I cannot imagine what was going through Vigo’s head during the whole “shell shocked” debacle.

He is in the midst of the hardened dragon riders that have been beating his ass for years. Worse he is completely at their mercy and all of his men -including his own brother- have turned on him.

And as for the dragon riders: they are a band of high schoolers who speak primarily in riddles and inside jokes.

One of the dragon riders averages no more than five full sentences an hour and most of those are incoherently insane responses to her brother’s even more in insane questions.

One dragon rider appears to have a side job as babysitter for a baby dragon that is also the god of a neighboring island.

His mastermind enemy has a terminal illness/gambling problem that the angry blonde girl is helping with(???)

One dragon rider alternately speaks like Shakespeare and clucks like a chicken. He also is in love with a mace.

And one of them is just a coward with daddy issues and an uncontrollable dragon.

HE CANONICALLY LISTEN TO THE TWINS CATCH-FRASES AND WORKSHOPED WITH THEM!
