LOVE your comics. Funny, witty, endearing and full of heart.
A few questions for the FAQ that took me (who is only casually familiar with pokemon) a long time to figure out, that might be helpful to others
Q. What does hanamusa mean (followed by 'what are the characters' names in japanese?)
Q. What's the status between Jessie, James, Meowth and Giovanni?
Q. Who (if anyone) do Ash travel with at this point of his life?
And then a few questions that are not really for the FAQ but I'm curious about anyway :-)
Q. What aspect of not living alone will take Delia longest to get used to?
Q. What aspect of not living a life on the roads will take Jessie longest to get used to?
Q. Is there anything James, Jessie and Meowth miss from their old Team Rocket days?
Q. Did James and Meowth ever take it upon themselves to "help" with Jessie's and Delia's budding relationship?
Ooh these are good ones!! Thanks for the suggestions!
And to answer your questions:
What aspect of not living alone will take Delia longest to get used to?
I imagine Delia has a very particular way she likes things organized/cleaned/done. She didn't think she was particular until Jessie, James and Meowth moved in. She had to really adjust to Jessie's habits. Jessie's not the messiest person but definitely not as clean as Delia.
What aspect of not living a life on the roads will take Jessie longest to get used to?
Not having to fight for food. I feel like early on whenever food was around she'd scarf everything down way too quickly out of fear of some random Pokémon (or James and Meowth) taking it. It takes Delia a while to convince her that the food wouldn't be going anywhere LOL
Is there anything James, Jessie and Meowth miss from their old Team Rocket days?
I think they'd occasionally miss life on the road and being outside. And to a lesser degree, not feeling guilt about stealing/petty theft hahaha
Did James and Meowth ever take it upon themselves to "help" with Jessie's and Delia's budding relationship?
James has! As Jessie's friends they both definitely tell Jessie to just shoot her shot. Then every once in a while, subtly tell Delia things about Jessie that might help her to gain Jessie's affection.

I absolutely don't mean this in a bad way, but I think a lot about how Pokemon is a power fantasy for kids. And I know this is obvious because it's a game for children, but let me ramble.
Think about it: you can go wherever you want, knowing you're safe because your Pokemon will protect you. In the later games, you can dress however you want and express yourself freely. You can connect with nature and communities of friendly kids and adults around you. You can make a meaningful, positive impact on the world. You can stand toe-to-toe with adults who, in real life, would ignore or even belittle you because you're just a kid. (And, of course, you have superpowered pets that love you.)
I think about how in the original games, Brock and Misty are presented as kids/young teens and become friends with Ash. But, Lt. Surge presents a difficulty spike-- if you chose Bulbasaur, you can easily sweep the first two gyms with it, but now you don't have a supereffective match up unless you plan more. I think it's meaningful, then, that Lt. Surge is portrayed a big, scary adult man and military to boot. In the anime, he's presented as being condescending and intimidating toward Ash. But, you as the player are able to overcome this intimidating man through the power of your Pokemon. The same can be said for people like Team Rocket and Giovanni-- Giovanni's original sprite in Red & Blue makes it look like he's looming over you, sneering at you.
It can easily be forgotten by adult fans, but you're seeing this world through the perspective of a child. Giovanni looming over you represents how it feels to be a child, powerless, and face an adult who's cruel to you. But you defeat him at every match up.
Satoshi Tajiri would go on to say that Pokemon was inspired by his childhood, in which he'd go out and collect bugs. Miyamoto would say that the first Zelda game was inspired by his childhood in which he'd explore the local area and caves and so on.
It makes me sad to think that, as the world becomes more modern, more urbanized, and (as parents tend to see it, at least) more unsafe, this childhood that inspired these classic games become further out of reach for kids. When I was growing up, I lived in a suburb full of concrete. I couldn't walk anywhere, and even if I could, my mother was too anxious to let me just go around unsupervised.
This is why getting the bike is such a big moment in Pokemon-- you can go so much farther as a kid on a bike! But, I also could only ride my bike up and down my boring street before running into a major street full of cars going 50 MPH that would have murdered me instantly.
This isn't a doom post. I still believe that we can repair the damage that capitalism and cars have done to the world. But, I think that in times like this, it's more important than ever for kids to have access to these power fantasies, these escapes from a world that they have no ability to fix, but still suffer from regardless.
Ironically, I think that when I play Pokemon now, I play it to feel smaller rather than to feel bigger, the opposite of how I played it as a kid. Now, it's comforting to escape from work and stress into a world in which your only concerns are walking to the next town, catching a new Pokemon, and maybe fighting a gym leader. The same can be said of any piece of media that someone is nostalgic for, but I think Pokemon feeds into it well because its design is so baked in the experience of being a child.
When I'm playing Pokemon, especially when replaying an old game, I still remember things like only saving in Pokemon centers so that my character could sleep there in a nice building, or imagining them setting up camp if I had to save and quit on a route. If I had time, I would feed my Pokemon some Pokeblocks or etc. at my little 'camp' so they wouldn't be hungry (which is why I felt like the cooking and camping systems from SwSh were so real for me, haha).
I don't think that there's a 'wrong' way to play Pokemon-- I know people enjoy competitive Pokemon, and strict challenge runs, and stuff. And I can enjoy that, too! But, for me, Pokemon is about childhood, you know?

I'm very worried about what kind of punishments Jericho had to go through when he was under Team Rocket's control
There weren't any whippings or torture methods if that's what you’re worried about. That would've gone against what Giovanni was trying to do. There was more psychological abuse than physical.
There were very little things that gave Jeo pure joy or entertainment while with TR, but he was given the privilege to own a few things, like books. He loves to read, to learn, but when he made mistakes or didn't perform a task/mission to Giovanni's expectations, his books would be taken away. Like a strict parent punishing their child for getting a B+ on their math test.
I have mentioned before that he had a lot of physical training as well as training with his powers. Another example of a punishment does involve some physical abuse. Again, if Jericho didn't perform something exemplary, they would put him through extra combat training, purposely against pokemon with his type disadvantages, and he would be beaten until he could no longer stand.
Of course, being the manipulative mastermind Giovanni was at the time, he convinced Jericho that these punishments were good for him and would help him learn from his mistakes to be able to do better and improve himself, making it sould like the most confidence building/uplifting thing, and that these punishments were the ONLY effective way to "teach" him. Thus giving Jeo the false mentality that he always needed to be better and stronger at everything than everyone else. Cause if he wasn't, he would be "disciplined."

Comic I gave up on cause I lost my train of thought :p Basically a BW2 AU where instead of mind control, Ghetsis bonds with Kyurem. Should be simple enough, after all an empty creature like it won't be able to object to its will being taken away. "Why's Giovanni there?" Neo Plasma is 90% Rocket members next question *shot* Basically Gio and Gcis had met some time after BW and agreed to work together. Gio would lend Gcis his forces and in exchange he could keep all the "liberated" pokemon for whatever he wants.
Now Kyurems been captured and everything's been set for the experiment. The two join Colress in his lab for the experiment. Giovanni does not trust this man one bit, but Gcis can do whatever he wants with his resources.

There was more to it w it turnin into a battle between Kyurems emptiness and Gcis's will to survive/conquer as the cold from Kyurems powers started taking Gcis over but my brain fukin moved on fghj Here are some older doodles that go after this basically

Pokemon Card of the Day #3091: Dark Gengar (Neo Destiny)
Tumblr media
Dark Gengar hit far less hard than you'd normally want out of a Stage 2. Despite that, it was one of the scariest Pokemon to face as it could just pick what it wanted to hit and even had a stronger version of Sleep to work with. While the low damage output did cause problems, it was just enough to make using Cleffa or any other Baby Pokemon a giant risk, which changed the way people had to play against it. That alone was enough to make something a dangerous threat.
70 HP was very low for a Stage 2. Rocket's Hideout could help with that, notably getting the number out of Magcargo range as long as the Stadium was in play, but the bulk still wasn't winning any awards. At least Dark Gengar didn't have a Weakness to worry about. The Fighting Resistance could be nice when something like Giovanni's Machamp or Donphan showed up. It also blocked damage from Tyrogue, but you probably wouldn't want to use Tyrogue in a match-up against this for other reasons anyway. The Retreat Cost was 2, which was doable sometimes but having Warp Point or the like was nice if you could fit it.
Deep Sleep was the one Pokemon Power that made Sleep worth it. If any Dark Gengar was in play on either side of the field, 2 coins had to be flipped for a Sleeping Pokemon between turns. It only woke up if both were heads, which was just 25%. It was also only 44% to wake up within 2 turns of flips, which meant Dark Gengar made Misdreavus somewhat usable. This was good since Dark Gengar itself struggled to damage certain Pokemon even with the free turns it got from Sleep.
Pull In was one of the wilder attacks of the era. It only did 30 damage for 3 Psychic Energy, which wouldn't have been enough without all the extra effects. The first one was that you could switch in one of the opponent's Benched Pokemon with their Active Pokemon and damage that instead if you wanted. The Baby flip only counted if the original Pokemon was up front, so if someone had a Baby Pokemon on the Bench it could just be taken down without that check. You didn't have to force the switch if there wasn't a great target or wanted to fish for Sleep on whatever was up there, because either way the Pokemon you hit was now Asleep. This had the potential to take Prizes off Cleffa and Pichu and the like, and the hope with other things was to wear them down and hope coin flips went well. Odds were solid due to Deep Sleep.
The issue with Pull In was that is was rather weak, giving the opponent a lot of turns to try to break through. Originally people paired this with Slowking to mess with Trainers that could help with switching out of Dark Gengar, but Slowking now gets the errata so Noctowl is the modern take on the idea. Darkness-types, as well as anything with Metal Energy attached, didn't really care much, and having just one or two of those in play with nothing else could be nearly impossible to break through without going for the lucky Misdreavus play. That meant that despite being devastating to some things, Pull In wasn't going to do a lot against others, making back-up a necessity.
Dark Gengar had its problems, but the positives were so good that it was generally viewed as one of the better cards to build around. Without something like Steelix, Mewtwo, or Umbreon you really were going to need some luck to get through all the coin flips while being worn down, and even Cleffa became a liability. There was always some hope when facing Dark Gengar with a strong attacker, however, as the bulk wasn't great and one free turn could wipe a Stage 2 out. These things simply kept Dark Gengar in check, and this was something you probably did not want to face due to all the luck needed to actually beat it.

The idea of these three working together is just so amusing:
Lysandre: *attempted genocide, almost blew up Pasio, and flash-boiled two people alive (with heavy implications he'd have done the same to a third person IN FRONT OF A CHILD)*
Lusamine: *froze dozens of not hundreds of Pokemon going by her room, and was super controlling/abusive to her two kids, tho she did get better/is actively trying to repair that relationship*
Rose: *just wanted to find a good source of energy and improve the lives of people, isn't like he actually knew who Giovanni was at first or even really had any substantial reason to distrust him aside from Oleana getting suspicious vibes* What is wrong with you people?! 😱
-----
Lysandre: Sometimes, in the course of human events, some people get boiled alive. 🤷‍♂️
Lusamine and Rose: WHAT
-----
Lysandre, having dinner with Rose to discuss some technological collab project: I can't stand this world becoming uglier. I would destroy the world in an instant so that beauty will never fade!
Rose, nervously: Uh...yes... Wouldn't we all?
Rose, texting Oleana under the table: OLEANA PLEASE GET ME OUT OF HERE
Oleana, already preparing to fire the sniper rifle, texting back: Don't worry, sir. I got you.
Also:
Lysandre, taking out Volcanion's Pokeball: "I have a plan."
Lusamine, Rose, AND Sycamore: "No murder."
Lysandre, sighing and putting away Volcanion's Pokeball: "Fine. I don't have a plan."

You know the phrase “everyone wants to rule the world”? Imagine a Skyfaller who either did the World Tournament in B2W2 or SI who took Anime!Leon’s title of World Monarch. They might accidentally joke about ruling the world/being on the top being boring. And they forget to explain further so most people think (late-game) they conquered every region. The sweet teen who took to helping everyone somehow was strong enough to rule the entire world???
It does get boring fighting normal trainers with level 100 Pokémon. Hilarious reactions all around.
Hdksjdj i love this
Explaining what a Champion is typically goes without much thought. Explaining you fought a Champion or are a Champion in your time is met with instant understanding.
You forget that it is not that simple in ancient Hisui. Just a simple conversation in passing has people looking at you differently.
“So in the future… what exactly do you do?”
“Oh! I’m the World Champion.”
Cyllene looks up at you from her paperwork, eyes disbelieving.
“Pardon?”
“Yeah! Have been for what… 3 years? Cynthia came close to beating me last year again. She’s ruthless. Another guy, Giovanni I think? Yeah he came close to beating me as well.”
A few Galaxy guards peer in from the hall. Had they heard that right?
“And what is a… World Champion?”
Your face brightens up.
“Oh! The tournament, typically held in Unova, is where trainers and Champions from other regions battle it out for the top! Brutal really, until you start to see the same teams over and over again until someone comes up with a new meta.”
Cylenne put her pencil down, and rubbed her temples, before glaring at the guards outside the door.
They were quick to scamper off, though not before giving you an awed look.
No wonder you were able to tame the noble pokemon, if you were the ruler of the world in the future…

Because I need to work on my WIPs and not add another I'm putting this out into the stratosphere, please as always (and literally any concept you see me throw around even if i wrote a fic about it i want more stories) feel free to steal it, draw it, write it, or use it to distract yourself from the pain radiating from the massive cut in your foot that has decided to just bleed all night (oddly specific bunny is not okay) anywhosers
-royalty au
-red is like the sole prince of a small nation, Pallet, his mom is the queen, despite the nation being small , they are increadibly strong thanks to pokemon trainer prince who beats everyone
-rocket nation with king gio had been attacking and waging a full out war but Red's pushed them back, now rocket nation is trying to form alliances, so Red's mom has to the do same thing
-a neighboring nation, Oakland (ha) had always fought with Red's nation over resources or something, but rocket is attacking them so they form an alliance
-and to form an alliance King Samuel sends his grandson Green to be married off
-cause daisy's the oldest so she'll be queen, and honestly the king thinks green is shit at everything so getting rid of him is a weight off his shoulders
-and green is pissed cause he's a strong trainer and had been doing a lot to protect his nation but his grandfather doesn't care
-red and green immediately hate each other but like they're married so they have to be around each other
-and green like snuck his pokemon with him and keeps sneaking away to train and eventually red catches him training and is like hey wait you like pokemon battling
-all the while rocket is forming alliances and planning a sinister take over of pallet then Oakland
-red and green bond over training
-and like all of the nobels and military leaders treat green like he's just arm candy but now Red's like hey wait you actually know stuff and are almost as strong as me
-green starts coming to planning sessions and the elite 4 generals dont take him serious or whatever then red is like okay go battle him
-green kicks their asses and earns their respect
-they do planning and training and all the while red and green are falling for each other but neither will admit it, cause they think the other just sees this as duty or whatever
-finally the battle comes rocket vs. everyone else
-it's going well until green gets hurt, like maybe he and red are joking around on the battlefield some cause it's easy and they're kinda having fun and flirting a bit, but then someone sneaks and stabs green or whatever
-one of the elite 4 take green away to medics and red goes feral (think achilles) he beats giovanni for good
-all of the allies meet up to divvy up rocket's territories, and green is like hanging on by a thread or whatever and his grandfather is like who cares he only exists to further Oakland's control
-red is pissed threatening to wage ware against oakland
-daisy ends up finding out green is hurt and immediately comes to pallet to see him (cause she actually loves her brother) and that calms red down
-red's mom ends up somehow getting oak to step down as king and daisy becomes queen
-green gets better and red's like hey i know you don't love me and were just forced into this by your grandfather so here is this country called Viridian it's yours youre the king now
-and before green can be like wait im in love with you too, red fucks off to mt. silver (cause of course right)
-green is devastated, red is devastated
-the story is over... or is it???
-it isn't obviously, cause bunny has to have her happy ending cause real life sucks ass so fantasy has to be great in the end
-prince gold from johto makes friends with green, hears the story, and how technically green and red are 100% still married
-so he and his merry band of mischief makers (silver, lyra, kris) go on a journey to bring red down
-they make up some story about green being in trouble
-red obviously rushes down the mountain to save green, but like green's just hanging out in his castle bored as hell playing spoons with alakazam or something
-he see's red and rushes to him and they embrace and kiss
-and green's like i can't stand it i'm in love with you and red's like oh shit me too
-then they merge viridian and pallet and have a second more fun wedding where it's happy instead of an arranged thing
-and they live happily ever after

This is a small reference for the younger version of my self insert for Pokemon, which is the oldest insert of mine
Name: Monika Rogowska
Birthday: 4th March
Astrological Signs: Pisces Sun, Aquarius Moon, Pisces Venus
Height and Weight: 1.65m, 65 kg
Pet name: Diana (only Mewtwo gets to call her that)
Accessoiries: Standard trainer gear (backpack, Pokeballs and a belt that holds them), moon choker gifted to her by Mewtwo
Personality
comes from an abusive household with a narcissistic mother, hence is a bit of a people pleaser at times
is resilient in the face of challenges, even if scared at first
develops a need to be free and find her own place in the world
has only few friends for fear of being found by her abuser again
Is a bubbly person that giggles a lot when around trusted people
likes light green colored Pokemon a lot
dreams of building a life that she can live on her own terms
her Pokemon team act as her friends and as bodyguards of sorts
is not after becoming the greatest Pokemon Master (too much publicity is dangerous and could get her found)
She is a romantic
Rough Storyline
Monika is the daughter of a Team Rocket admin named Beata, living in Cherrygrove town
Beata only ever saw Monika as a pawn for her own plans, not as an own human being and basically held her in captivity, not even allowing her to get a Pokemon in the first place
Monika still manages to get a Pokemon from a breeder that had a left-over Pikachu and names him Kuma
Kuma gets discovered and is taken away from Monika, which causes her to have even more despair
she finds a way to access the files of Team Rocket and finds out about the existence of Mewtwo for the first time by watching a video of his escape from Giovanni at the Rocket headquarters
inspired after seeing the genetic Pokemon made to be a slave escape after all, she finds the will to escape herself, free Kuma and leave the misery behind
her dream becomes to find the Pokemon that had inspired her in the first place, to find Mewtwo himself and thank him
manages to escape at age 11 and travels for roughly a year
eventually she stumbles upon him shortly after the first Pokemon movie, when Mewtwo sets out to find a place to live for himself and his clones
she strikes a deal with him to take care of his clones and teach Mewtwo more about humans
they eventually fall in love
As for the Pokemon team:
- Kuma is Monikas closest companion as he was there for her from the very beginning; he is a little bit overprotective of Monika and didnt trust Mewtwo at first. Basically acting as a bit of a third wheel.
- Claire is a bubbly Clefairy who eventually develops a crush on Ichitaka the Scizor.
- Ichitaka is the Brawn of the group for Monika, basically a more menacing Pokemon for protecting her. He is a very good friend of Mewtwo, greeting him with bro-fist when they see each other again
- Darar is the advisor for Monika, giving her helpful suggestions whenever she is out of ideas. Being psychic, he can speak human language too and communicate and translate Pokemon speech for her if needed
- Marisa and Basilikum are dependable Pokemon that look cute but can be very effective in traversing the environment thanks to their plant abilities

Promoted. [Yandere!Giovanni]
Tumblr media
Synop: You've been a Team Rocket member for a while now, and you've noticed a change in your Boss. Little do you know what he has planned for you.
Character(s): Giovanni (Pokemon) Rating: 16+ Word Count: 1k words Tags: Obsession, kidnapping, stalking, intimidation.
a/n: Hi! Hello! Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all! I am back in action with posting! I think I want to shift to writing mostly Yandere themed fanfics (to play more into the name/theme of the blog) so with this post my ask box is officially open again and I look forward to writing for you all again.
You’ve been a part of Team Rocket for many years now, in fact, it’ll be your 5 years in a few days. You were basically an admin, you were above your fellow henchmen but below the main four admins.
You didn’t mind, it meant less talking for you.
But recently you noticed something…off.
You started to see less and less of your fellow peers. Usually grunts that you would hang out with after shifts started to avoid you like the plague. And you began to see more of the admins.
Ariana would accompany you whenever you had missions, never leaving you alone or allowing you to capture pokemon.
Proton and Petrel were like your personal bodyguards, you couldn’t even breathe without them being near you.
And Archer…he was the worst.
You could be teaching new grunts about the new routes they would be working and the schemes that they will be working.
“Y/n. The Boss said that would be too dangerous for you..”
“Y/n. I need you to be alongside me for this mission. Boss’s orders.”
“Y/n.  Boss recommends this change in your uniform.”
You wanted to scream. It was always what the boss wanted for you!
You rarely got to see the male, he was always cooped up in his office or galavanting off in that damned gym of his. It was beyond irritating.
Giovanni was your boss, the big scary boss of Team Rocket/Rainbow Rocket. And you only saw him a maximum of three times, and the most recent time was two weeks ago.
You were being briefed on a mission, you were being sent off with Jesse, James and Meowth, a trio you loved working with so much due to their spunk and their energy. While you were walking past him, you felt eyes on you. When you looked up you locked eyes with Giovanni.
It felt wrong locking eyes with your boss, especially since so many people feared him.
However when you looked into his eyes...you saw something different.
Not only that, you felt like there were eyes on you at all times, even when you were in your most private of settings. You felt like he had someone watching your every mood so he knew everything.
And that day in his office, the way he looked at you solidified the thoughts you were thinking.
He stared at you with emotions you can't describe, one could only describe it as obsession.
So you quickly ran to go join Jesse and James.
You considered those three to be your only sense of normalcy, as they were the only ones who didn’t run to avoid you.
Ever since that day of the meeting, the rest of the team seemed to officially separate themselves from you. You would walk up to hold a conversation with some you thought were your friends and they would sneer at you and walk away.
Some who even hold fear in their eyes as they saw you approaching and even averted their gazes.
You were walking with Jesse and James through the team rocket headquarters, expressing your feelings about this whole situation.
“I don’t know Jesse..I feel weird about this..no one else gets treated like this..”
“No you’re valid in your feelings darling…The boss is usually a cold fellow.”
Jesse had a hand on your shoulder as she talked to you. You sighed and ran a hand through your hair. It was stressing you out as you continued to think about it.
Why were you the only one being singled out?
Were you going to be fired? Or worse, were you going to be excuted because you knew too much?
James could sense your stress and wrapped an arm around your shoulder to try and calm you down. It was all becoming too much and you were really thinking about quitting.
"G-guys..I think I should quit."
"I- well I would hate to see you go sweetheart, but if you're uncomfortable you should.
“For once, I agree with Jesse. It’s strange that the admins would show this much attention to-”
“Y/n.”
The three of you freeze and you slowly turn to face Archer, he had opened the door that led to the hallways to Giovanni’s office. You felt a chill go down your spine as you turned to look at Jesse and James who both gave you small waves and smiles as they left.
You went to follow Archer as he led you to the office.
You had a bad feeling come over you as Archer approached the door, he gave you a small smile before opening the door for you.
“The Boss is inside waiting for you. He said it was urgent.”
You nodded at him and walked into the room.
"Oh. And I wouldn't think about quitting, Y/n."
You froze in your spot. Turning back to face Archer.
He only gave a dark smirk "You're Special."
Archer left you in the hallway and you were left to walk to the office by yourself.
His office was dark, it was quiet besides the purring of Persian, who greeted you at the door.
“Good Afternoon, Y/n..please take a seat.”
You walked over to the seat in front of his desk, watching as he slowly turned in his chair, his legs crossed as he stared ahead at you.
Giovanni wasn’t an ugly man, he was very attractive actually. But there was something about him that was just terrifying to you. And not just because he was your boss.
there was something…darker lurking behind his eyes.
"Welcome, Y/n." His voice was the same as usual, cocky as hell. But there was an undertone in his voice, one that you couldn't recognize at all.
“I know you’re wondering why I called you here, darling.” he started, not breaking eye contact with you at all. The pet name was new, he usually only called you grunt or you girl.
Not Darling.
“The truth is, I’ve been keeping an eye on you since you first became a part of Team Rocket. A young woman like yourself…joining a dangerous organization like this is rare.”
Giovanni stood up and came around his desk. “I feel like you’re destined to be more…” He smirks and walks over to you, stopping a few feet away.
“W-what do you mean?..” You asked and Giovanni chuckled at your question.
“I want you to be mine. Simply put.”
You shot up straight in your chair, staring at Giovanni with widened eyes. “What!?”
“Don’t be surprised. You’re perfect. You’re a great worker, you don’t allow anyone to control you, you continue to do amazing things. And I need you permanently beside me.”
Giovanni walks over to you and places a hand under your chin. “You belong beside me. We could be a power couple together.”
You backed away from him, making a beeline towards the door, only to be blocked by Persian. The Pokémon knew how its master felt about you, and therefore was going to help its master keep you around.
"Don't you run, Y/n. It's not like you can go anywhere. Everyone in team rocket knows of your special promotion~"
You went to go around Persian by reaching for your own Pokémon, you weren't going down without a fight.
But it seems your boss had other plans.
You heard Giovanni sigh and the sound of a Pokeball opening.
“MewTwo. Use Psychic.”
You barely had time to get out the door before you felt your body be lifted in the air and be turned back around to face Giovanni.
He held a smirk on his face as he commanded MewTwo to bring you closer to him. You get brought back directly to him and he pats your cheek.
“I’ll let everyone know you’ve been promoted. They are to refer to you as Admin Y/n. You are to report directly to me, if someone speaks to you out of term, if someone is rude. You. Tell. Me.”
He says sternly, before placing both hands on your cheeks. You stared at him scared out of your mind seeing the sinister grin on his lips. His eyes held pure obsession, greed, like a child who just got their hands on a toy they had been wanting for years now.
And his next words scared your even more.
“Because I hope you know I will Kill for you.” ---------------------------------------------------- I hope you all enjoyed!! <3 Like I said, My Ask box is open for requests, just read my pinned for the fandoms i write for!

Happy Pokemon Day, everyone! I haven't drawn anything for a while so I decided to draw Silver from Pokemon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver. In my opinion, Silver is the most dark and well-written rival character. He is the son of Giovanni and he originally started as a dark character but he had character development which made him likable in a way. But to me, I love his character. Who is your favorite rival character in pokemon? Let me know in the comments.

honestly i wish masters ex made silver and red interact more because when you think about it they have a rather interesting history (even if they never met face to face but shhhhhhh). red is constantly referred to as this "tough champion" by everyone around him but for silver red is basically the cataclysm of his early childhood and for a good reason too.
after red took out team rocket on his own in the rbg/frlg games and giovanni decided that he could really use a permanent vacation in Who Knows Where, silver was basically left without a home. maybe he had one before everything that transpired, but he's certainly not living there anymore.
and while he never saw red himself, i think the word about a certain boy from pallet town taking down an evil mafia on his own would spread like wildfire in the good ol j-o-toh and silver would have a solid grasp on just who knocked his daddy-o down a peg, and how he could become stronger so that he can take a shot at the so-called 'powerful trainer' on his own. and while it IS true that giovanni's defeat would eventually lead to silver understanding that he needs to treat his pokemon with love and respect, but holy shit. silver didn't need to go through all of That at such an age and red certainly didn't need to do a champion's job at the age of 11 and deal with the consequences later. poor kids.

hi cami! hope youre doing well! id like to ask.. have you seen that pokemon zensho is now fully available in english? i only found out recently lol. you can find it at mangadex! if you have, what are your thoughts on it?
Hi there @soulsilvers I'm doing well thank you for asking! Yeah, I actually didn't know that they full translated Pokemon Zensho until I got this ask, so thank you for alerting me to this I appreciate it! So of course I had to read it all last night! Link here for anyone who wants to read it! It was so cute honestly. First Pokemon Concierge, now Pokemon Zensho making me cry and I'm here for it honestly. Like you said on discord, it definitely is very rushed at only 9 chapters. I definitely would've loved to see it have a few more chapters to explore more about Red and Blue's friendship (well here called Ash and Gary) and going through the league (I always feel like the elite four part of the Kanto story always seems to get the short end of the stick). Despite it's rushed nature, it does make up for it in being the most true-to-gameverse adaptation. But what I appreciated the most was the details that were added were very grounded. Like the problems the gym leaders were facing felt real. It was cool to see how Giovanni became the way he was because it has been hinted at that he's not always been the ruthless Team Rocket boss but something made him that way. I've grown to like Lt. Surge a lot over the years and I feel like his arc was really wholesome too. Many people criticize Kanto for it not being particularly story driven (which to each their own, some people like story drive gameplay some don't, groups are valid), but to say it's completely devoid of story is false. The theme of Gen 1 besides exploration is relationships. It's why the key driver is the rivalry (and strained friendship) between Red and Blue. The orphan Cubone, Agatha and Oak, even Mewtwo's existence plays on the concept of relations in a subtle way. Zensho takes this concept and runs with it throughout as Red travels through Kanto. Much like Pokespe, Pokemon Zensho does a good job at bringing smaller but notable NPCs into the fold and it was done in a way that was not overbearing (looking at Marvin from SwSh Pokespe taking Hop's spot). It was cool to see the SS Anne captain and Game Warden get some more screentime. Also props for this manga low key making non-binary Bill canon! I know some people who read it may not like this version of Red not being "badass" in that he does earn some of his badges without actually defeating the leaders but I think the way it's handled here was okay. I think part of Red's character is supposed to be how he puts caring for others first despite being so talented at battling and I think it's okay that there are adaptations that don't just fall into him being a legendary battler who sweeps everyone. Even though this is a retelling of Red's story I would say if I'm honest this was really Blue's story. Blue got a lot of focus in this manga and outside of Pokemon Generations we don't really get to see into Blue's mindset. I appreciated as you mentioned on discord, how despite everything it did still focus on the fact that Blue was still Red's friend despite everything. It's not something that's focused on a lot in gen 1 adaptations. And of course the rest of the Oak family gets some shine too. This is probably my favorite portrayal of Oak in that it retains some of his flaws but humanizes him too (although I wish they had devoted some time to his and Agatha's rivalry). And Daisy...even with her limited screen time very much still shone especially with her calling out Professor Oak for his harsh words towards Blue. And then of course the revelation of what happened to Blue and Daisy's parents. Give those kids (and this Professor Oak) a hug. This is definitely my favorite of the four Pokemon manga I've read thus far and if we ever got a short miniseries for the Gen 1 games again I would hope it would take more of the Zensho approach and be game accurate while still expanding on little lore details.
