Saw another poll that asked what your natural hair color was with half the choices being shades of blonde and that just won't do. Let's go about this the professional way (this does not describe tone but tones are based off this level system). Some natural levels fall in between these, as human variation will do, but go with what you believe is closest.
Feel free to describe your tone in the tags!
*some level systems include levels 11 and 12 but these are strictly to describe shades lightened above a level 10 and are not considered on the naturally occurring spectrum for hair aside from going lighter with age

I was just looking at the 19th century line drawing illustrations of Pride and Prejudice by the Brock brothers (Charles Edmund and Henry Matthew) and I notice that they both seem to have drawn Elizabeth as a blonde and Jane as a brunette.
Of course nowadays, even though their hair colors are never mentioned in the book, the popular image of brunette Elizabeth and blonde Jane are so entrenched in Austen fandom that people complain every rare time an adaptation departs from it.
To be honest, I'm fine with either mental image. Of course the widespread trope of "sweet blonde, sassy brunette" makes sense of that trope, as does the association of golden hair with traditional beauty standards, since Jane is supposed to be the classic beauty while Elizabeth's good looks are less conventional. But dark hair also suits Jane's gentle, reserved personality, while blonde or at least lighter hair could suit Elizabeth's livelier, more playful temperament.
Was the trope of "sweet blonde, sassy brunette" less common in the 19th century than it is today? Or... since the 1940 film version cast a redheaded Elizabeth with a brunette Jane, and the 1980 miniseries cast a light brown haired Elizabeth with a dark brown haired Jane... was that trope just not widely applied to these two characters until the ever-popular 1995 miniseries did it?

The majority on my poll has spoken—here’s my chart up to this point, featuring our first WHITE haired main Cure! 🤍 I’ve also split up the purple haired girls. I think it looks pretty.

On Instagram, Megan Fox delights her fans not only with regularly changing hair colors, but also with sexy photos. But at the latest snapshot, many followers held their breath for a moment. But the reason was definitely not the skimpy bra that the actress was wearing in the selfie.
Unvarnished Fox Makes Fans Freak Out. The 37-year-old presented herself in the photo (almost) without make-up. Only a little gloss shimmered on her lips. A rarity.

I guess Archie has been at it longer in the second one, though I do still have to ask about the more even ratios for hair colors. I hesitate to speculate.

Inspired by a poll in the Hamlet tag about the hair color of Horatio, I thought I'd ask for people's favorite hair color combinations for the two most famous lovers in fiction.
These obviously aren't the only possible combinations, but they're as many as I was allowed to list, all taken from the various film versions, paintings, illustrations, or stage productions of the play.
