Has anyone read "Becoming popular through the "All Villains" variety show" (link to english ttl here)? Because it's fcking hilarious.

Anyways, I love the concept of a show were all the participants are hated infamous people who got invitations to said show based only on how much they're disliked. I also love how the audience gets so inverted on them, despite how they were watching just to laugh at them at first.

And that made thought, what about a modern fantasy lcf au where ogCale gets selected to go to a show like that one without his knowledge?

The world would be more like lcf/pre-war tboah world, but with more technology and entertaiment culture on it. Like, magic just dance, arcades for all kind of races, various magical music related devices (not, it's not me wanting ogCale to dance, shut up), economic versions of record tools, etc.

And the audience of that program would be not only ordinary people, but higher beings too. I was thinking of gods, but you can put constellations if you want too (i know little to nothing about orv, so, it's up to you). I was thinking that the interaction with the audience would work kinda like that, floating messages and stuff.

The selection of the participants would be:

Half of them are chosen by voting of that world's habitants. That's how ogCale got selected. Some people (dirty nobles) thought it would be funny to watch him make a fool of himself, the rest (normal people) jumped on board because curiosity or for fun and giggles.

The other half are voted by higher beings and habitants from other worlds that have access to the show and system for whatever reason. Adin is one of them. In part because they want him to suffer, in part because they want people from there to TAKE A DAMN HINT.

Idk about the others participants, maybe some ocs, maybe other characters. Some of them actual bad guys, some of them not (that) bad.

Some shenanigans we could have

•The show requires their participants to live there until the end of the season. So, Cale draggs Hans to stay with him because he needs a babysitter for his cats. Cue, Hans, On, and Hong mocking Cale everytime they appear.

•At the presentation of the participants, Cale, face in blank, stares at the camera with the most dead gaze, and says "I was brought here against my will", takes a sip of a bottle, "basically abducted" completely calm. He's drinking tea, btw. He doesn't drink irresponsiblely infront of his kids.

•The host of the show trying to convince Cale to try whatever challenge they have to do. He goes from reasoning to pleading to bribing him, because Cale won't try it unless he thinks it's fun or he can get something out of it.

•In this AU, Bassen was already named official heir of the count title and Cale had taken care of his corrupted relatives some time before the start of the show. So, he doesn't need to act like trash anymore. He didn't say anything tho. He's just doing whatever he wants, but he's kind of a loner by habit. It's difficult for him to low his guard around people (besides the kids and maybe his siblings). However, as a result, whenever something is happening, he's just commenting the wildest or sassiest things from the side. Or the front. Doesn't matter what's happening, he states facts as makes observations as if he wasn't involved whe he pretty much is.

•*Wild poisonous lizard monster appears from nowhere*

The other participants: *panic, fight, fly response*

Cale: oh, look, it's prince Adin's cousin.

The host, from the safety: ooh, you seem to have quiet a problem there.

Cale: yeah, they have two poisonous reptiles now.

•Cale's bs detector went off from the very first moment he saw Adin. He doesn't know what's up with that guy but he doesn't like it. He tries to avoid him at all cost and pulls the petiest shit towards him at the same time.

•Adin: Nice to meet you. I'm—

Cale: —going back to the other side? Yes, please do that.

•Everyone noted that the trashy young master dislikes Prince Adin, but no one knows why. So they start making up theories and trying to reunite hints from their interactions. The most popular ones are A) the childhood friends-to enemies one, B) the one about them being love rivals for Prince Valetino's hand, and C) the one about them being rivals for Prince Alberu's love.

•When the host asked about the matter, Cale response was—

Cale: hm? Oh, he just buzzes my bs detector.

Host: I— what?

Cale: My bullshit detector. Have you ever met someone and just, immediately realized that everything that comes from their mouth is *beeep*? That you must not trust on them, no matter what? That's it.

Host:...I see. Out of curiosity, how precise is your, uhm, "bs detector"?

Cale: it has never been wrong. There was this time—

•The Soo's are part of the "habitants from other world" group. Choi Jung Soo is the most active one out of the three.

•Cjs outted himself as Choi Han's nephew by accident. Cale's instant remark— "Choi Han, come pick up your kid". He knew cjs was an adult.

•Venion ended up as one of the program's contestants due to some anonymous people spamming votes to mess with him. Just kidding. The culprits are the Henituse siblings + Hans. Bassen was mad at him, so Cale suggested it. Lily joined because "it's not fair that they have fun without her". Hans recorded everything for later.

•Alberu likes to watch the show to distress.

Choi Han sees a weird stick in Cale’s hair.

“Oh, wait Cale-nim, let me…” With the slight height advantage, Cale doesn’t actually have a choice but to let the swordmaster do as he wishes.

For moment he fiddles around, trying to grab the elusive, tangled object, when he suddenly feels Cale lean into his hand. He watches with bated breath as Cale closes his eyes.

(‘Ah, I’m so tired that I’m leaning on Choi Han. Aigoo, he must think I’m pathetic.)

Choi Han spends another minute to get the stick out, claiming that it was particularly stuck in his long hair. He burns this memory into his mind while also promising to never tell another soul.

Eruhaben is next. He notices the red head’s soft locks, freshly washed and neatly air-dried with magic. As a dragon, he doesn’t think twice about the temptation, standing from his spot on the couch to test if Cale’s hair is even half as soft as it appears to be.

It is, he learns.

(Cale shivers. Is Eruhaben threatening him? Just in case, Cale bows his head to hide his fearful expression.)

The dragon watches with amusement, thinking that it’s only natural to offer one’s head to a dragon as powerful as him. Until he feels Cale almost… press into his palm absentmindedly. Eruhaben vividly feels the exact moment that his heart melts into a puddle of affection.

He definitely will use this against the bastard next time he has the opportunity.

Oddly, On and Hong figure it out next. Cale is sitting in his usual chair, reading a book with his hair falling into his face picturesquely. On recalls when Rosalyn did her hair up with a pretty pin, making it easy to move around without getting in her face.

On considers if Cale would mind On experimenting a little, immediately coming to the conclusion that he wouldn’t give two shits.

She transforms into her human form and moves behind the chair. Of course, Cale doesn’t bat an eye at her unusual movements. When she gathers his hair up in her hands, he doesn’t miss a beat, leaning back to give her better access. He only changes the angle of his book so he can still read. Hong observes his sister from Cale’s lap with curiosity.

Her upbeat attitude is ruined quickly because she doesn’t know how to braid nor tie up hair, and is missing the necessary bows and pins to do it in the first place. She runs her fingers through his vibrant red hair as she tries to remember what Rosalyn did.

Hong’s eyes go wide. Cale had stopped reading as his sister continued her ministrations, closing his eyes and leaning back, relaxing into his seat. Hong urgently signals for his sister to witness this.

Her eyes narrow in on the sight with a calculating gaze. She changes the way her hands run through his hair, simply running her fingers through and carefully untangling it instead. Cale’s face gradually loses its constant pinch.

(‘Yes, the children should do whatever they want, even play with my hair.’ Cale internally nods to himself.)

On, unlike Choi Han or Eruhaben, tests her limits. She continues her gentle pattern without pausing. After a few minutes, both of the cats hear Cale’s breathing taper away into a relaxed rhythm. On silently makes eye contact with her brother, and they make a secret promise to not make a big deal about this, lest this trick never work again.

They hear Ron before he enters the room and On casually returns to her car form, stealthily and softly landing on Cale’s lap. Ron enters, pausing at the sight of his puppy young master.

Smiling benignly, he darkly assumes that Cale had been so exhausted that he managed to fall asleep in the middle of reading.

On and Hong don’t correct him.

If Cale has an especially bitter lemon tea that night, he doesn’t make a big deal about it. Not when the crown prince calls him soon after it arrives.

He arrives at the palace where the Crown Prince learns of this spreading secret. Cale uses his superior glib tongue to force a frown on Alberu’s exhausted expression, and the exasperated hyung sighs, walking around to the couch where his dongaeng is sprawled. He places a hand on his shoulder, threatening Cale with a high political position if he doesn’t stop doing dangerous things and causing trouble.

Cale shudders and agrees. Alberu smiles at this, his hand moving to ruffle his adorable dongsaeng’s hair.

(Cale sighs, closing his eyes and humoring his affectionate hyung. He leans back, questioning why everyone has been so touchy lately.)

Alberu feels his heart stop and stutter at the fragile sight. Cale looks completely at ease, slumped in the couch cushions and pressing his head into Alberu’s palm like a cat. His lip is quirked up slightly, but Alberu would bet a golden plaque that Cale hasn’t a single idea on what he looks like right now, otherwise he wouldn’t be even half as relaxed as he is right now.

He resembles a lazy cat. He’s being pet whilst lounging, with a content and pleased expression edging on his face. If this goes on long enough, Cale might even fall asleep.

Alberu continues talking without letting his smile leak through into his words, stroking the top of Cale’s head in an absent minded motion.

(Cale ignores the sneaking chill on the back of his neck, too focused on Alberu’s words about the kingdom. The petting is a bit strange, but Alberu is the crown prince, so he’ll allow it.)

As predicted, Cale doesn’t mention it.

After a minute though, Cale starts to frown, beginning to acknowledge the feeling that he’s being scammed somehow.

“Hyung, do you have a headache?”

Alberu acts like a polite and caring hyung, starting to massage Cale’s head.

(Cale frowns more. Something is definitely going on.)

Cale opens his eyes, protesting. “Your highness, my health is perfect at the moment. You, our shining sun, couldn’t possibly-“ Alberu changes from massaging to running his fingers through Cale’s hair.

(Cale sighs, cutting off. It was just a ploy to play with Cale’s hair. He should’ve expected his highness to scam him in this way too.)

Alberu grins when Cale stops talking, looking resigned to his fate. He goes completely limp, and Alberu’s blunt fingernails scratch against Cale’s scalp gently. Cale visibly shudders at the feeling.

(‘Too scary, what if he scratches and draws blood? If Raon finds out, he’s going to feed me soggy apple pie…’)

Alberu preens at finding Cale’s weakness.

On slyly asks Rosalyn to do up Cale’s hair one day- as an experiment- and is extremely pleased when Cale not only agrees, but he closes his eyes and falls asleep soon after the Mage is done gently tugging his hair into place and adorning it with intricate pins and accessories. Choi Han walks in on this scene and threatens Rosalyn to keep it a secret (after melting a bit on the inside). She agrees with a sly smile.

If only Cale knew how everyone was going to use this to scam him in the future…

Eventually the misconception that Cale likes to have his hair played with goes around the entire group. Cale- of course- is completely clueless. He just thinks that everyone suddenly became obsessed with his hair.

Ron is the only one who can’t get Cale to relax. Even Bud somewhat managed it, but Cale stays vigilant no matter what his old butler does. Ron finds his puppy young master to be amusing.

Cale really doesn’t understand what they want with his hair. Do they want his hair?

(He asks Ron for a trim a few days later. Ron only cuts off the dead ends and leaves it neat but long, much to the young masters displeasure.)

@ringoahiru you ask for it. I did my best but I stoped reading the novel in the 700ch almost three years ago(shame on me, yes.)

Choi Han is an absolutely sarcastic asshole with no chill, and Alberu vibes with that even if he shouldn't because he is like the crown prince. Like, Choi Han would tell a noble to shut the fuck up, and Alberu would just gaslight the poor man into thinking he said nothing.

They are the type of friends who absolutely roast each other with no hesitation. They are like:

Choi Han: morning, fake ass prince. How was your day? I hope bad like your hair style.

Alberu: *not missing a sec* Good morning, overrated stinky dog. My morning was good until I saw your ugly face.

And Cale just learned to not try to understand them anymore. He is sitting there, looking at them, eating cookies, and thinking, 'They're such good friends, bc he has a distortion of the concept of friendship.

And their bond activity is just fucking with Cale until he looks like he regrets every decision in his life. Alberu and Choi Han agree that he looks one step closer to committing first-grade murder and is the most hilarious shit ever.

Alberu: hi, old man, How was your day?

Choi Han: dunno, how was your day, Cale-nim?

Or,

Choi Han: the other day I was thinking-

Alberu: do you think? I thought domestic dogs didn't

Choi Han: *not even blinking*-is Cale-nim the protagonist of a reality show for the Ancient powers?

Since I saw that post about og!Cale solving a murder crime in Alberu's noble meeting, I've been obsessed with detective!ogCale, who solves crimes on his free time because he's too fucking bored.

Hence: bungo stray dogs crossover AU where, while a transmigrated RokSoo and company go around doing the usual "let's mess with white star" stuff, og!Cale got basically adopted by a bunch of weird professional detectives.

I'm talking about an AU where bsd happens in the world of tboah/tcf. So, while a member of the agency was going through the county for reasons, they witness og!Cale stealthy dropping a hint about a mystery to a near knight. Then he leaves, pretending to be drunk all the way to his home.

What everyone else sees is the local drunkard ready to cause trouble at the minor inconvenience.

What the detective in question sees is a very bright teen, good at solving crimes, who has nothing to do but pretend to be drunk. Needless to say, they take Cale back with them.

(It could be anyone, but it's most likely to be Dazai if they just take Cale with them and don't tell anyone. Though, I think it would be funny if it was Kenji the one who did it. Double-way adoption ensues)

Og!Cale is puzzled at how he ended up at the Armed Detective Agency as a recruit, but he doesn't complain. He even likes his job and his coworkers, even if Dazai keeps trying to unalive himself.

Besides, he doesn't have to keep with his trash act here. Everyone here is smart enough to tell he's acting. They're detectives, damn it. It would be strange if they didn't notice.

So, freedom.

And the ADA people like him too. This quite quirky, smart, witty and creative teen fits just right with them.

At some point, Ranpo has to tell him that "no, you're not smart. You're really smart. Not as much as me, although" because og!Cale's hypercompetence is normalized for him and sometimes he doesn't realize that "everyone else hasn't reach to that conclusion yet" when talking with normal people.

Fukuzawa looks at this sassy child and is like "I guess I got yet another son". Because, why would the hella rich son of some noble be so happy to join a group of strangers and do all this hard job? You can say he obviously loves his family from the way he talks about them, but he also brights up at the minor genuine act of care. It's concerning. Not urgent, but still concerning. He's keeping him. He's eighteen, legally an adult, and came on his own will. So, It's not a kidnapping.

Holy shit! I just got this briliant idea. An idea of ​​a repetitive and complicated cycle of reincarnation.

Cale and Roksoo sibling or maybe twin AU

Cale and Roksoo first life. They are sibling or twin born in Korea (earth 1). Unfortunately Cale died first. He died after they meet LSY and CJS. So their team or 'family' should consist 4 people rather than 3.

Cale then reincarnated as Cale Henituse (OG!Cale) with his memories. So technically, Roksoo transmigrate to his twin/sibling's body in his second life. And Cale transmigrate to his brother's body.

As much as Cale doesn't want to involved his brother, he still need the deal. He keep remembering even after regressed and transmigrated.

Unfortunately, Roksoo (LSY & CJS don't know anything) doesn't know a thing about this because Cale want to keep it a secret and doesn't want to burden his brother. It's also part of the deal, GoD is forbidden to tell Roksoo about Cale's situation.

Then they got reincarnated as a pair of twin in TCF/TBOAH world. They have their memories of their previous lifes.

Roksoo still think that OG!Cale is, well, OG!Cale. While Cale also remember memories since his first life (KRS's brother).

They work together. Roksoo even talk about his deceased brother (which he never had to other people other then LSY and CJS) from earth to Cale, not knowing that that brother is infront of him.

CH and Alberu doesn't know because the timeline on ST!Earth2 was after Cale's first death.

In this life, also, Cale died first. He died protecting Roksoo from this world WS's attack.

Lets say that Roksoo spiralling after his death. More so than when his /other/ brother's death.

Then their next life come. In this life, Roksoo's memories continue. While Cale doesn't have his memories of his third life. So Cale thinks that this Roksoo is the Roksoo after TCF. Roksoo also hide the fact that he remember his second life.

In this life, Roksoo is protective and obsess over Cale safety. Cale feels weird out with his behavior but put it aside, thinking that his life in TCF must gave him a big impact.

But again, in this life Cale died first. He died at the hand of a Hunter. (WHAT IF. What if I connect it with my other AU? The one with a Hunter eating Cale's heart...?)

At this point, Roksoo curse the Gods and himself. For always losing his brother in every life.

GoD found a loophole in his deal with Cale. So he /told/ Roksoo about Cale's life (the worst mistake, really). This, of course, make Roksoo crazy protective to Cale in their next life.

What he doesn't know is, Cale also reincarnated in the same world. It's just that, in this life they are not brother. Cale feels bad for feeling glad. Because he is tired and kinda scared of his brother now.

Cale know where Rok Soo live. They technically around the same neighborhood. Once he almost reveal himself when he witness Roksoo cruelty to his brother. But he is a selfish coward so he stay hidden.

Until Roksoo went to far and Cale has to interve. And BAM!! Roksoo found him! Since then Roksoo doesn't let him go. He literally lock him up in his apartment and forbid him to go out.

And Roksoo know that if they don't reborn as sibling again, then the other one still reborn in the same world. So he just need to search for him.

It's a little bit different. They born in TCF again. Like how there is Earth 1, Earth 2, Earth 3, and so on. There are also TCF 1, TCF 2, and so on.

In this life, Roksoo reborn as Cale Henituse (no twin or red-head sibling). The twist is, his found 'family' in his first life also remember their life. They think Roksoo also the same as them, only remember one of his life.

Roksoo pretend to be the same. But they notice the differences. In this life, Cale!krs seems... darker. He also seems like so obsesses over something, someone. But overall he is the same so they brush it off.

Another twist, Cale reborn as the WS in this life. So he reborn way before Roksoo. Cale has a lifespan of a dragon here, so he doesn't need to snatch random body like WS.

In this life, WS!Cale adopt the red dragon as his kid and the green dragon as his father. Cale try to keep everything the same as to not lead Roksoo's attention to him.

Everything went smoothly until the time when Roksoo's 'family' face off the red dragon. The red dragon said something that only ever said by Cale, especially to Roksoo, so Roksoo is convinced that Cale is also here somewhere and this red dragon know his whereabout.

His companies watches how crude Roksoo taunt the red dragon. They know he can be heartless to his enemy, but never this severe. Especially this life WS is not as cruel as they remember. Their weird feeling toward him resurface.

And something is said by the red dragon. It anger Roksoo. And his companies watch in disbelief how much more violence Roksoo's strikes are. He aims to kill.

WS!Cale can't let Roksoo hurt his son. So he quickly distract Roksoo before teleport himself and his son away as soon as he get a hand on him.

Unfortunately, Roksoo caught a glimpse on him. Fortunately, Cale manage to slip away before Roksoo's hand catches him.

Roksoo stood there for a minute before laughing. It sound esctatic and crazy in the ears of others.

"Found you~ I'll make sure you won't be able to run from my side anymore"

Those who heard him got goosebumps, he sounded like a man who had lost his mind.
