i don’t actually know what to ask specifically but tell me more about the kids pls *twirls hair* *twirls hair* *twirls hair* *twirls ha—
Hi Crem :)
Random Little League kid facts in no particular order:
-Wayne and Raj keep making homemade friendship bracelets for each other and they break on the ice Every Single Time and the beads go flying everywhere but that never stops them from making more.
-Scary Girl once told Damien that there were monsters living under the ice, and he was too terrified of her to correct her, even though he knew she was wrong.
-Damien likes to read books about hockey. He is not actually interested in hockey, he just likes knowing fun facts about it so that he can talk about it with Priya.
-Ripper ALWAYS dares Chase to do something (pranking someone, usually) during like every single practice and Chase just. Goes along with it. And they always get in trouble but they never stop doing it
-Most of Millie’s notes in this AU are just silly little kid complaints about everyone. “Axel wouldn’t let me use her green marker to color in my picture :(“
-Axel’s zombie apocalypse training thing is just an elaborate game that she plays at recess every day, and she takes it VERY seriously. The other kids can’t tell if she’s playing pretend, or if she actually believes that zombies are real.
-The hockey bros showed MK their favorite show. She watched every episode with them. She refuses to admit that she enjoyed it but they both know she did.
-Bowie and Emma have been friends since they were maybe 8. So they’ve been friends for about a year. Millie and Priya have also been friends for around the same amount of time. Wayne and Raj have been friends since they were 4.

Coconut Ice Cream
Rich, creamy, irresistible homemade coconut ice cream.
This coconut ice cream is for all my coconut-loving friends out there. It’s also dedicated to my older son, who starts his sophomore year of high school (via distant learning) today, during a Pandemic and in a state burning from wildfires. He is a huge coconut lover like I am, so I thought what could me more appropriate. If you’ve never made homemade ice creambefore, now is the time, the days are…

Days 5-7 Lake Como by ER
We left Switzerland and headed for Italy. It took around 2 hours but the car ride was nice. On the way there we drove though so many tunnels. One tunnel was so long and dark it was making Big D tired and he started slapping himself but it was a soft slap. So we arrived to Como during rush hour and those roads are probably just wide enough for the buses to get through. Alex and I had to be quiet. I mean people on the road will just speed up and pass you if you are not going fast enough. I mean that's a really good way to get hit. Also there are a lot of curves in the road so it made it really hard to see when a car is coming around the curves. When we finally got on the road the AirBnB house was on we could not find the house. We followed the instructions, but we couldn't find it. We stopped and Big D went to go look and we tried to call the guy but he didn't answer, and then mom texted the guy but he never answered. We drove up a little bit more and surely enough we came across the house. When we met the owner he couldn't speak English so he got his phone and turned on Goggle Translator and it was funny. He would talk to the phone in a language we really did not understand, then he would show us what he said. He talked in the phone over and over until he was done showing us the house. He also got a reservation at a restaurant that was nice. When we got everything in mom and Big D left to get breakfast for the next morning. While they were gone I was reading, and Alex discovered a mouse in the house and named it Michaelangelo. When mom and Big D got home we got ready for dinner. We really didn't get ready. Mom and I only put on a dress. We went to dinner at a place called Il Vapore. It was nice, right on the water and it felt really nice outside. Alex and I got San Pellegrino and mom and Big D got apparently really good wine. We also got bread which I ate before mom and Big D even got their drinks. We all ordered different things, but Alex and mom had the same fish in their meals. The fish came from that same lake. When we finished eating we got desert. I got something that reminded me of a zebra cake but it was really different. It had ice cream in the middle and something crispy on the outside. Alex got the homemade traditional desert and mom and Big D got Crem Catalan. That looked really good. After we were done eating our dessert we walked down a little alley which were mostly stores but one little place was open and it was a little hang out area with candles, really pretty. We got home really late and took showers. During the showers we discovered that there was a baby bat hanging in our parents room. It was cute; we named it Raffael. After we were done taking showers we were all good in our rooms. We had all the windows open, because it was hot in the house and suddenly a bat came flying in the house. It came in our room and went our the window in our parents' room. We named it Donatella. When we found a really big spider we named it Leonardo. We all went to bed and the lights were turned off so all the bugs went away, but we still left the windows open. We slept in the next morning and Big D made breakfast, eggs and proscuitto. At 1:00 we were going to rent a boat and ride on the water. So we went to the boat rental place, but no one was there so we called them and found out that don't open until1:30, so we just waited. When the people came they took a while to get to us, but when they did it was really easy to rent a boat. We rented the boat until 5:30. We got in the boat and went not really far until Big D decided let's get in the water. The water was REALLY cold and some places were warm. I did not go in the warm places. We were in the water not for long because all of us were ready for some gelato. We drove the boat close the the edge but at least as close we could get. We had to be a least 100 meters from the edge of the late. Anyway... we looked for the different towns on the way to Varenna. When we got there we looked around and could not find a spot to tie up the boat. When we found it, it was right by the the boat taxi and there was a lot of gelato stores but we waited until we got ready to leave. We found some markets up from the lake and we bought some cherries. Then we went to get some gelato. I got vanilla and mint, Alex got raspberry, Big D got peach and strawberry, and mom got hazelnut and pistachio. Dad said that the peach was the BEST gelato he has ever eaten. We got back on the boat and I drove to the place where we were going to get out and swim around. When we got there we got out and swam, but this part of the lake was the most narrow place in the lake so there was a lot of waves and we were moving and so was the boat, so we went to go find another place to swim around. On the way back we saw a cool house and we talked about the houses and then we went in for a swim. These people near the shore were jumping out and were doing flips off this edge. We were in the water not for a long time. When we returned the boat we didn't know how to get to the dock since there were other boats around. We found a way and right as we were getting close a guy stars running and he jumps in right were we where going to go. This guy jumps in with thin white underwear. When he gets out he start fixing is underwear. Anyway... we got the boat in and we checked out and headed home. We had to go up these stairs that took us down there, but going up was harder. We all made it and got to the house, and we took showers while mom started dinner. We had spaghetti. Then after dinner we watched Aladdin. We went to bed finally at a reasonable time, but when we went to bed there was this band playing American music and it was loud and we had all the windows open because it was hot. So we could not go to sleep because it was hot and the loud band was playing. Finally every one got to sleep but really late. In the morning we woke up really early at 6:30. Big D made breakfast, and we got dressed and left Como. Driving out was much less stressful then coming in.
