A meme that turned into a continued concept, I guess.

Originally envisioned them yelling at the Zeniths for mistreatment of Beta, then figured out it would be funnier if they each yelled for even more different reasons.

Patrick's angry for the gene ethics and the mistreatment of Beta .

Elisabet's angry at the whole Zenith fiasco, Gaia's destruction, for Beta's treatment and for Aloy's almost abduction.

Aloy's angry at the whole mess the Zeniths made, also here I imagine her angry for Beta, for Varl, and at them for chasing her down and nearlly costing her her life.

do you ever think about how Avad’s last straw was witnessing his brother Kadaman’s execution in the sun ring? An execution ordered by their own father?

I am begging, BEGGING, guerilla games to give us holopoints of tilda and elisabet in the next horizon game like I cannot survive off one scrap of data and tilda’s word for it I need, like in their walls NEED, to see what they were like- please. May I please request a team Headcannon with Xiao, Albedo, Aloy, and Qiqi?

Xiao is the main damage dealer with Albedo on support and sub DPS. Aloy is the Burst DPS and Qiqi is our healer and backup if the others get too low on health.

Yes you may! (I don't know much about Aloy but I'll try my best)

Nobody really knows each other at first so it does take some time for them to warm up

Xiao is a bit more hesitant than the others since he is usually alone and is afraid the others would get caught up in his fighting

Xiao being like "my karma is harmful" and then / Albedo: I am chalk / Aloy: I'm not from here / Qiqi: I am zombie / Xiao: ...

I think Albedo and Aloy would get along first since they both like exploring different places and learning new things about them

Albedo feels better knowing someone is willing to explore (even if it's in the cold) with him

He is curious about Xiao and Qiqi though, one being an adeptus and the other a zombie... never seen before in his region

AHH- wouldn't it be cute if Qiqi held hands with one of them each time they're walking when exploring?

She likes to carry her notebook with her, so she can remember the team members names, what they do, etc

Aloy and Xiao bond over fighting monsters together, I think (lore wise) they have more experience

To Albedo, Qiqi reminds him of Klee since they're both so little so his brother instincts kinda kick in

There is definitely chaos when the cocogoat thing starts- everyone is so confused until you/traveller tells them and they're like "..."

Aloy and Qiqi go hunting together! They go out in the wild and Aloy hunts wild boars while Qiqi gathers herbs and plants that could be used for cooking

one of my favorite things about horizon zero dawn is the lore. oftentimes it feels like aloy is dropped in the middle of a fully formed story unrelated to the sci-fi mystery; I think if an action-adventure fantasy book had been written following ersa, erend, and avad's liberation of meridian, it would be incredible all on its own. there's so much history everywhere around the world of the game that the discovery aspect of it all feels much more natural and real. all of this to say I wish there was a fanfiction that is just the ersa and avad overthrow a government book that I KNOW would be amazing

#I'm honestly tempted to write it myself?#but the fact that I can imagine it and feel the interpersonal connections between characters that aloy has just met is really cool #and how entire cultures are formed based on the minimal information left from the old ones?#and how two different cultures can interpret the same information different ways and that influences their founding?#(i.e. the nora and the carja. they came from the same place but have oppositional cultural ideologies)#it's so fucking cool I love this game #horizon zero dawn #ryn dot text

It isn’t perfect and I think I’ll have to fuss with the formatting re:mistakes in subtitling and translating them to the transcript, but I’m glad I could get it done!
