I had been liking your monster au, and what if Yuu can do acrobats or they are a contortionist? Mostly because of Yuu having a very flexible body. And the researchers just found out about it and they're maybe thinking that all humans can do it too (being able to bend backwards with ease)((note: if Yuu can do the exorcist spider crawl, they will scare the students lol))

Ooooh my goodness, I can imagine the sheer looks of horror and confusion the boys would have if they witnessed Yuu being that flexible! 🤣

For the most part I think that the researchers would discover this during one of Yuu’s physical exams, testing their reflexes and their muscle strength among other things. On a whim, one of the researchers asked Yuu to touch their toes to see how well their spine moved, and depending on how long they’ve been at it or how bored Yuu is, if they bend over backwards and touch their toes through their legs while peering up at them…

Well, let’s just say that the shrill shriek came from more than one researcher that day.

As soon as Yuu can reassure them that they’re completely fine and that, no, they didn’t just break their spine, the researchers would be very interested to see just how far this flexibility went. They even enlisted Vil and Jamil’s assistance to do a side-by-side comparison to see how Yuu would compare, and while Jamil came the closest it was still baffling to witness just how fluid the human was in their movements. Even Vil was impressed, thinking of how to incorporate their own flexibility into the Pomefiore training.

Soon enough the other first years found out about this, and they approached Yuu during movie night at Diasomnia to ask about it. “Do something really crazy!” Ace goaded them on. "Freak us out like you did those scientists!"

Yuu thought for a moment before they smiled. “Well…okay, but remember: you asked for this. Jack? Could you turn out the lights, please?”

“Uh…sure,” came the response.

As soon as the lights were off, Yuu’s smile grew wider as they waited for everyone to settle in. Then, they fell backwards until their hands were planted firmly against the floor, earning a gasp from the others. “Whoa, how’dja do that?!” Grim asked.

Yuu said nothing, their hands and feet shuffling as they turned around to face them with…a rather eerie looking expression on their face. “…um…Yuu?” Jack uttered. “Are…you okay?”

They didn’t say anything, a low, gurgling sound escaping their throat…before they began scuttling towards them!

“GYAH!?!?!” came the startled screams as the first years scrambled to get away, claws and hooves slipping and scraping against the stone floor before they scattered in a panic. “Demon human!!!!”

From the top of the staircase Lilia couldn’t help but chuckle in amusement as he said, “Ah, how adorable. Fufufu…perhaps I should teach the little human a few tricks of my own?”
