There is nothing cute about invading someones privacy in a roleplay. Just because you have the technology and the knowledge to see your members IP address and locations, doesn’t mean you have a right to share it with others and use it to basically stalk your members. It is incredibly creepy…if someone is under an alias, there is a reason that person is roleplaying under an alias.

It doesn’t mean you can violate their privacy because you’re suspicious of who they are or where they’re from. Sometimes people change their alias for each roleplay and that is 100% okay and its not shady or rude. It is incredibly rude to come after your members for not sharing their real name or the name they usually use as an alias.

It was for people who complain but don't try or join these games and I don't think any of you are pedophiles, I was using the hs games as an example of how this community complains but never does anything about it. #comprender

It’s something we get confessed about every now and then by people who either miss a roleplayer, don’t know where they are, don’t know how to get back in touch with them, or someone who knows they have left the community and just wants to give them a shoutout. This also includes missing roleplays that used to be around but now have died. Some examples are here.

GIRL, I WAS A GLEE FACEBOOK RP. I had the top followed pages with my friends after season 2 (some had more than the official pages) and we planned out shit and people thought it was real and shit was INSANE. that fandom fucking ruined me.

that’s so wild lol, i remember being in some ‘popular’ tumblr rps (you know you made it when you got mentioned on confession blogs) but that’s something else entirely

but fr this fandom was batshit, like @quinnmorgendorffer was saying some fandoms have inc*st ships but glee rps literally created twins sometimes for that specific purpose. and no one cared!

Honestly, this might be mean to say, but some people here just cultivate such a specific brand of obnoxiouness into their online presence, that if like at one point a bunch of blogs came out with posts confessing to being a glee oc rp blog that got out of control, I'd have no trouble believing it.

i don't get how tumblr flagged it? it's literally a wholesome blog!

They flag gif hunts and lookalike images posted before they changed the rules all the time. Most of them I can have appeal reversed within minutes. I’ve even had confessions from Glee rp Confessions which are literally text with a SFW background image flagged.

Also i’m pretty sure half the community is in @what-if-rpg. Their ooc blog is very active and people willing to help others out. I know I shouldn’t promo just because i’m in it - but there is a strong ooc community there.
