic. For me personally, I take to that reading more easily than Ben. In any case, there is so much here for fics and headcanons.
What are some of your favs?
What did I miss?

I always thought that saeran would have issues with real medicine due to rika telling him the elixir would heal him. He knows real medicine is good but I wouldn't change how he felt. Things like advil to an extent and especially any psychiatric medication.
I wonder if reading ingredients would help
That's a reasonable thought, too! He actually does take medicine for headaches and has consistently for a while but that's about the only thing we know that he takes. He mentioned that he's taking medicine during his After Ending so I can only assume that he means that it's a part of the lingering process of trying to flush elixir from his system. I don't know for sure, though.
I don't think he's going to jump to other medication soon even if it's needed. I think the doctors he's working with thanks to Jumin can do the best they can for him, treating him for the burnout from elixir and guiding him to slowly reintroduce healthy meals and other things into his life. That's not a one-step process. He's learning how to take care of himself from scratch all over again. He does know what's in those bottles of elixir, though!
He knew how to make them and how to make a fake one. So, you're right, maybe reading what goes into medicine might help him if he ever feels uncomfortable. He might say he's okay, but I know what it must feel like for him... medicine is a touchy subject since Rika told him that everything he took would fix him. It's natural for him to be wary. I've got a lot of thoughts on this.
I know his stomach has to be struggling, too. He hardly eats right and I know that because Ray told me what he was eating in his diary. It's mostly energy bars, chocolate, water, and caffeine pills. If he had a meal that wasn't that, it's because he had to with Rika and I assume she makes him do that every few days. The elixir likely did damage to his esophagus and stomach lining, fyi. I just know my baby has acid reflux and worse because of what he's had to go through in life.

annual music post.
12 Days of Aniblogging 2022, Day 6
I am sick.
No, it’s not covid. My immune system and I have been doing a remarkably good job of dodging covid, all things considered. Nor is it any of the other 8 respiratory infections going around this winter. It’s something in my gut, and I’ve been dealing with it for quite some time now.
Back in October of last year, my acid reflux meds stopped working, leaving me with soreness and the lingering sensation of something in the back of my throat. My gastroenterologist wasn’t able to help and by January I was dealing with the new terrible symptoms of generalized abdominal pain and constant burping.
After months of delays due to the medical system collapsing from covid, I finally got some important tests done in May. They confirmed that the problems were real and esophageal in nature, but ultimately did not help one bit with trying to figure out how to treat them.
As this year has gone on, things have gotten slowly worse. The stomach pain has gradually intensified, as has the belching. More and more foods started giving me indigestion until finally it’s just every meal, no matter what. Some grosser symptoms which I don’t want to write out crept up on me. It’s no good, and while I’ve gotten my shit together and am much better at working with doctors, I’m no closer to being well.
If I hadn’t lucked out in being able to work from home, I would definitely be out of job and money by now. How am I supposed to be professional when I belch for hours after every meal? Or when I need to lie down for hours a day in pain? It’s as embarrassing as it is life-ruining.
_
When you’re in hell, and want to listen to music, there are two different routes you can go down:
Seek out the most downcast, most abrasive stuff you can handle and wallow in it.
Immerse yourself in fluffy, happy, relaxing, or otherwise escapist songs.
I’m really good at the former! If my previous music writeups and Spotify years-in-review are any indication, my taste leans strongly towards the negative emotions. But there’s only so much despair you can take, and sometimes you need a change of pace. So this year, I’ll be writing about the musical niche I carved out: Japanese musicians with English-language releases, most of which are a significant tonal shift from my usual.
Flipper’s Guitar
Tumblr media
This is Keigo Oyamada’s band from before his work as Shibuya-kei legend Cornelius, and I feel like a lot of people gloss over them for that exact reason. But Flipper’s Guitar is a real delight throughout their quick 3-album run. Their first album is sung entirely in English, owing to its inspirations in 60’s American music and 80’s British jangle pop. It’s straightforward and cheerful stuff executed perfectly, and the second album is a solid rerun of these ideas but with more of it sung in Japanese. It’s their final album which is the most interesting, as it’s an eclectic mix with more of a psychedelic dance-pop sound that seems to have directly led to the development of Shibuya-kei. There’s even a shoegaze song for good measure! This album isn’t on streaming services, probably because of its extensive sampling, so the easiest way to listen to it was a Youtube upload by now-terminated channel Asian Shoegaze. The thing is, they fucked up and accidentally uploaded the tracks in alphabetical order. After listening through both this and the original track listing, I’m actually of the opinion that the alphabetical version flows better. Life is funny like that.
Poison Girl Friend
Tumblr media
You know how the Spotify algorithm will occasionally propel an obscure musician into millions of streams? That’s how most people discovered Poison Girl Friend this year, similar to how Youtube turned Plastic Love into a decades-late international hit a few years back. But I, being a weirdo, knew about Poison Girl Friend years ago, from her being inspired by pervert pop artist Momus (her stage name is a reference to the second Momus album!). Her debut album, all self-produced, has a spacey trip-hop sound to it, right on the dial for 1992. The breathy vocals and relaxed tempos lead to an excellent atmosphere, with THOSE WERE THE DAYS getting stuck in my head the most.
In what should be a success story, Poison Girl Friend successfully caught the attention of Momus, who went on to produce her second album. The thing is, compared to her own work, his production here is dogshit! Never meet your heroes, I guess, especially when they’re Nick Currie.
Coaltar of the Deepers
Tumblr media
not their best album, but easily the one with the best art
Oh man, these guys are legit. If my description of the final Flipper’s Guitar album made it come off as an eclectic genre mashup, then this band is downright overwhelming. We’ve got band members who are really into noise rock and abrasive metal. Others are clearly here for the shoegaze. And finally, there’s the one guy on synths who does electronica that sound like it’s destined for Ape Escape. Their early works jump between all of these from track to track at a breakneck pace, but they finally release a more coherently organized album with 2007’s Yukari Telepath. It starts off with some of the most aggressive metal you’ve ever heard, which gradually softens into shoegaze as the album goes on, with some spectacular dreamy electronica in the middle. When the breaks in Aquarian Age come on, or the jaw-dropping xylophone solos later on, you will understand.
Coaltar of the Deepers have a bunch of side projects with different lineups, and as expected they lean into the strengths of the members working on them. There’s the hardcore BP, glitchy electronica Watchman, and more atmospheric Sadesper Record. The CotD extended universe been one hell of a rabbit-hole to fall down, but they’ve kept me very busy.
Honorable Mention: Shonen Knife
Yellow Loveless is mostly a wash, but Shonen Knife’s cover of When You Sleep is better than the original.
_
I’ve spent most of this past year miserable. My physical health has decimated my mental health, and it’s bad enough that I couldn’t ignore the problems even if I wanted to. I’ve shied away from considering myself chronically ill so far, but when I write it all out and reflect on just how much all of this lowers my quality of life, it gets a bit more imaginable as a way to understand myself as I currently am.
One silver lining to all this trying meds and running tests and failing to be diagnosed is that we’ve eliminated a lot of the scariest possibilities. No cancer, no allergies, nothing that would show up on an abdominal CT scan, and my lungs are powerful and sexy and not the source of my intermittent breathing problems I forgot to mention earlier. I’m not going anywhere. But at the same time, it’s hard for me to even conceptualize a future where I continue to feel like this every day, for years or decades on end. I have to get better. In the words of Sufjan Stevens, I want to be well.
Hopefully next year’s music post comes with good news alongside the good tunes.

I really fucking hate how expensive it is man. Like almost $200 at Target for like basics for self care and the house. Nothing fun except some dog treats. Like I’m sorry I don’t want to but the cheapest shit that is loaded with chemicals and bad ingredients. Like why is it a premium to buy products that are just natural ingredients? Jesus.
Oh and what’s the point of coupons sometimes??? Like target had a circle coupon for Zyrtec 90 count ($42 reg) for $10 off so it would have been $32 and I got the store brand 180 count for like $20??
Also don’t get me started on how fucking annoying it is to try to buy treats for my dog who happens to have an allergy to chicken… Did you know that that is the number one allergen for dogs? Fucking chicken. And do you know how many fucking treats out there are supposedly like fruity flavored or just peanut butter that have chicken in them?? Most of them.
These are like separate gripes but like at the same time it’s a fucking pain man.
Oh and my insurance doesn’t want to cover my acid reflux prescription apparently because I need prescription strength instead of just nexium anymore. Luckily they gave a coupon for me so I got 2 months for $17 so 🤷🏼‍♀️. My doctor is fighting them on it at least but still.

GAH I WANT THIS LIFE ALREADY I LOVE MY PARTNER SO MUCH

Harnessing Nature’s Remedies: Exploring Ayurvedic Solutions for Acidity
Introduction: In today’s fast-paced world, gastrointestinal issues like acidity have become increasingly common due to factors such as stress, poor dietary habits, and sedentary lifestyles. While modern medicine offers effective treatments, many individuals seek alternative remedies that are gentle yet potent. Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine, provides a holistic approach to health and offers a plethora of natural solutions for acidity. Let’s delve deeper into the world of Ayurvedic medicine to understand how it addresses acidity effectively.
Subheadings:
Understanding Acidity in Ayurveda: Ayurveda views acidity as a result of an imbalance in the body’s doshas, primarily Pitta dosha. According to Ayurvedic principles, excessive Pitta can lead to the accumulation of acidic substances in the stomach, causing symptoms like heartburn, indigestion, and acid reflux.
The Role of Diet and Lifestyle: Ayurveda emphasizes the importance of diet and lifestyle modifications in managing acidity. Consuming Pitta-pacifying foods such as cooling fruits, vegetables, and herbs can help balance the aggravated dosha. Additionally, practicing stress-relieving techniques like yoga and meditation can prevent Pitta imbalance.
Herbal Remedies for Acidity: Ayurvedic texts abound with herbs renowned for their effectiveness in treating acidity. Some commonly used herbs include:
Amla (Indian Gooseberry): Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, amla helps soothe the stomach lining and reduce acidity.
Licorice (Yashtimadhu): Possessing anti-inflammatory properties, licorice root is beneficial in relieving heartburn and acidity.
Coriander (Dhania): Known for its cooling properties, coriander aids digestion and alleviates acidity symptoms.
Indian Gooseberry (Amalaki): With its high vitamin C content, Indian gooseberry boosts digestion and neutralizes stomach acids.
Ayurvedic Formulations for Acidity: Ayurvedic practitioners often prescribe proprietary formulations tailored to individual needs. These formulations typically combine multiple herbs and natural ingredients to address acidity comprehensively. Examples include:
Avipattikar Churna: A classic Ayurvedic remedy containing herbs like amla, licorice, and cardamom, Avipattikar churna aids digestion and relieves acidity.
Triphala Churna: Comprising three fruits — amla, bibhitaki, and haritaki, Triphala churna detoxifies the digestive system and promotes healthy digestion, thereby reducing acidity.
Ayurvedic Lifestyle Practices: In addition to dietary modifications and herbal remedies, Ayurveda advocates certain lifestyle practices to manage acidity effectively. These include:
Eating mindfully and chewing food thoroughly to aid digestion.
Avoiding excessively spicy, oily, and acidic foods that can aggravate Pitta dosha.
Practicing regular physical exercise to stimulate digestion and maintain overall health.
Ayurvedic Techniques for Digestive Health: Ayurveda offers various techniques to enhance digestive health and prevent acidity. These include:
Abhyanga (Oil Massage): Massaging the abdomen with warm Ayurvedic oils can improve digestion and alleviate symptoms of acidity.
Panchakarma Therapy: This detoxification procedure involves a series of therapeutic treatments to cleanse the body of accumulated toxins, promoting balance and reducing acidity.
Personalized Approach in Ayurveda: One of the key principles of Ayurveda is its personalized approach to healthcare. Ayurvedic practitioners assess an individual’s unique constitution (prakriti) and imbalances (vikriti) to tailor treatment plans accordingly. This personalized approach ensures effective and sustainable management of acidity.
Integrating Ayurveda with Modern Medicine: While Ayurveda offers valuable insights and remedies for acidity, it’s essential to integrate it judiciously with modern medical treatments. Consulting qualified Ayurvedic practitioners and medical professionals can help individuals navigate their health journey safely and effectively.
Conclusion: In a world where chronic digestive issues like acidity are rampant, Ayurveda stands out as a beacon of hope with its natural and holistic approach to healing. By understanding the underlying causes of acidity and harnessing the power of herbs, dietary modifications, lifestyle practices, and personalized treatments, individuals can effectively manage acidity and reclaim their digestive health. Embracing Ayurveda’s time-tested wisdom not only alleviates symptoms but also nurtures overall well-being, fostering a harmonious balance between mind, body, and spirit.

Top 3 Home Remedies for Nausea
Before getting on to the topic of home remedies for nausea, it should be learned that nausea can be defined as a feeling of uneasiness and vomiting.
Nausea also leads to the onset of excessive sweating, fatigue, restlessness, headache, appetite loss, and so on. Often, nausea is related to overeating and acid-reflux. Simultaneously, it can also happen if you're not tolerant of motion sickness.
Women who are expecting or are pregnant also suffer from the symptoms of nausea. Even though there are multiple different types of medications for treating nausea, we'll be discussing some natural remedies today.
Tumblr media
Home Remedies for Nausea
The following are some of the significant nausea remedies that you can easily follow,
1. Performing Aromatherapy
If you are looking for home remedies for nausea then aromatherapy should be at the top of your list. The process of aromatherapy includes the use of various kinds of scents and aromas to alter the overall psychological appearance of your surroundings.
For instance, using the scents of lemon or peppermint can relieve anxiety & stress, which is a result, treats nausea.
How to Prepare: The best way to practice aromatherapy would be to put some drops of your essential oils inside a diffuser and allow it to get spread across your room. You can also use some drops of essential oils on a tissue paper and thereby inhale it when you feel nauseated.

Tip: When using it for aromatherapy, it's suggested to mix the peppermint oil with other carrier oils for the best results.
3. Ginger
There's no doubt that ginger can be used to treat a myriad of health problems including nausea, diarrhea, and stomach pains. Ginger was used in China for many years for treating multiple pain and digestive issues, as it has anti-inflammatory properties.
It should be noted that when it comes to using ginger as one of the nausea remedies, it affects the nervous system of human beings too. Ginger contains a certain compound that is responsible for these actions and that ingredient is known as gingerol.
Consumption: There are indeed many ways through which you can intake ginger - foremost being brewing it with your morning tea every day. You can even directly eat raw ginger or add it to your favorite dishes or recipes.
Note: One can even use ginger during pregnancy to treat the symptoms of nausea.

Is It Safe to Receive Treatment at an Acupuncture Clinic

Acupuncture has been used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as a holistic approach to health and wellness. Today, acupuncture clinics are gaining popularity worldwide, offering an alternative therapy for various health conditions. However, before seeking treatment at an acupuncture clinic, addressing some crucial questions to ensure your safety and understanding of this ancient practice is essential. In this blog, we will explore the effectiveness, safety, potential risks, and the process of acupuncture.
Is acupuncture even effective?
Acupuncture has gained recognition for its effectiveness in treating various health conditions. It involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow or "Qi." While some people may still be skeptical, numerous studies and clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of acupuncture for a range of ailments. These include:
Pain management:
Acupuncture is well-known for relieving pain, including chronic pain conditions such as lower back pain, osteoarthritis, and migraines.
Stress and anxiety:
Acupuncture can help reduce stress and anxiety levels by promoting relaxation and balancing the body's stress response.
Digestive issues:
Many individuals have found relief from conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and acid reflux through acupuncture treatments.
Sleep disorders:
Acupuncture can improve sleep patterns and alleviate insomnia.
Is acupuncture safe?
Acupuncture is generally considered safe when performed by a qualified and licensed practitioner. Acupuncturists must undergo rigorous training and certification in many countries to ensure safe and effective practice. The needles used in acupuncture are skinny and sterile, minimizing the risk of infection or other complications.
However, discussing your medical history and any existing health conditions with your acupuncturist before treatment is crucial. This will help them tailor the therapy to your needs and avoid potential contraindications.
Other acupuncture risks
While acupuncture is generally safe, some individuals may experience minor side effects such as bruising, soreness, or mild bleeding at the needle insertion sites. These side effects are usually temporary and subside within a few days.
More severe complications may occur in sporadic cases, such as organ injury or infection. To minimize these risks, choosing a reputable
with licensed practitioners who follow strict hygiene and safety guidelines is essential.
Is acupuncture painful?
One of the most common misconceptions about acupuncture is that it is painful. In reality, most people describe the sensation as minimal to none. The needles are skinny, and the insertion process is quick and gentle.
You may feel a slight tingling, warmth, or a dull ache at the needle insertion point, which is often a sign that acupuncture is working to balance your body's energy. Many individuals find the experience relaxing and even fall asleep during treatment.
How does acupuncture work?
Acupuncture is based on the concept of Qi (pronounced "chee"), which is believed to be the body's vital energy. According to TCM theory, illness, and discomfort arise when Qi flow becomes blocked or imbalanced. Acupuncture seeks to restore the harmonious flow of Qi by stimulating specific points along energy channels known as meridians.
Modern scientific theories suggest that acupuncture may work by:
Stimulating the release of endorphins, the body's natural painkillers.
Increasing blood circulation to affected areas promotes healing.
Modulating the nervous system, including reducing the perception of pain.
Conclusion
Acupuncture clinics offer a safe and effective option for those seeking holistic and alternative approaches to healthcare. When performed by trained and licensed practitioners, acupuncture can relieve many conditions. While minor side effects are possible, the overall safety profile of acupuncture is quite favorable. If you're considering acupuncture as a treatment option, consult a qualified practitioner to discuss your specific needs and concerns.

How do you know if acupuncture is working?
In the world of alternative medicine, acupuncture treatment, often referred to as needle therapy, has gained immense popularity as a holistic approach to healing various health conditions. As more people seek natural remedies and therapeutic solutions, acupuncture therapy has become a sought-after choice. If you're considering acupuncture therapy near you, understanding how to assess its effectiveness is crucial. This article will shed light on the indications that acupuncture is working, the conditions it can treat, and the services offered at SPPC Patanjali Wellness Hospital.
Understanding Acupuncture Therapy
Acupuncture therapy is an ancient healing practice that originated in traditional Chinese medicine. It involves the insertion of thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body known as acupoints. These needles are used to stimulate energy flow, known as "Qi" or "Chi," and promote the body's natural healing abilities. The primary goal of acupuncture therapy is to restore balance and harmony within the body, leading to improved physical and mental well-being.
Diseases Treated with Acupuncture
Acupuncture therapy can be used to address a wide range of health issues, both as a standalone treatment and in conjunction with conventional medicine. Some of the common conditions where acupuncture has been found to be beneficial include:
Pain Management: Acupuncture is widely used for pain relief, including chronic back pain, osteoarthritis, migraines, and various musculoskeletal disorders.
Stress and Anxiety: It can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression by promoting relaxation and balancing the nervous system.
Digestive Disorders: Acupuncture therapy may alleviate symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), acid reflux, and other gastrointestinal issues.
Insomnia: For those struggling with sleep disorders, acupuncture can aid in improving sleep patterns and overall sleep quality.
Fertility and Reproductive Health: Many individuals turn to acupuncture to support fertility, regulate menstrual cycles, and manage symptoms of conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Respiratory Conditions: Acupuncture can provide relief from allergies, asthma, and sinusitis.
Chemotherapy Side Effects: Some cancer patients find relief from the side effects of chemotherapy, such as nausea and fatigue, through acupuncture.
How to Determine If Acupuncture Is Working
Assessing the effectiveness of acupuncture therapy is a personalized experience, as responses vary from person to person. Here are some key indicators that acupuncture may be working for you:

Increased Energy: Improved energy levels and a sense of vitality could indicate the restoration of your body's balance.
Better Sleep: If you've been experiencing sleep issues, acupuncture may lead to more restful and uninterrupted sleep.
Mood Improvement: Reduced stress and anxiety, along with an uplifted mood, may suggest that acupuncture is positively impacting your mental well-being.

Is there a way to cure acid reflux? Yes, and I am living proof of it! For a long time I had to suffer the discomfort of gastric reflux and thanks to this method I am free of this disease today. There were many nights in which I woke up with fear because I could not breathe because the food was returned to my esophagus and there were several treatments that I continued without having definitive results,  I want to share what for me was a great help to get rid of an illness that had already become a torture. The first thing you need to do is to determine if your reflux is caused by too much stomach acid, or too little. As we age, our bodies are not as effective. Things diminish with time, to include vision, hearing, bone density, muscle mass, hair thickness, skin thickness, and yes, stomach acid levels. Today I will introduce to you a very new method of approach, when I first heard about this method I was quite surprised about its method but after learning its way I understand that it As a natural method, you can understand that it directly affects the movement of the acid reflux disease, not treating the outward expressions of the condition.
Heartburn No More is an easy to follow guide that is perfectly designed to help people diagnosed with heartburn and overcome it effectively. This program allows you to manage the symptoms associated with heartburn as well as acid reflux.  This comprehensive system helps you achieve the optimal results in which it works effectively for anyone. Men or women, regardless of their age, can use this method. It is easy to use as well and works nothing like other methods of treatment that you know. The great thing about the treatments Martin offers in his book is that they work on correcting the imbalance in the stomach that leads to reflux. Antacids do not address this problem in any way, and become less and less effective over time. Unlike prescription medications and other conventional methods, the program tackles the root cause of heartburn and acid reflux. It does not mask the symptoms, meaning that you will disappear permanently. The five steps regime is easy to follow. Here is what to expect.
The 5-step regime consists of making slight changes in your diet and lifestyle, all of which are broken down for you in this program with step-by-step instructions.  The great thing about the treatments Martin offers in his system is that they work on correcting the imbalance in the stomach that leads to reflux. Antacids do not address this problem in any way, and become less and less effective over time. This acid reflux medical breakthrough plan specifically targets and destroys the actual cause of acid reflux. In essence, Jeff's findings disclosed that a particular bacterium sits at the forefront of all unwanted stomach problems. You will be mostly focusing on certain foods and also on enhancing your physical body to be at the optimum. This will include getting the best quality and right amount of sleep. You will also be told about how to sleep to help get rid of the acid reflux. You don’t have to restrict your diet, count calories, or do extreme workouts. With just a few slight changes in your day that address your physical, mental and emotional health, you can get rid of acid reflux and heartburn completely in as little as two months.
The author adopted a systematic approach to ensure that everyone benefits. Further, he chose only natural solutions. He claims that individuals suffering from heartburn should avoid medications because they worsen the problem. This method may take time, but there is a 48-hour quick plan for those who want to get help quickly in just 48 hours. I also loved that there are quick relief options that can work in less than 48 hours. When you buy the program the signup process is pretty efficient and smooth.
