been thinking a lot about pre-commander nyra and her first bf erryk and their romance at 17, so charming together, charismatic, the it couple of the season

for reference, here’s a quick picrew of the man

for some additional info: he’s also krytan-ascalonian, he’s a mesmer, a professor, happily married to the man of his dreams, but also one of the people she keeps a semi-regular correspondance with. they’re friends even years after their amicable breakup.

me realizing i have four industry / hollywood related ocs 🧍🏽‍♀️

luciana pereira/lucy, budding starlet who never got to taste the peak of her fame before being poisoned. came back to life due to the lazarus phenomenon and has since been slowly losing her sanity due to her ability to see the dead. absolute sweetheart, very soft, think satin dresses, glitter in her eyes, starry nights. evelyn hugo + the oa brain rot inspired.

claudia johnson, not a budding starlet but an up and coming hollywood star with a bucketload of religious trauma. very sweet when you meet her but if she doesn't see any advantage to your company, the facade drops and the bitch attitude comes out. a diva, a bitch and very cut throat. will lie about someone to get what she wants by slandering their reputation. electra heart brain rot inspired.

rowan griffith, a soloist who sold himself out and betrayed his band to get the fame and fortune he so desired. used to be part of an alternative indie band that was climbing up the charts ever so slowly. but tired of his bandmates turning down offers due to morals or not wanting to change their look, he took a solo contract. it changed up his entire look, sound, everything he knows to be himself. already a man with lots and lots of anger issues, they only get worse as hollywood molds him into what they want. insanely toxic, absolute asshole, anger issues.

malee saengkaew ( thai nickname: maew ), one of the thai vocalist's of a kpop group named 8te. the entire point of this oc is to highlight the absolutely fucked up parts of the industry and highlight the extreme measures trainees have to go through to make a break into the industry. will be insanely critical and selective on interactions with malee outside of macy's oc. she's a revamped oc from years back and her story centers around the korean music industry's dark history of "sponsor deals" and body and work standards. all of this eventually leads her spiralling into a "fuck it" attitude. she's an idol that constantly ends up in public scandals because she's given up keeping up an image for the media and is only still part of the group to not break them up and because she doesn't know where else to go when so much of her life has been centred around getting here.
