For years now, I have been fine and civil with my sibling's fiancé but he's FULLY back on my shit list now. We just had our first meeting for their wedding, which is gonna be in 5 MONTHS (which btw this meeting was on the books since January), and he has literally not thought about anything at all.

He just expects me to "figure it out" for him because he wants to be a "chill, laid back" groom. We're having the reception at my parents' house and I was asking him what kinds of vibes they're looking for for the reception (so that the community can try to find decorations) but a) he kept shooting down my sister's actual ideas, b) I was like "okay did you have any thoughts on themes for the reception or ceremony?" and he was like "oh we don't want anyone to feel pressure to adhere to the theme" like bitch i am not asking about the dress code, im trying to figure out what we need to buy/build beforehand and c) at one point was like "I bet it would work better if you just listed off a bunch of options and we just said yes or no" like fucking???? No????? It's your goddamn wedding you asshole. It's not a multiple choice test I am writing for you

And my sister clearly has a picture for what she wants it all to look like but since he's being such a dick about it she feels like she can't make any decisions until HE decides on things and it is so infuriating on so many levels. Like first of all, again, we have 5 months to throw this whole thing together even though yall have been engaged almost 5 years atp, how have you not even thought about what you want to wear to the ceremony???
