Earlier today I found a site selling products that had some handmade mugs and art and other porcelain stuff.... And they have collection of "Silesian mugs" that apparently are reproductions using designs from year 1937.... It really really moved me.... The fact that someone loved so many of those patterns from that very year by that one specific artist, that they decided to start producing them all over is so wonderful. They're pricey, but handmade, and have beautiful shapes that are unlikely to be found in regular stores... And you can get one and drink some warm milk before bed out of it.... and tear up a little bit knowing that there was somewhere out there a little kid probably doing the same out of the very same mug. Almost 90 years ago
