I was looking at someone's post on a social media astrology page. The person has Saturn in the Ascendant opposing Venus in the 7th. Saturn rules the 7th. Her post had all these negative Saturn mentions and a wish that the horoscope consisted of all sextiles and trines. It was written as if the person thinks a horoscope determines what you will wear next Tuesday or have for dinner on October 3rd.

You can see my response. It's too bad that so many think that they are pawns of a fate delivered by planets. This is the result of so many people writing in books and on web sites that this is good and that is bad.

Good and bad are in horary and Electional astrology, not in natal horoscopes. The only way to really learn is by failing, having a bad experience, etc. It's like with a pro sports team that gets on a losing streak. It causes them to really study film, have more intense practices, etc. Then, they start learning. It's the same way with hard aspects in a horoscope. They are actually gifts that tell you what to do to grow, evolve, and be the best you that there can be.
