Nothing moves me to tears like little sacrifices people make for their loved ones. When they don't like dancing but they love you so much that they don't even hesitate before holding you gently and swaying with you for a little bit while they put on your favorite vinyl record on by the end of a long day... When they cannot stand the smell of white flowers but they still buy a wardrobe freshener that smells like orange blossom because they know it would bring you comfort to snuggle your face in their sweater and sniff it a little... When they really hate getting out of bed early, yet they still join you at the balcony at 5am on a Saturday because they know it makes you happy to watch the sun rise slowly. Putting a warm blanket over your back and surprising you with a cup of delicious tea. And you can't help but laugh, a little embarrassed, a little apologetic, going "sorry if I woke you up" but they just give you a smile and a big yawn and your heart feels so full with love. And you put a radio on quietly, and you set the table for breakfast with the cutest plates you own. And as you watch them down their espresso, you tear up a little realizing over and over again how much they love you to want to see you happy more than getting the three extra hours of sleep. Or like. Whatever

okay so i was like wondering, if formal schooling isn't really a thing in crowscare and inmimb, how do people like embry's mom or dr d light get qualifications for their jobs? do people just trust that they know what they're doing or something?

also, when they're traveling together in crowscare and when dr d is traveling on his own in inmimb, when do they charge someone? like i know this is kinda silly but dr d never asks to be paid in inmimb, so was he assuming he'd be paid after treating embry's parents or something like that?

Formal schooling exists, but it's more like something you have to opt into.

Like, in the real world (and from my experience as an american) you go to school as a child and keep going until you're an adult, potentially with college afterwards.

In their world (specifically for universes like Crowscare/INMIMB that are more fantasy-esque), school is not a requirement, or is something only attended for a few years in childhood. After that it's up to the individual to decide if they want to continue schooling.

Dr. D. Light wanted to be a doctor, so he pursued medical school. I think Dr. D. Light specifically accepts payment depending on whatever time is easiest for his patients. And in a case like Embry's where "the child's parents are so sick the child had become their caretaker", he would probably feel too bad accepting any payment at all

I was obsessed with Guzma when I first got into the game, but throughout the years of struggling mentally, I just really felt like I didn't deserve to care for him.
