Daemon had been finishing up a turn of practice on the training grounds. A bead of sweat the only sign of his exhaustion in the heat of the sun. He heard the familar swish of skirts and violet eyes turned to meet them as he finished running a gentle rag along the edges of his sword. A true warrior kept his battle instruments safe and at the ready. And he chose honor in suprising places and ways. A slightly impish smile pulled at the edges of his mouth as he caught the eyes of the lady who looked like a lovely flower swathed in satin though he knew of the thorns around that particular bloom. She seemed to flag her interest onto him. A slightly raised white blonde eyebrow arched. “To what do I owe this particular greeting?”

She had been told that her mother and uncle had decided to betroth his son Aerion, and her together. When it was her time to take the throne he would stand beside her as her husband, and two Targaryen's would rule over the Seven Kingdoms. It was a match she had expected, and one that would promote strength within the realm.

She was also glad it had not been Aegon that she had been betrothed to. He was a terrible person and hated her brothers for something they had no control over. It was petty, and the older he grew, the more repulsive he became. His bullying being among the more tame things he had done in his life. And there were still many more years to come.

Viserra found Aerion in a sitting room, telling her guard that she would be fine in here with him and that he could wait just outside. Her mother said it would be good for her to go and speak with him, now that the news had been announced. She wasn't opposed to the idea. He was nice enough, and he would be good to stand by her side. He'd always been well behaved in court. But there was still the fact that up until that point, she'd never seen any potential of anything with him aside from cousins, the thought had never occurred to her.

She held her hands behind her back as she looked at him. "The news was made official." She said with a quiet voice that was very typical her. "From the sounds of it, we will be wed within a year from now."

He'd arrived a week or so ago in Kings Landing. Delivering the bounty that he'd used as an excuse to come here and then settling into the city to determine the best way to eventually challenge the two dragons of the West. A task that he was quickly realizing wouldn't be easy since well...Daemon wasn't in Kings Landing and Aemond apparently never really left the palace the way other royals often did.

So instead he'd begun taking bounties within the city. Learning the streets and alleyways as he word to hunt down those who escaped even the gold cloaks. Hoping that doing so would gain the attention of one of the two royals and an audience.

Rounding a corner he paused at a sound coming from one of the darker alleyways deep in the slums of the city. A cry that was distinctively female and had him moving without a second thought. Darting into the alleyway to find three men surrounding a woman who was clearly of noble birth as he stalked up from behind her. One sword hissed near silently from its sheath as he locked eyes with the men. "I believe the lady said to release her."
