I can’t get over the ‘please stop’ button in the corner of the screen in day 4 of ybg (iykyk) because peter just genuinely does care about us so much. I see people often say that fan content is quite ooc since it’s rather soft all the time but peter is soft. in the very middle of his heart, he is truly soft.
it's always been said in canon that peter is huge on consent, especially in sexual situations, despite whatever else he gets up to - but I didn't expect the game to actually have a tap out in that way. it was comfortably in character, and wonderfully incorporated depending on what route you do take to get there. I love peter so much.
due to the game having a horror core of murder and pain in many forms, you do tend to forget sometimes that all peter wants is to take you away from any real life troubles and keep you to himself. he wants to treat you like royalty and have you safe in his arms and is prepared to do anything for that to happen. only then is blood spilled, you know? to me, that’s the perfect yandere.

god i want. an au where it dosn't work. where it's just arr g'raha who's woken up, and he doesn't have all these memories and all these people keep looking at him like they're mourning someone. the world has changed and time has changed and all the people he knows have changed, but he hasn't changed, he was just sleeping, just sleeping, and the world nearly ended several times and apparently he helped prevent yet another end but he has no memory of this. they want him to join the scions. he does not know these people. (he barely knows the warrior of light, now, but did he ever truly know them in the first place?) his little sister is alive and well. she looks at him like a ghost. she's changed, and she's older than him now. he acts bratty and loud and brash to cover up the fact that he does not know anything it seems, and he is tired but he was sleeping for so long, so how could he be tired?
he doesn't know these people. they seem to know him. he wonders if he'd killed someone, when it was him and not that exarch who woke up. he wonders if it should have been him who was "killed" in that way, if it is him that lives and not that man who had known and become friends with all these figures from legend. he wonders if he'll always be fated to be a historian one step back from everything, because he simply cannot be a hero.

Is Noah ok? He seemed to be kinda phasing out a lot in the Wayne comic. And I don't think it was just because he's tired
that's just a good mix of guilt and repressed memories. sure the divorce and all that reality tv crap is long past him, but the effects those have on you don't exactly go away overnight. he still gets strung up on how his youth was practically eaten up by tacky D-list stardom just to get a quick paycheck, how that affected how he saw himself, how he treated others then, how shit he made Emma feel when they were together. seeing old faces from (mainly) Total Drama again also kind of brings it all back up (I mean its where it all started so... I mean Cody, Owen, Izzy and Eva are fine but he managed to form a bond with them far beyond that one time they were all on TV together)
he tries not to give as much of a fuck about it now, but from time to time it keeps coming back to him, and add three kids and a full time job onto that and yea, you're not exactly having the best time
(that and I headcanon him as being prone to depression anyways, so...)

Chief Chatter (Al Smiles) ref!
He was made as an Office Clown by Dizzie Izzie to do stand up comedy for toons and cogs (kinda like something they could all laugh at/with to get along with each other) at an underground comedy club, but ran away from it all after not feeling appreciated/like a real person

see chu wanning was an engineering major who started in that field because he genuinely wanted to do things to make the world better. mo ran has an engineering minor because he thinks professor chu wanning, teaching the engineering course, is hot but he would in fact be a business major because he actually doesn't give a fuck about any other person on earth.

Might be a hot take but a major character’s death is really only as good as the weight and the treatment that the narrative gives it. Sure, any author has the ability to write death as they see fit. But whether the consumer (of any given form of media) is actually able to emotionally connect and resonate with the departure of someone who has occupied a good chunk of narrative space very heavily depends on how it’s treated within the story. If it’s a major character, the narrative needs enough built-in breathing space. As in, the consumer doesn’t have to fill in the blanks as to how the death impacted the plot or the remaining characters. Let the narrative do that for them, and that would actually allow the consumer to better react and relate to that major death (sadness, anger, joy, etc). Allow the rest of the characters (who were impacted by the deceased) to react to their parting. Let them engage with the death in a manner that helps justify the character’s inclusion in the narrative to begin with. Make it clear how the character’s life and (especially) their death relate to the larger themes of the story. Because most consumers aren’t stupid. We don’t want our hands held at every waking moment, but we also don’t want our investment in a story to be insulted just for the sake of a cheap shock. Give us time to breathe and grieve. And respect that we have put in a lot of emotional investment in a story and its characters, and we deserve to have that acknowledged.

Read the snippet *cries*
That last writing with Tarrow is beautiful. In my mind was playing Farewell by Bernth and is was a struggle to not cry in public.
I just fell in love with Orion! I love his gentleness, how he just want to give comfort and just AHHHHHH!! That last paragraph just with the hope that Tarrow will see the family that still has is just gets me.
On the side note (and to laugh a little after that beautiful mini story), Crows still is a background character.
OOOOO hey i know that song!!! yeah i can imagine how that'd make it hard to exist in public with some dignity JGDLKJLCMKSL
hah, another Iterator found a way to worm its way into your heart JGKSLLCKMLKS
stars, same- the gentleness but also in the contrast of what he's gone through, what that kindness and sweetness had to endure. and he's stern and strict and some would call him a little scary when he talks to them like to some soldiers- promising that if this time around (in the off string au) someone will be caught neglecting their responsibilities like some have done with Mission Self-preservation he will be able to deal with them Personally this time. Notos won't be the only thing they'll have to worry about now. and sometimes he's a little insensitive as a result of that trauma, too. but ultimately? oh gods, ultimately he only wants everyone to be okay and taken care of as they deserve
GSLJKMCKLS fucking Crows.... leave it to the One og character i have in Moon's group to do me a favor and stay as she is meant to be
