its also interesting cause Hope always had a chronic vomiting issue her whole life which vets could not figure out and basically said "sometimes cats are just vomiters" and when i first moved in with my roommate, she got a LOT better (1nce a month vomit instead of daily), but it came back overtime. now that my roommate's gone... she's literally only vomited once this week

#i wonder if its an anxiety thing + something else...? #he wasn't very nice to the cats. she would chase Olive around and i could never get them to not fuck off about that #he would also just feed them deli meat. which i got him to stop partially but she would just do it when i was at work #Hope has kidney issues she really cant just eat deli meat whenever she wants its so bad for her and i dont know whats in it #could be cured could have onions and garlic in it i cant know theyre both on a strict diet dont give it to them #i even got special treats so she could give them treats that they could atleast have every once in awhile that wasnt like. deli meat #but she would STILL give them deli meat and would sometimes admit it to me if he felt guilty enough about it. wondering if that helped them #Olive's doing a lot better now that he's moved out though #i have a feeling a lot of her anxiety was just directly caused by them when i wasnt around to see or do anything about it #also despite Olive being on a different diet for weight loss she wasnt losing weight and i bet he didnt help that #sometimes they both just didnt eat their dry food and it got me really worried #but straight up i think he would just feed them whatever she wanted before i came home to feed them so they just werent hungry #also Hope's been VERY demanding whenever i take my turkey out for my daily sandwich. #which. i think is because whenever he took deli meat out they would always give them some #now that i think about it my mom ALSO would give them just like everything they asked for when they lived with her #almost certainly... not helping the stomach issue. TOBY

• Apparently he has four little sisters and a mom confirmed so far.

• Also Totally said she likes to imagine Toby as Thumper and his sisters as Thumper's sisters from Bambi II. So they chase him around as children.

• Little Toby and Two-Tone have a secret hideout to stay away from Toby's sisters

• But one day they follow them and find it

• nobody's safe

• His mom definitely insists Toby play with his sisters, so they're happy.

• Probably so they leave her alone

• Name ideas? Aria, Luella, Nayara, and Zinnia. Because they all end with a and that's nice

• No, actually. It's not nice. The sisters look really similar and their names are similar enough they can be mixed up

• Toby hates them as a kitten (and whatever the teenager stage for a cat is called), but still made sure to remember who is who

• He likes them grown up now

• For his mom, she's really sweet

• But she will beat your ass for hurting her kids

• I feel like she would value family over everything else

• Probably felt terrible that her kittens fought so much

• Totally cried when they all grew up and could leave

GINGERALE

• Been told that he has 12 siblings

• Lots of chaos

• Gingerale's used to having to share or loud cats because of them

• They're that one family that bullies each other, but if someone else bullied a member, the family would gang up to protect whoever was being bullied. Basically:

• "Yeah, really stupid"

• "Yo wtf?? That's my lil bro you're talking to"

• Family gatherings once a year?

• Yes, but it's very crowded and scary

• Gingerale's parents are very exhausted all the time

NADIA AND AIDAN

• Very generic

• It's just the twins and their parents

• They're very close knit due to the small size

• They barely fight and stuff

• He's a single child with just his mom

• Unsure of where the father went, but I have theories:

• or he was mates with Oliver's mom, but dipped eventually either by himself or both agreeing

• I like to think Oliver's mom and dad split up with both sides agreeing it was better

• Maybe they thought they were in love, but just... Weren't?

• But by that point Oliver's mom was unknowingly pregnant. Or knowingly idk.

• What if they're still friends and Oliver's seen him, just not knowing it was his dad???

• Anyway, because Oliver is an only child, he wasn't as used to being around other kittens

• So, naturally, he was anxious around em

• And his mom felt bad for pushing it, so she let him do what he wanted

• Never faced those fears

MILO

• I have no clue

• Maybe Milo was the oldest

• So, he naturally took up the responsibility of taking care of his younger siblings

• And he exercised his parenting talents

• He'd make an amazing dad, and he hasn't even been an official dad

• Basically just a babysitter (kittensitter?)

• He's used to pressure due to being the oldest

• Y'know, things to set a good example

• His parents were probably busy, idk with what, but busy

• that way he had to legit watch his siblings

CINDER

• I believe I already shared Cinder's story in the meet the characters thing

• Basically, Cinder's dad dipped when he found out the girl he's been dating was pregnant

• mans just didn't want kids ig

• Cinder had no siblings and a mom who didn't love her

• That's about it

• That's her family

• Her mom left her when Cinder was still just a kitten, and nobody knows where she is now

TWO-TONE

• He has no family

• Or family that he knows of

• It seems like Two-Tone came from nowhere

• Toby's family is almost like his adoptive family though, so he still had a bit of the experience

• Toby's sisters LOVE Two-Tone, they think he's silly, with how weird he is

• He can be really sweet too, or try to be

• At least when he gives people dandelions or wilting flowers, they know it's supposed to be a nice gift-

• Anyway, what family WOULDN'T want Two-Tone??
