Why could I not marry Alistair?
I cried over this year's ago but I'm replaying Origins so I'm bitter again. My HoF is Aeducan and I romance Alistair. I make Alistair king and I tried to marry him, literally kept reloading saves and doing the whole landsmet multiple times over. Apparently you can't marry him unless you are nobility as the wiki told me. Then I was told I needed to be Fereldan also. So now I was fully confused because I AM A ORZAMMAR PRINCESS. And last time I checked Orzammar is in Fereldan. I had to find out on reddit that only a human noble woman can become queen.
I hate everything.

First things first: my canon run is always a bit chaotic, I try not to reload and only go for the choices the character I roleplay would make. That's how I get the most fun out of RPGs c: (I had a hard time falling in love with Inky and when I finally found a canon one he chose the opposite of anything I'd have done.)
