“Why are you so excited again?” Idia grumbles, tightening the drawstrings around his hood so that his face gradually disappears from view.

“Just give me a second!” you call back to your phone, which you tossed on your bed the second Idia picked up.

“Oookay.” he sighs, staring at your ceiling. There’s quite a few holes in it..he should let you take refuge in Ignihyde one of these days.

Psh. As if. He’d die if you stepped foot in his room, and it’s not like you’d want to anyway.

The phone screen shakes a bit as you pick it up, and Idia leans forward. He’s paying more attention than he’d like to admit, especially when he catches sight of a familiar flowery blouse as you prop your phone up on your vanity. He chokes back an excited squeal when you rush farther back, revealing an extremely accurate cosplay of the protagonist of a magical girl anime Idia had been invested in recently.

“Althaea?!” he squeals, “This is like, a UR+ rarity moment! Are you serious, Prefect?”

“Yes!” you squeal back, jumping around and flailing your arms, “I even have her flowering healing staff, give me a second—”

You rush off screen again and Idia gets the sappiest look on his face. It isn’t fair. You listen to everything he has to say and you even get interested in it yourself.

You’re literally the best. What did he do to deserve you?
