Here’s Addy with her new accessories that I picked up at AG Place LA.

This Addy was in the large PC Molly lot I brought home a few weeks ago. I fell in love as sometimes happens and decided I had to keep her.

She had her boots but no meet dress. I remembered I had this lovely dress someone made with great care. Kirsten had an extra apron and kindly passed it along.

I was very excited to set up her Sweet Dreams set which I’ve been holding onto for years!

I rarely come across Addy items on my adventures so I’m cobbling things together until either I get lucky or AG expands their retired doll lines. 🤞🏻

i recently got a couple of retired outfits from mercari, and this was one of them. i grew up playing the innerstar u web games, and i even had a couple of MAGs that came with charms. i love this outfit because it’s so casual and versatile. i like how different and real the colors are. plus i feel like hoodies and sweatpants are rare in later ag outfits.

I think this is so disappointing of Mattel. They sent @Lemonbaydoll and @thepapercostumier on Instagram and Etsy a cease and desist with their work. Tory, the paper doll creator I follow on Instagram had this really cool and cute paper doll series of grown up historical girls (in the time period they would be adults) and riffing with the girls’ outfits from the collections but newly styled to fit their new time period and adult status. Attached below is some examples- I couldn’t find a lot because it seemed it got wiped. It’s just unfortunate because while I understand protecting your artistic IP the paper dolls feels more in the realm of what Pleasant Company was than what American girl is now :/ anyways I’d love to hear all of your thoughts!

How many books does it take to write a historical fiction trilogy? Too many 😭 I just added another one to the pile (James Madison by Jay Cost which I’ll get to dig into while writing Volume II) and not pictured is a whole other shelf stuffed full of historical books below the first shelf.

Writing this Hamilton trilogy also takes Funko Pop figures and a doll too, apparently. They’re too cute to not display. 😂

Me and my original pc Samantha 1998.

Unfortunately, her and her collection were thrown out after my grandmother kicked us out of her home.

Since then I have always wanted to find a pc Sam out in the wild and sure enough I was in a thrift store last year and there she was and she had a nice amount of clothing as well as her bed!

Finding her had really reignited my love of these dolls and I’m constantly on the hunt now and am working on building up my collection.
