hello! it’s been awhile since i requested an rp on here but i’m in a particularly thirsty mood as of recently and i’ll be free for a bit! i’m 20, transmasc and go by he/they! anyway, here’s some actually relevant information about me:

for starters, i’m looking for a mlm/mxm long-term explicit oc roleplay, really heavy on the explicit part too (40:60 or 30:70 plot-to-nsfw ratio). i love adding further details into the plot, even world-building and stuff, but it does have to be a main element! i’m open to including whatever else since i have pretty minimal triggers and limits, so feel free to share whatever’s in your mind!

for positions, i do warn people, i love playing power bottoms— and i really mean power bottoms. they give what they want to and get want they want too, it’s that simple! i’m open to shifting to the ‘bratty sub bottoms’ category but i do like to stick to the ‘dom bottom’ territory. any switches (as i’m open to it), service tops or sub tops are welcome! and i suppose anyone who would like to do some dom x dom power play.

plots are pretty open to me honestly. i don’t like ones that depict irl historical events, and i’m picky with period plots, but that’s about it. throw anything my way and i’d be happy to share my ideas too! i do love plot lines that focus on the character building aspect of things over having a clear motif in the plot, but i’m happy to have a plot with a promised end goal too! whatever floats your boat certainly floats mine, i also keep an open mind so don’t be afraid to share.

my literacy is literate to advanced literate. i like to include details, and i’d love if you do too! i’m honestly okay with any length so long as it’s 50+ words at least. i write in third person, and don’t really mind if you roleplay in first-person and will try to mirror it.

my timezone is gmt+3, and i’m online mostly either at night or too early in the morning (i don’t sleep for long). i do have a semi-busy schedule, with classes and a part-time job, but i do try to reply at least once a day! if i miss out for whatever reason, just send me a message and i’ll be there. i tend to forget checking most messages, i’m sorry about that lmao. i do have some medical issues however, and if anything comes up related to them, i will mention them beforehand (or if they’re flaring up bad, maybe a little after that).

a few other simple things i’d like to mention: i’m a rebel against all norms and conventional tropes, so please don’t expect me to like sticking to typical dynamics! i’m literally all for beefy guys who look all tough and intimidating but are soft and sweet and whiny— or hyper-fem tops with a thing for being mean! or really anything of that sort, i honestly don’t mind it.

another thing that’s a follow-up on the precious point— not really okay with heteronormative stuff, even if it isn’t meant to seem that way it just makes me uncomfortable if i catch onto it. most of the time i know it’s not intentional, and i’ll def mention it if that’s the case, but it’s really nothing personal! just an ick of mine.

1. 🌿︰Please don’t directly control my muse ₊˚✿

From what I read, godmodding is where you control more of the environment or situation, I’m alright with that but controlling the actions or thoughts of my muse is off limits. I care deeply about my muses and it irks me when someone misrepresents their character, since I put a bit of myself into most of my ocs.

2. 🥛︰No op muses₊˚✿

First off, I’m completely ok with characters that have op powers for more comedic purposes, it’s a bit hard to explain but a example of what I mean is like Saiki K or Mob, even then they must have some sort of drawback, may that be a physical one, mental or social one.

3. 🐚︰Don’t drastically change any established relationships ₊˚✿

This is more for canon muses with other canon muses, for example since Sanji is a muse of mine, roleplaying with a Zoro, I’d find it extremely weird for them to suddenly be very affectionate or buddy buddy if that makes sense. While yes, they respect each other and are nakama, that just isn’t their relationship, its complex. For ocs, unless stated they know each other in some way, they’d likely start off as strangers so they shouldn’t be close right off the bat.

4. ☁︰Give me something to work with! ₊˚✿

I’m ay-okay with short sentences/replies, I completely understand that sometimes it’s hard to get out a response but please please give me something I can build upon, it stumps me when that happens and can even at times make me very disinterested in continuing the roleplay.

I’ve had too many roleplay partners dip without a word, it normally always ends with me giving up after 2 check up messages and deleting the dm, I understand life can get hectic and flip onto its head, I’d just really appreciate a heads up.

I’m willing to write with anyone no matter your writing, formatting, and image use (or lack of). I’m okay with one-liners, crack, multi-para, novella… everything! Feel free to send in any ask memes if we haven’t roleplayed before & even if it’s shippy. Ask memes are a great way to break the ice so I really don’t mind. If I follow you that means I want to rp with you so if you’re ever unsure and worried you might be bothering me, don’t. I’m cool with following/interacting with other Ayato writers.  

If I haven’t replied in two weeks (and I’m not on a hiatus) that means I probably lost our thread or it’s sitting somewhere in my drafts and I haven’t noticed it, so please message me to remind me about it. I won’t be annoyed or upset. I drop RPs sometimes out of a loss of interest but please don’t blame yourself. It is always a personal thing that has nothing to do with anyone else as a roleplayer. I’m always happy to start/write more regardless of dropping previous threads.

*He is used to the fast-paced environment and a comforting presence for many in the Battle Subway he oversees with his twin brother. However, his time during and after Hisui resetted his system and preferences, thus, he enjoys the quiet more now.

*He is innovative and passionate, making him a feared opponent.

*He enjoys approaching every constant with change, and he is prone to getting lost in thought and philosophical mental discussions. He is fond of Emmet and how he entertains the passengers, but Ingo enjoys encouraging them and trying to rope them into his philosophical questions more.

He likes to reconsider and go over the problems at hand, making him question things he already knows; this sometimes tires others, however, he DOES enjoy talking and deep conversations.

*His natural expression is a relaxed frown, and he hates that people find him stiff. However, a part of him enjoys being slightly intimidating. He does not there to entertain people.

*He is extremely responsible, loyal and hardworking. He is prone to burnouts due to this, like his brother.

He likes people who can share the serene solitude of his with some deep conversations. *He is caring, and loves to serve others, likes his brother. However, unlike Emmet, this does not entail entertaining the others, but helping them with heir own processes. Like Emmet, taking his time to go over his opponents’s strategies after the match, and happily answering any question about Pokemon battle strategies are his favorite pasttime.

*Innovative. Does not like repeating himself and his methods, thus, he is always after surprising the people he likes.

*Ingo LIES. As long as his ideals and principles are aligned with the lie he tells, Ingo is a terrifyingly good liar. He also likes to take the lead and making a change, and having some white lies to exaggerate the issues and problems does the trick most of the time.

*Ingo feels likes he can do anything he puts his mind to with Emmet by his side. Ingo takes the lead and makes the big decisions, or propose new ideas, because Emmet feels more at home with execution of ideas and making them real than he is with coming up with ideas.

*Ingo does not mind being lied to, if the intentions are good and the lie did not cause harm in the process. However, he WON’T take it kindly if the lie somehow involves Emmet and his well-being. Call it the big brother instinct, but Ingo will only take the truth for an answer to protect Emmet better.

History: Emmet and Ingo were born to a wealthy family, with high expectations and no space for self-expression. However, Ingo found his interests lying in books and stories, and when he can read a book in peace, he can tune out the outside world. This, however, makes him an escapist, and sometimes causes problem that could have been easily solved a bigger challenge than necessary.

His sibling rivalry (lighthearted and fun one) started long ago, as Ingo fed Emmet lies about how he would choose a grass-type pokemon, only to choose water to rain on Emmet’s parade–and Emmet’s Tepig. Which made Emmet get closer to their childhood friend Elesa, who had electric-type Pokemon (Emolgas), to challenge and win against Ingo.

When they were approaching their 20s, Emmet and Ingo decided to respectively live their truth and follow their ideals, which led to them to run away from home and reinvent themselves.

Ingo chose his name to signify the ongoing process of his life and ideals. Both a train pun (“ingoing”) and with a deeper meaning (From the Germanic *Ingwaz, possibly meaning “ancestor”.), he wanted to make his mark and tell the world that his legacy started NOW.

Till they landed a job together at the Battle Subway, Ingo took on tutoring the children on Pokemon Battles. He realized he liked the act of teaching and passing his knowledge to the next generations. He does not see himself as a family man with kids, but he is always on a look-out for his protégé.

VERSES

The Twin Trouble (Pre-PLA / Hisui Verse): The Subway Bosses conducts one of the biggest and toughest battle facility in Nimbasa City. Ingo pursues the ideal battles, and tries to create new ways and flairs to add. He wants to make sense of the world around them, thus, he enjoys when his philosophical questions are met with thoughtful responses from like-minded individuals.

Memories Faded (Hisui Verse- Takes Place During Ingo’s disappearance): Ingo does not remember how it happened, but he found himself in Hisui, a region whose name he had never heard… All he could remember was his own name. With the natural affinity he had for taming Pokemon, he was taken in by the Pearl Clan, allowing him the resources to make progress at making sense of his situation. He eventually became a warden, but he feels this is far from his true purpose. He is searching for the past he forgot, and tries to leave clues of his existence, though, he does not remember for whom.

He also grows his hair during this time, though he likes having short hair. His reflection with the long hair jogs his memory, for some reason.

Back Home (Post-PLA, Reunited with Emmet): After years, Ingo returns, but does so without his memories. He is met with someone in white, who is both overjoyed and yet troubled by his return. Ingo tries to make sense of this new, unfamiliar world after following a path of solitude for years, and… tries to understand if the forgotten bonds can be made anew. He fears disappointing his ‘brother’ and his ‘friends’, but, really, he cannot even remember who they were to him.

i don’t shy away from disturbing/gory/traumatic topics. i don’t see it as a moral failure to write it. however, i won’t write: minor/adult, graphic noncon, and incest outside of backstories and such.

needless to say, this is a 18+ only blog. i will not interact with anyone under the age of 18, 21+ preferably.

i’m just a little bit on the awkward & shy side and may have a hard time reaching out for plotting. what i do to mitigate this is generally interact with posts and send in icebreaker asks.

i’ll also reblog plenty of memes, post starter & inbox calls, and my interest check so that there’re always opportunities to get things going.

i love love love to talk about mashing our muses together, so even though it can be hard for me at first, i’m always down to chat

if there's an occasion i don't respond to a message, it's usually because i've fallen asleep, got hella distracted, forgot, am hyperfocused on replies, having health problems, etc. it's never deliberate. please feel free to nudge me.

Shipping. 

i love to ship, honestly. i am always down. if you think our muses would mesh well, by all means - please come yell at me! i probably ship it already anyway.

communication but mostly chemistry are needed for romantic shipping, as kaede is a bit of a pain when it comes to this - he’s only easy sometimes, and really the only way for him to 'love' your muse would be if they're just as obsessed with him as he is them.

there are a couple of things i do not consider shipping right off the bat. flirting isn't shipping. hell, i don't even think our muses boning a couple times is shipping. i don't consider it a ship unless we talk about it, basically.

toxic ships are super welcome! 

i do not ship minor/adult, except platonically as mentor-student or family.

every ship is in its own universe, disconnected from all others, and i do not treat any one ship as more important than another.

Verses. 

this blog is multiverse (working on the page), though jujutsu kaisen will be the primary.

i’m happily oc, crossover, au, and canon friendly, so if you want to do things in a different verse, i’ll make one if i don’t have one already! 

Godmodding. 

so long as we talk about it before hand or it advances the thread, i don’t particularly care about godmodding or powerplaying. it just has to make sense for our plot.  

kaede is strong, but there are others who are stronger - and crueler - and i won’t ignore that if the power scale is such. your muse can overpower mine? dope, they should, actually! besides, he’s a dex build. he’ll put up a good fight, but he’ll probably lose.

Drama/News/Triggers.

if there’s something i don’t want to see, i will simply not see it, no matter what it is, be it the news, internet beef, or things that make me feel like ass for one reason or another. i don’t engage with any of that stuff; i have a personal blog for that sorta thing.

also, i do not have any written triggers & no tumblr post is going to send me down a spiral. i’ve been through a lot, but i’m a ‘power through it’ type, so even if i do see something, it’s ultimately whatever.

this is a small disclaimer.

i’m not caught up to the manga by any means, so there may be some things i don’t know or will get wrong - please let me know if something doesn’t gel quite right. 

please note that i put him together carefully so he wouldn’t interfere much with jjk’s main plot, though i’d be happy to plot something out. 

as kaede will ever be a work in progress, his about page is subject to change. all abilities and techniques are accumulative and an attempt at originality

i will apologize in advance for kaede being a complete brat at times, as he is a bit emotionally stunted and struggles particularly hard with forming solid relationships, be they platonic or otherwise. there's a lot of fear there for him.

Inunaki.

you’ll see mentioned in a few places something called ‘the inunaki incident’. it’s about the mid-point of kaede’s personal storyline, and is a hefty bit of mixed character development i’m saving for a later date - fair warning: i’m a big fan of tragedies. i do have a posted timeline for his life (mostly just summaries), and i will be going over parts of it in the future. ultimately, the plan is to answer the questions: do i have the strength to keep going anyway? is my sacrifice worth the consequence? was this unavoidable, or could i have done something to change it? how much guilt and responsibility can one person assume before it utterly destroys them? i have fun seeing how many different ways i can answer them. 

Credits.

i like to draw, sometimes a lot - but i am notoriously horrendous with most poses, so i end up using/relying on references - which i very ardently do not claim as my own. some poses i reference belong to kate-fox on dA, however i also use personal photographic references (pictures i’ve taken myself), anime/video game screenshots, and, on occasion, porn, as i cannot draw the human body or faces from memory (combined visual processing + memory issue). where i can afford it, however, i do commission artists instead - in fact, i much prefer it. all graphics were arranged by myself; likewise, kaede’s faceclaim belongs strictly to mangaka yanase seno. i also have commissioned art of him done by @okaerin, which serves as my current dash icon! icon borders by @paletterph

as stated in our GUIDELINES, “if there has been 7 days of no eligible IC posts (a reply, solo, or meme answer of at least 150 words) at the time of an activity check, you will be included in the weekly post and cleared” and this is the guideline we will usually follow for activity checks.

however as mentioned in our opening post for our first activity check on september 9th, everyone who was accepted between september 1st (when we opened) and the 9th would only be required to post an intro in order to not be cleared (then after that, an IC post each week was required to pass activity checks going forward).

in anticipation of our second activity check on the 16th, we reminded everyone in this notice about it, as well as what we would be using as a guideline to determine activity which was that “ANYONE WHO JOINED BEFORE SEPTEMBER 9TH is required to have at least one (1) in character post (since september 9th) in order to pass this week’s activity check. ANYONE WHO JOINED ON/AFTER is required to have just an intro up!”

as such, we cleared any members who had not made a new IC post between the 9th and 16th but did say in the tags (of the activity check post) that anyone who felt they were wrongly cleared could contact us to remain in the group and be re-added to the master list without needing to reapply. anyone who was cleared is also free to reapply at any time!

that being said, as admins, it is not our responsibility to (nor does it say anywhere that we will) chase down and message every member who might be in danger of being cleared for inactivity - especially in cases like this past activity check where a third of our roleplay was cleared. not only would it be a lot of people to keep track of in terms of who replies or doesn’t reply to us if we did, we still have our own lives and other commitments and hobbies which means we aren’t always hanging around the main or have the time and energy to do that (although we do try to reply to any messages/asks we receive as soon as possible and in a timely manner).

if you know you will not be able to post within the coming week(s) but want to remain in the roleplay, PLEASE message us to ask for a hiatus! you do not need to give us a reason or explain why you need one and if you don’t give us an expected return date, we will give you the maximum time allowed for a hiatus which is 1 month. however, we cannot know if something is going on in your life that is preventing you from being active if you do not let us know!

additionally, we wanted to add that THOSE WHO RETURN FROM A HIATUS may or may not be required to have an IC post up based on when they return:

if you are returning 3 DAYS OR LESS BEFORE AN ACTIVITY CHECK, you will NOT be expected to have an IC post up (but feel free to)!

if you are returning 4 DAYS OR MORE BEFORE AN ACTIVITY CHECK, you WILL be expected to have an IC post up!

this is because we believe four days allows enough time to write reply, starter, or solo and while three days is doable, we are willing to provide some leniency in that regards. we’ve also removed the rule about no posts made on the day of an activity check counting as activity to make things easier for everyone but if we notice anyone consistently only posting the bare minimum each week to not be cleared, you will be warned and/or cleared!

SECOND MUSES

now! this is probably the part many of you will care about more--and i don’t blame anyone who does--but please do give the activity section a read! 😭

starting this wednesday september 22nd, ANYONE WHO WAS ACCEPTED ON SEP. 1ST CAN APPLY FOR A 2ND MUSE! as such, we are now accepting reserves for your 2nd. however, you MUST RESERVE ON YOUR 1ST MUSE’S ACCOUNT so we can verify that you meet all the requirements to take on a 2nd!

in addition, the following information should be taken into account when reserving/applying for your 2nd muse:

your muses can be from the same kingdom if you choose but please respect any caps currently in place (such as there being a cap on muses from the hearts kingdom right now, until we reach a more even ratio of muses in the clover & spades kingdoms)

members can have up to 2 muses based off a premade, provided there are still a decent amount available at the time of reserving/applying (we say “up to 2″ in case we ever allow members a 3rd muse in the future)

while we’re allowing reservations for 2nd muses now, you CANNOT APPLY FOR IT UNTIL THE 22ND (for those who were accepted on the 1st)! if you were accepted on the 2nd, you can start applying on the 23rd, and so on - just count 3 weeks from the day you were accepted if you’re not sure what date you’re allowed. reserves will also only be allowed within 5 days of when you’re allowed to apply for a 2nd muse, as anything before then will expire before you will be eligible for it!

hello! maybe you’re thinking about joining this group, but you’ve never roleplayed on discord before. maybe you have, but want to know how ours works specifically. either way, you’ve found a guide to roleplaying in our group! hopefully this helps you, makes the group a little less intimidating, and makes it easier to join!

DISCLAIMER: rph’s/etc may reblog this as a guide if you’d like, but remember this is specific to MY roleplay. this is not how ALL discord rps will be set up. still, it may be similar. 

let’s get started...

to begin, i’ll introduce you to how the group works and the general vibe.

smoke hills is set in a good sized trailer park in an average sized town. it’s small enough everyone knows each other through someone else, and offers a space for a very diverse range of characters.

this group specifically relies on member plotting to remain alive. because we don’t have a moving dashboard to remind people we are active and moving, we need players that are willing to plot with each other! most people mute threads that aren’t their own, and it’s easy to forget anyone is doing anything. therefore, it’s up to you to keep your characters alive!

we want to open the floor for all types of characters, and we want to see them develop! so we will frequently have events and tasks to further character development and encourage plotting. 

and before you ask -- no you do not have to create a whole new discord for characters to play here! there is a bot called Tupperbox, where you can set up different characters! as many as you want! you’ll create a name and avatar for them, and by typing in their brackets, you will appear as said character! this can be difficult to set up, but i promise it’s so easy once you get used to it. we will help you with this once you get into the group.

so, how do we plot and do threads?

for plotting, you can either dm people in the group, found in the members list on the side of discord like this:

or you can use our #plotting channel to ask for dms, ask for plots, or talk about plots!

open starters? yep! we have a channel for open starters, labeled #OPEN STARTERS. how this works is you post an open starter in the channel, and when you’d like to reply to one, you will simply react to it (similar to notes, so people know if it’s been replied to or not), put it in the appropriate location (which i will get to next), and @ the person who posted it!

now, for threads, the discord is set up by location. we have lots of locations in burnwood (the town the trailer park is set in). you’ll never be short of places to roleplay in, and if you think of more you’d like, you can suggest it! 

whenever you’re ready to start a thread, whether it’s replying to an open or you’re making a closed starter, all you have to do is click that little +, and start a new thread for you and your partner! when people make new threads for their characters, feel free to mute it if you don’t want the notifications for other people’s threads. 

when your threads are finished, you’ll move them to the COMPLETED THREADS category!

you can even do text threads!

gifs, icons, etc, are not required! in fact, they’re hardly used! however, you can if you’d like. it’s entirely up to you!

but what about characters? we have no blogs!

no worries! this is what character channels are for! we have two categories, A-M, and N-Z! 

here, you can post your bio, musings, pictures, music, literally whatever you want to! 

how does ooc work?

we have an ooc category and channels like every other group that has a discord! feel free to go nuts in here, we’re happy to have the conversation! if you don’t want the notifs for ooc but want notifs for your threads, all you have to do is mute that channel specifically!

and events/tasks? i don’t see how that works here.

i know that seems very confusing. no worries! 

for every event, we will post the summary in an events category, and then create a whole new category for people to put their event threads in, where there will also be a special open starters channel. like this!

as for tasks, we have a category for that as well!

There is plenty I don’t understand about the RPC, particularly the tumblr RPC. Part of that is because I’m old and have been the epitome of the ‘Hello, fellow kids!’ meme for ages now. Even when I was a teen and in my early 20s, I felt older than my age and plenty of my interests were targeted at audiences much older than I am (see: costume dramas. I’ve been watching Masterpiece Theatre since I was in elementary school).

But here’s a few prominent ones:

- Muns who do not read rules, bio, or especially, check out a mun’s writing style before they follow and interact for threads. I understand that there are some roleplay blogs (and even personal/non-RP blogs) who follow just to lurk, for a variety of reasons. This isn’t directed at them (though I wish RP blogs were more upfront about it. It’s always disappointing reaching out to a mutual you want to write with with a meme, or answering a starter call, or even just an OOC message and they’re not interested in actually writing with you, just reading your threads. I’d rather just know in advance, to be honest!). 

This is for muns who follow, send in a prompt or starter (or write you a prompt or starter), you reply to it, and then you never hear from them again. Provided you know your tags work, there aren’t connection problems/hiatus/etc.

If you knew you were looking for a certain type of writing style or plot, why would you not read through the blog you’re looking to interact with to make sure they do that? In many, many rules pages, muns will specify what sort of writing they prefer to do and that you’ll see on their blog. Some prefer one-liners, others engage with multi-para. Some want to do sillier crack threads, others want to write more smut. Some will write romantic ships that are pre-established, others prefer them to have chemistry built up in threads. Plenty of rules are very specific about this. 

So why follow someone with the intention of interacting with them without reading and understanding those priorities first? For me personally, I’ve been faced with blogs who prefer one-liners or single para replies, or focus on smut or quickly formed romantic ships a lot, wanting to interact and then get disappointed when that’s just not how I prefer to RP. There’s no wrong or right way to RP, but muns do have preferences and interests regarding the content they want to write and read. And that’s valid.

- Muns who refuse to plot. At all. I get the appeal of ‘winging it,’ especially when you’re shy and it’s a new mun/muse to write with. What I’m talking about is when you’re either unsure of where to take a thread or you’ve reached an event that will greatly impact the other person’s muse (fight scenes, romance, etc). Even just a quick message to say “hey, are you okay with this outcome? Or this lore?” and just get a quick approval before you go that route (avoiding godmodding is always a good idea!). 

But even more than that, it’s making sure both people are happy and engaged with where the story is going. It helps generate ideas. It prevents burnout. And most importantly? You’re making a new friend in this silly hobby. I know not everyone is comfortable talking about their lives OOC and that’s fine. But being able to talk about collaborative writing is kind of essential for writing to be collaborative.

- Muns who condemn others for aging up muses. Now, I get it if it’s purely for NSFW shipping purposes. That can get irritating. But I believe that there’s arguments to be made for both natural age progression in longer interactions as well as just exploring the muse at different points in their lives. Hopefully, they’ll be different people from their childhood, to their teen years, to their twenties and beyond. They’ll have different challenges to face and how they do so may (or should) differ greatly from how they’d face such things at other stages of their lives. And that’s really fascinating to delve into. It’s why I like class reunion threads (especially with canon DR muses) quite a lot: I love seeing what became of them after Hope’s Peak in a non-despair scenario: how did life treat them once they entered the world post-graduation? Where no one really cared about Ultimates? Did they peak in high school? Go on to university? Go straight into their careers and are now wondering ‘is this what I really want to do with my life or am I doing it because I was told I’m the best at it?’.

That’s content the canon will never give us and I think is wonderful to explore. It’s not sex-focused (but sex can happen for those interested in engaging in it), it’s not the point. It’s looking at how those characters develop and change over time, for the best and the worst, that I find fascinating. I wish more muns felt the same.

how I run my blog

SPEED: I type out replies once a day a few days out of the week and I post everything in my queue. My queue posts TWICE ( @ 240p and 720p PST ) a day and I usually will post a GIFset/image and ONE REPLY. This is solely to limit how fast my responses get out and how soon I would get a response. 

This blog is a new one and with the blog  archived I was just so overwhelmed with the amount of drafts I had because I would do all my replies in one sitting and then have like 20 replies waiting for me the next day. I just fatigued and writing was not fun for me at all. Now that I have the time I am pacing myself while I pick up more threads so if you are waiting on a reply/starter it is likely in my queue and is on its way ! 

REPLIES: I do try my best to put out solid replies but sometimes I just can’t and will let you know! I am ALWAYS willing to rewrite, re-plot or just restart with something new! I try to match length but that’s just something I feel like I NEED to do but you do not need to match my length at all! TBH If I feel like my writing partner isn’t putting in any effort then I will lose interest and I think it shows because the quality of my writing SUFFERS.

My replies generally have a lot of details and I try to emphasize my boy’s inner thoughts/feelings because I am in love with details like that! Especially when it comes to his angst or hardships!

STARTERS:  I just wrote a starter a while ago and it made me realize . . . I hardly ever do it ? I generally leave starters to my partners because I feel like a bother if I start. I tend to ask a LOT of questions because I NEED to know how everything fits into place and what happens before the starter I am writing so I can frame it PERFECTLY. I just feel like it’s annoying so I usually offer them to write the starter because I am up for anything, haha. 

That said, I do love to write starters and will write 100 without batting an eye BUT I NEED ALL THE JUICY DETAILS TO CREATE A RICH AND LOVELY STARTER FOR YOU.

INBOX: I love love love memes! I think they’re excellent ice breakers and function as amazing starters! I post memes a lot but I am also slow when it comes to replying to messages in my inbox. I welcome random starters/prompts/character questions/etc. 

If you’ like to talk OOC my IM is always open for plotting or just chatting!

I am fine with anonymous messages but any hate or drama will be ignored .

SELECTIVITY:  I generally try to follow everyone because I can see Peter in so many different scenarios and interacting with different characters and fandoms. That’s what this is all about and I LOVE exploring the stories and dynamics! I don’t follow for follow, I follow because I can see Peter interacting with your character(s) somehow .

I DO NOT FOLLOW BACK personal blogs ( I check them out but I don’t follow back to keep my dash clean), the RP blogs that are exclusively for sex ( I just don’t feel like writing PWP explicit content ) and blogs that are like roleplay blogs but NOT really, the ones that post like . . .  personal/OC content that has nothing to do with the character and you can’t tell right off that bat that it’s a RP blog for a character ( if that makes sense ) .

WISHLIST: ANGST. I am always looking for ANGST, feelings, anything that lets me get into Peter’s head-space. On the flip side I am desperate for a slice of life, simple, missions, celebrating, studying/helping with homework, mentors for Peter, like . . . everything. My wish-list is EVERYTHING.

HONEST NOTE: I am anxious about approaching anyone but if you start a conversation ( honestly even a ‘ hello ’ ) I am all over it! Hello! Welcome to my ad! I apologize ahead of time if it’s very lengthy and boring, I just like to cover any base I can ahead of time to avoid future conflicts or misunderstandings. Let’s go ahead and get introductions out of the way, shall we?

  For starters, I go by Arturia online, but call me whatever. Nicknames are cool and we’re all here to have a good time with writing, so I’m not too picky with much. I’m about to turn 20 years old and I prefer she/her pronouns. I live in the Central Timezone, though am often up at odd hours. The summer is here and so I should have a fair bit of freetime for writing, plus I’ve been craving more partners to rp with, so here I am! Let me detail a bit about my basic requirements/info for rp and then I can tell you about my cravings for rp currently!

  RP Basics:

I will rp any pairing, but prefer to play as a female in either FxF or MxF pairings. Do not come to me to be simply a male in either a MxF or MxM pairing, I will drop it. If I am playing a male, I generally prefer to double.

Smut: I will write it, but occasionally prefer to fade-to-black. Needless to say, you must be 18+ to contact me for an rp. Not only for the potential for smut, but also because of the potential for darker themes to be involved. Also, I do not want a smut-centered rp, sorry. And the characters in the rp have to be of age if we’re writing smut for them. I get there’s trauma and stuff in their backstories, but I will not write that stuff for underage characters whatsoever.

OOC Chat. I love it, but will not force it. If you’re somebody who wants to be all business, that’s totally fine! Just let me know! Same goes if you wanna chitchat 24/7 and send memes back and forth, just let me know how you wanna handle this! New friends or business partners who only discuss the rp, I don’t mind either way!

Triggers/Limits: I don’t have many myself, aside from the general consensus with smut (No to anything illegal or anything with bathroom stuff, sorry but not really sorry y’all.) If you have any triggers or limits, both in regular rp and smut, let me know please!! I do not want to accidentally upset somebody, so let me know ahead of time!!

Replies. I can’t guarantee a set schedule for my replies, just due to life stuff. I will try to get one out daily, if not every other day, and will let you know if something comes up. I expect some sort of notice from you and will message you again after a week to check in unless told ahead of time otherwise. 

Writing Style. I write in Third-Person and expect you to do the same, sorry but 1st really doesn’t work for me and I cannot write 3rd against your 1st. In terms of length, that varies depending on my partner’s preferred length and the contents of the rp, but I generally shoot for at least a few paragraphs. I expect at least a few from you as well, just to give me something to work with. No one-liners or close to that, please.

Rp Method. Email or Discord. Either of those two work and are what I prefer to use. I won’t use anything else. Maybe Google Docs, but don’t rely on that. I’ll leave my contact info at the bottom of this ad!

Post-Apocalyptic: Literally craving this so bad. I want to explore a variety of scenarios that could cause an apocalypse. Maybe it starts out with zombies but turns out to be some mad scientist government figure experimenting on people and trying to take over the world to build his own world??? 

Fantasy: Anything and everything, I’m a sucker for it. Typically go for medieval fantasy, but literally shoot me your ideas. We can work on them together!

Sci-Fi: This goes sort of in hand with fantasy, but I would like to work on some sort of space pirates plot, with our characters going around saving planets and running away from various law officials.

Really, the only original genre that would be a bit difficult for me is slice-of-life. We would have to work on that and really work to keep it interesting, I don’t want to write the daily life of college students, in all honesty, I need something to keep it interesting.

[My Starter Sucks! Tips On How To Make A Successful Para Starter.]

If you’ve found yourself saying this about your starters, there’s a chance it might actually not be the best it could be. I know, it sucks, but we gotta face it. Sometimes, our starters leave something to be desired. This is a writing hobby! In order to enjoy it, we have to write, and in order to write, we have to be conscientious about our readers and roleplay partners. And that’s the TEA. Here’s a few things to consider that will help you engage other characters and increase your thread count like fine Egyptian Cotton sheets! But just like fine linen, the quality of the thread is going to give you a much more worthwhile experience than quantity of threads or muses. So let’s get right into it!

Engaging The Other Character. The other person definitely wants to interact with your character, but give them an appropriate and reasonable way for them to do so! Think about real life experiences. What makes you want to talk to other people? Another thing to be mindful of is not encroaching (intrude) on another character. It’s a turn off when you assume a character will do or say something to yours and yours is responding to that as a starter, unless it is a closed one that you mutually agreed on. That is not engaging, that is borderline godmodding. You control your character, nobody else’s.

Dialogue. I’ve seen starters that are simply “Hello. What did you say? What are you looking at? Sorry, I didn’t mean to run into you/spill my coffee on you.” Look, we’ve all done it! Nobody’s perfect. But hear me out, it’s lazy writing. Yes, this is totally a hobby and you’re allowed to be lazy sometimes, but not all the time. Instead, invite a character to talk to yours, and don’t leave the onus (burden of responsibility) on the other character entirely. Instead, try: “Did you hear that? Hey, check that out. I’m going to do this or that.” And proceed to describe exactly what your character is sensing. Talk about what they hear, see, smell, taste, feel, do.

Action. Realistically, people don’t stand around chattering nonstop, or sit and eat lunch forever. They also don’t fall into immediate attraction oftentimes. Where are they headed? How do they feel? Keep that in mind. Is this a starter that can be built on? How would one of your own characters reply to this? Would they? Now think about your peers’ characters. Keep it open ended enough that you invite a range of replies, but have a direction in mind. How do you see this thread ending?

NSFW. Smut starters are great! But everyone’s preferences wildly vary, so please be open ended and don’t be offended when people choose not to jump right into this with your character. Also, not everyone is comfortable with/wants to write smut, and that’s something we’ve all got to respect. 

Obviously, this isn’t the same approach to take when presenting a text thread starter, or a social media post starter, and you certainly don’t need to write out a long, drawn out thing. TL;DR- Be engaging, don’t just expect the other character to engage yours, and don’t encroach. Have dialogue that prompts a response. Describe what’s going on. Be mindful of your peers ooc.

It is very possible that you might write the most successful starter, but not everyone will be inclined to respond to your character regardless, and that’s okay! We have over 150 characters, after all. Please try not to take things too personally. But that’s a talk for another time. Hello everyone, I’m Beanie & it’s absolutely wonderful to meet you all! I’m very excited to bring this Walmart Deadpool  muse to the roleplay! Under the cut, you’ll find some background information and character traits about Scout. Who’s ready for clone shenanigans, lost fingers regenerating in cafeteria chili, and zany mutant antics!?! :D

| B A C K G R O U N D |

🚑 Fellow mutants from the compound may know her as Seventeen, a nickname she stubbornly gave herself to draw attention to the cloning program she was created from. There were sixteen other clones deemed “successes” to varying degrees. However, each had been relocated to organ harvesting tanks once they were made obsolete by the creation of a superior clone. 

🚑  Scout's project was an intended blueprint for future super soldiers, and thus she’s been combat trained to her limits. Not only could she totally give John Wick a wedgie, but she’s an excellent marksman and can march like nobody’s business. The program convinced her to strive for high performances by stating if she remained an “important asset”, then she would not be replaced by future clones. However, she realized years later that the scientists had lied to her. 

🚑 Scientists improved the regenerative healing factor with each clone. Scout’s mutation is the most advanced they’ve produced yet, but the near-immortality comes with multiple drawbacks that scientists hoped to eradicate with the next batch of clones. Her younger clone, whom she calls Eighteen, is still trapped inside the compound. 

🚑 Eighteen is a mere, nine year-old girl innocent to the bleak future of all clones and is often seen carrying a Mr. Potato Head toy. Since her grand unveiling, the scientists have pitted her against Scout in hopes a rivalry will encourage both their mutation’s development. Scout instead began exhibiting a protective, sisterly attitude that disappointed her creators. She preferred keeping Eighteen ignorant to the specifics of their future within the program, and was cautious never to misplace her anger upon Eighteen.

🚑 Scout was aware that the program couldn’t cause her permanent harm -- at least, not while she hadn’t been categorized as obsolete. No matter how gruesome the experiments or harsh her training, she knew that her mutation would keep her alive. Living a life of little consequence caused her to develop a facetious sense of humor that targeted scientists, guards, and her fellow inmates on the daily. She’s hardly ever serious, much to the dismay of others, and has repeatedly treated Thalia Kim’s endeavors like a joke. Scout occasionally cheered up Eighteen with trouble-making antics. Apart from that, her shenanigans were mostly for her own amusement and the only form of rebellion she could exhibit without jeopardizing her standing as an important asset. 

🚑🚑🚑 tldr; local clone with john wick-tier combat skills & marksmanship lived under constant threat of being replaced by newer, improved clones. being deemed obsolete would mean a semi-conscious immortal life of floating in an organ harvesting tank. copes with stress, fear, and the sensation that nothing matters by being kinda a dick.

🚑 REGENERATIVE HEALING FACTOR: The ability to heal and regenerate oneself, even from life-threatening injury or presumed death. I think I wrote out her strengths and weaknesses best on her application, so I’ll drop a link to that HERE !!!

🚑 She relied on a specially designed painkiller while living in the compound to manage her pain, one of the drawbacks of her ability, and is running low on supply.

| L I F E  ON  THE  O U T S I D E | 

🚑 She escaped during the summer breakout three months ago, and is currently rooming with a reformed thief serving his final days of house arrest. Gilbert was seasoned criminal, occasionally rendezvousing with the band of villains when their needs intertwined. Scout’s presence technically break one of the terms of his deal: no unauthorized visitors allowed. 

🚑 Gilbert was the one who came up with the nickname “Scout”; he caught her intruding in his house, rummaging through his pantry & eating his stock of Girl Scout Cookies. 

🚑 Since her escape, she’s become quite fond of reality television (she’s a member of Bachelor Nation 😎 ), gummy candy snacks (Gushers and Trolli 4 life), and generally feeling entitled to having fun. 

🚑 Scout avoids involvement with mutant politics and infighting, choosing instead to live an ordinary, civilian life that’s as mundane as possible. This is a final act of rebellion against her creators: the seemingly wasting of her mutation’s gift of near-immortality. Between her bouts of stubbornness, however, she grapples with questions about her existence, her purpose being alive, and cyclical guilt about her mutation.

All I ask is for you not to be mad at me. I also prefer longer roleplays, but when time does not allow for me to type out longer replies, I have nothing against one-liners as well. These, however, are more likely to be dropped or lost, even though I don’t usually drop things.

If I haven't left a reply after a week, but you see I'm still replying other stuff nor I'm on Hiatus, please let me know I haven't. We are all aware of the mess that Tumblr has always had where we can lose from drafts to tags, so please, without hesitation (and politely), if a week passes and you don't get a reply, send me a reminder.

Zero anon hate. Yeah, I know many of you think this rule is silly, but there's people who doesn't respect it at all. Any anon hate that I could receive is going to be answered with extreme sarcasm, or deleted on plain sight. I can't stand hate nor people who sends anon hate, and if you spend your time making call outs against anyone all the time, right or not, I'm going to unfollow you. You can ask mine or my muses opinion about it, but I'm not going to play, ever, any of those things sexually. With gore and violence I'm way more open since where I draw the line is that I don't do threads roleplaying scenes of rape or murder without without an EXPLICIT consent from my roleplay partner.

Please, respect me. I will respect you as much as you respect me. If you come entitled in here with an attitude to make some exigencies or complaints, I will immediately unfollow or ignore you. I need you to respect my decision if I don't want to roleplay a ship with you, if I don't want to play certain character, and SPECIALLY to respect my NOTPs. Emphasis: I really need you to respect my NOTPs. About Gore, spooky stuff, and Smut: I do the three of them and I like to read them as much as to write them. But to avoid any issues, I ALWAYS am going to use the tags {gxrden of ultraviolence}, {gxrden of nightmares}, and {gxrden of pleasure}. That way you can block those tags and have a nice day without ugly nor sexy stuff. All the spooky stuff I usually tend to write it without images, but in the weird case I decide to put any spooky pics, I would put it under Read More. In any case you see I have a post about this things untagged or without the Read More thingy, you're free to ask me nicely to tag it or activate the Read More, because I'd probably forgot, or Tumblr broke something again.

Clarifying:  all tags and Read More is going to be applied with my criteria of what I consider violent or nsfw. Not yours. If a thread makes you uncomfortable you can let me know and I’ll put on it a special tag for you to block it, but I can’t be aware of everyone’s triggers and also keep my partners happy. The best I can do is offering you a special tag.

I don't mind my threads to be read or shared. As well as I don't mind people making comments about it, sending me messages, or even adding their characters on it. But I think the right thing to do and the best way to go if you want to reply a thread with me and someone else, is to send us a message notifying us you'd like to join, so we can go and let and open window for you to sneak in.

I reserve for myself the right of giving my followback (or not). I just give my followback to accounts that catch my attention, don’t take it personal if I don’t follow you, it’s probably that your blog it’s hard to read, your narrative is confuse, or the characters too OOC for my taste and standards, or I just don’t see anything interesting for me. That doesn’t mean under any circumstances that your blog is bad or you suck at roleplay, that just means I don’t see anything accord for my tastes.

My Followback also can be lost if I see that a month has passed since we followed eachother (being me or not the first on following), if I have sent you asks, gave my like to Starter Calls, etc, and you have been uncapable of reply anything, I will stop following you because I will assume there is no interest. I don’t block anyone, so we can talk about it and discuss if you see I don’t follow you anymore, as long as we speak with mutual respect and understanding. I’m a really pragmatic and kind person, usually, but I tend to react very badly to disrespectful people because my patience to wait for threads is very big, but to speak with brats is less than zero, if that can exist. This is just for ex mutuals. Blogs I’ve never followed can talk to me and I could give them my reasons, just if I feel like it.  As well as I feel like nobody owns me explanations, I don’t own any explanations to anyone for the decisions I make.

I reply through my phone, so I can’t use Read More feature and there’s stuff that’s really complicated for me such as moving asks to a new thread. I will put under Read More or reply asks at new threads only if your rules specify it, but that means I’m going to take a lot more of time because I don’t have a computer for myself only. That being said, if you want to move one of my asks to a new thread, you don’t need to ask me, do it without problems if it’s easier for you that way. 

My muses are Multiship and Multiverse. If you wish me to have an exclusive ship or an specific AU with you, just let me know. I’m pretty easygoing with that issue so it’s really rare if I say no to something (with the exceptions I said before).

About asks of any kind, included anons: if you don’t specify a muse without even context of a fandom, I’ll choose anyone randomly, and that always include my OCs.  I do love my OCs and I love wrinting about them, and I’m not going to hold them back just cause. If you want a specific muse or certain specific interaction, at least give me a situational context to whom you would refer to; for example if there’s a thread where muse X kisses muse Y in a hallway, you can send an ask saying “I know where you kissed Y” and I’ll know a bit more clearly who are you refering to.

My blog is openly crossover, AU, and OC friendly. So I don’t need both muses to share fandoms to roleplay, nor I care if you want to throw me one of your OC to reply something, just leave me a message at the tags giving me their principal characteristics and that’ll be enough, if you send me via IM their profile, even better. I love well made OCs and I like to receive them with love. That also means I do OC x Canon relationships, but I need first to know everything about your character, and make a few tests in some threads to see if they have enough chemistry; and if you want any of my OCs to your canon, I’ll do the same.

You can choose if you play with just one of my muses exclusively, or if you play with all of them, but you must notify first. If you don’t, I’ll send you asks to interact with other characters if I think we can make something interesting, so if you do want to interact with only one of my muses, or just with the ones at an specific fandom, you have to let me know.

I have a lot of patience, so don’t mind if you take your time. I tend to reply really fast unless I have no free time or I feel badly. So as I respect you to taking a long time, I hope to receive the same respect for me and my fast replies most of the time or taking a lot depending of my situation.
