Inspection Walk Through

Wednesday we will be going on the inspection walk through for the farm.  We are set to close on Friday!!!  Our cats, Hairy and Delta, will be confused as they’re going to live in the minivan for a day as we make sure they don’t contribute an unpleasant aroma to the Broker’s Open for the Newcastle House.  

The girls have been telling us what they want to do with the property.  A friend of Angelina’s is having a haunted hike for her October birthday party.  Well now there’s an idea we’re going to steal!!!  

Alexis has already declared she wants a white bantam silky chicken.  If it gets her excited about the farm, she can have three of them.  Aunt Petra already gave the girls gift certificates to the https://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/index.html hatchery.  We have all been shopping for chickens.  I had NO IDEA that turkeys can get upwards of 40 pounds!  Good to know since Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday!  

Annabelle has been wishing for a tree house.  We can’t decide if she wants one like a pirate ship “Walk the plank!” has been mentioned and Alexis thought walking the plank over the trampoline would be a good idea.  The other wish was for one shaped like a castle.  Sounds like a work party might be in order.  Anyone have an in with https://www.nelsontreehouse.com/ ?

And now for the ORBS. One legend about Afterglow Vista is that blue orbs appear over the chairs, usually at night. As we were snapping photos we were surprised to see blue orb-like flares appear when we went to look at our pics. My skeptic mind thinks it’s probably just a weird lease flare, but I gotta admit it’s pretty coincidental since I’ve never noticed this in any of my photos before. After ferrying to San Juan Island we drove to the far end of the island near Roche Harbour where Afterglow Vista (the Mausoleum of the McMillan Family) is located. There’s a short hike to the Mausoleum that begins, fittingly, through a graveyard and it was during this hike that this strange music started playing in the woods for no reason. It lasted for over 6 minutes and the further into the woods we got the music never seemed to get any dimmer.
