side note: jess is one of the most gifted crane game players i’ve ever seen and she regularly walks up to one, puts in a quarter, and comes back with a prize and it’s absolutely insane.

i’m assuming you’re talking about this eyeliner?

idk how to do makeup tutorials but as best i can describe, there’s a couple of things going on here.

i will add the caveat that this works for me bc of my asian almond eye shape and a lot of what i do is specifically for asian monolids

first, i am wearing false lashes. my eyelashes are good length but having the monolid and asian eye fold means that any eyeliner that goes into the fold essentially disappears when my eyes are at rest and then is wayyyy too dark when my eye brows go up. i use a very subtle false lash that looks like i’m wearing mascara instead of mascara because i’ve found that the band of the lash helps fill in the eyelid fold without using eyeliner.

second, nyx epic ink liner. waterproof, drugstore so it’s cheap and can find it anywhere, and comes with a nice thin tip, great for doing a subtle wing.

i very subtly line the inside corner of my eye all the way out to the outside corner of my eye, while being careful not to over line the fold of my eyelid too much. then i extend it ever so slightly into a wing that goes juuust outside the corner of my eye.

the trick to this particular style of eyeliner comes from the outside corner of the wing relative to your eye shape. i have an almond shaped eye that slants slightly upward, so the outside corner of the wing follows that natural shape and the corner of the wing comes out just slight past where my eye would if it continued in that shape. it accentuates the shape of my eye without being over the top. it might take a couple of tries to get the shape just right because if you go too high, it ends up looking like a wing proper instead of your natural eye shape and if you go too low, it looks like you have sad eyes. both are completely fine styles but just isn’t what i’m going for when i’m going for a more natural look. this is mostly how i do my eyeliner when i’m going out but don’t want to go full glam.

to contrast, if i am going full glam, i’ll use a much heavier false lash but i’ll bring the wing out more and use a fun shape. but the trick is that i’m still following the natural shape of my eye with the wing.

here’s a pic of a more complex eyeliner for contrast (throwback to my blonde era). note that the wing still follows the natural shape of my eye and ends where the corner of my brow shape is so create these really satisfying lines.

“Sorry, Mrs. Mendoza.” Guy’s face turned red as Connie and the other Ducks laughed.

Luis leans in to whisper to you, “Relax querida, we’re gonna de great.”

You smiled as the music started playing. You felt your face heat up a bit when Luis held your waist. He smiled as you two danced and he spun you to your next partner.

Your childhood friend, Averman, gave you a smirk before fake sniffling, “My little girl is all grown up.” You laughed quietly as he spun you again.

You danced with the male members of your court until you were with Luis again. As you waltzed you saw your family members tearing up. You looked back at Luis and saw his soft expression.

“You look gorgeous, love.” You once again felt your face heat up. A little voice in the back of your head was worried about dealing with your nosy tias later, but now, Luis took up most of your thoughts.

The music was approaching its end and you both took a deep breath. “Get ready,” He whispered. he gently grabbed your waist and lifted you up.

You clutched his shoulders as you stared into each other’s eyes. He set you down as your court made a semi-circle around you and Luis. You bowed to each other as the music ended.

The guests clapped and your court bowed before going to talk with the guests. Luis gave you a kiss on the cheek and went to talk to his mom.

“You did great sweetie,” Your dad smiled and gave you a hug. “Now go with your friends.” He gave you a kiss on the forehead before you walked towards the Ducks.

“With how aggressive you are on the ice I’m shocked to see you all glammed up, Ln.” Goldberg swung his arm around your shoulders. “Shut up, Goldie. You should all be grateful my cousins agreed to be your damas. I doubt all of you would’ve gotten dates.” You rolled your eyes.

“I am so offended, Ln!!!” Kenny had a false pout on his face. Goldberg backed up while wiping away fake tears, “Guys, it’s still our girl Yn.” Averman also wiped fake tears, “It’s a miracle!”

“Oh look, here comes Mr. Loverboy,” Dean, your dearest cousin, smirked. “If they get all lovey dovey I’m leaving.” Jesse fake gagged as Luis hugged you from behind. “Hey I think it’s sweet.” Dwayne said smiling at you.

“See he’s the only supportive one.” You shook your head. Fulton shrugged, “You guys make it very hard with stupid lovey dovey stuff. We already had to deal with Guy/Connie and Charlie/Banksy then you two decided to get together.”

“Aw come on. We’re not that bad.” Luis complained. “Hey are you saying we’re bad? Have you seen how Banksy and Charlie act?” Connie defended. Guy nodded in agreement. “Oh come one there is no way we compare to you guys.” Charlie scrunched his nose as Banksy held back a laugh.

“Ok, ok. Enough arguing, guys.” Coach Bombay walked over. “I’m glad you could make it, Coach.” You smiled. “I wouldn’t miss it for the world, Ln. Now let’s get a picture of all of us!” Bombay called over the photographer and all the Ducks, including you, got ready.

Luis kissed your cheek as the photographer snapped the picture, leaving the moment as a permanent memory.

Vivzieverse Demon Types

I'm making another AU, and I'm doing some research involving the demons and their subsequent rings with the Vivzieverse!

I'll go into all seven rings, themes, and attributes of their residents, as well as notable features and demons who reside there.

1. Pride Ring

This is the ring we are most frequently shown, due to it being the base of operations in Helluva Boss, and all sinners being confined to the pride ring, leading it to be the main setting, with very few members of the main cast able to venture to other rings.

Main occupants: Sinners, Imps, Succubi.

Noteable occupants: Lucifer Morningstar, Lilith Magne/Morningstar (formerly) Charlie Morningstar, Vaggie, Angel Dust, Alastor, Husker, Niffty, Cherri Bomb, Blitzo Buckzo, Moxxie Knolastname, Millie, Loona, etc.

Ruler: Lucifer Morningstar

Design Tips: Sinners are largely based on animals with a specific attachment to how they lived/died, though not all are. Sinners also retain marks of their death [ex. The 'x' on Alastor's forehead, presumably from where he was shot as a human, mistaken for a dear. Hence his dear-like form.]

2. Wrath Ring

This ring has been shown in the season one episode of Helluva Boss, "Harvest Moon Festival." Due to the sheer amounts of Imps here, with very, very few other species of demons, it is probable that Imps are native to the Wrath Ring.

Main occupants: Imps

Noteable Occupants: Millie (formerly), Millie's family, Striker

Ruler: Currently unknown. [I am aware that it is listed as Samael or Satan in most lists, but I'm going off of strictly Vivzieverse lore + characters]

Design Tips: See bottom for Imp design notes.

Color: Reddish-orange, Orange

3. Gluttony

The gluttony ring is home to most hellhounds as shown in part two of the season one of Helluva Boss, "Queen Bee." Hellhounds are most likely native to the Gluttony Ring.

Main occupants: Hellhounds, Imps

Noteable Occupants: Beezelbub, Vortex, Vikki, Vikki's friends, Esme, etc.

Ruler: Beezelbub

Design Tips: Hellhounds are largely based on, as the name suggests, dogs, wolves, and other hounds. They are among the very few demons to have visible ears, and almost always have fur in some capacity.

Color: Yellow

4. Greed

The Gluttony Ring was first shown in the episode "Loo-Loo Land" during season one of Helluva Boss. It seems to be home to Hell's entertainment industry, barring the demon overlord, Vox, who is confined to the Pride Ring on the grounds of being a sinner. This ring seems to specialize, from what we've seen, in engineering and animatronics, as well as jesters/clown shows.

Main Occupants: Imps (?)

Noteable Occupants: Mammon, Moxxie Knolastname (formerly) Moxxie's mother (deceased) Crimson Knolastname, Crimson's Mafia, Chazwick Thurman (deceased)

Ruler: Mammon (?)

Design Tips: See bottom for Imp designs.

Color: Green

5. Lust

The Lust Ring was first shown in the season one episode of Helluva Boss, "Ozzie's". It houses the adult entertainment industry (though in a more tactful and consensual manner than the Pride Ring overlord, Valentino)

Main Occupants: Imps, Succubi

Noteable Residents: Asmodeous, Fizzarolli, Jesse

Ruler: Asmodeous

Design tips: Imps and Succubi are similar in design -- the horms of succubi tend to lean on the smaller side, and most have wings. Succubi seem to lack the malformed heart often on the upper center of some Imp's foreheads.

6. Envy

Very little is known about the Envy Ring, as it has not been shown yet in either Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel. It can be inferred that it is where the water from Lust runs down to, as most of it's assumed occupants are aquatic. It is possible that the Loan Sharks are from this ring. A social media app on Blitz's phone is supposedly from Envy.

Main Occupants: None known

Noteable Residents: Glitz and Glam (note the water imagery during their song in "Mammon’s Magnificent Musical Mid-Season Special ft. Fizzarolli" and one of the longer color changes is reminiscent of the purple of envy.)

Ruler: Currently Unknown

Design Tips: wavy characteristics would be most fitting, as well as undersea animal attributes such as fins.

Color: A color palette of blues, greens, or purples is typical.

7. Sloth

Sloth was first seen in the season two episode of Helluva Boss, "Western Energy" and seems to run the medical industry. As mentioned by Beelzebub in "Queen Bee," Sloth also has a vast supply of "party drugs," and most likely several intoxicants in general, some for medical use, others for recreational use. Water from the upper Rings flows down in waterfalls.

Main Occupants: Baphoments

Notable Residents: Dr. Somna, Muffy, unnamed nurses

Ruler: Belphegor

Design Tips: The Baphoments have goat-like attributes, down to the hooves and horns. Many, if not all, have a candle and flame sticking from their heads. Some have wings.

Color: Purplish pinks

IMPS:

Imps have traditionally red skin due to their roots in the Wrath ring, though others have a variety. All have large horns, and most have a malformed heart on the upper center of their foreheads. Burns and other spots appear white.

It is also worth noting that the imps reside in all seven rings, I just listed the rings where I noticed a very large number of them in the backgrounds.

Part 1

Why you? Was all that ran through your mind as trees blurred by. ‘I’m a good person, so why me?’ You mentally asked yourself as dried leaves and twigs snapped and crunched under your feet. Your mind wandered back to how this all started. 

Feeling confident in full makeup and glam you walked down an alleyway. For the first time in a few weeks you had managed to drag your depressed butt out of bed and into actual clothes. The lights in the alley buzzed casting a yellowish tint onto the womans self. She smiled to herself feeling like a small victory had been won tonight. Glee bubbled up in her chest as she thought back to the few drinks she had with friends at the club. Nothing could possibly ruin this night, she thought. Not a heartbeat later the woman was snatched from the alley by a large man in a black suit and chrome skull mask. She barely had time to scream as the world went black. 

Sometime later she came to, in what felt like a coffin. You weren’t about to go down without a fight so you began to scream and hit and kick at the wood in front of you. After a few moments you stopped and listened to the surroundings. The coffin was stood up and opened and you came out swinging. You punched a man with short black hair and what could only be described as an annoying face. A sickening crack came from his nose and he doubled over. “You fucken bitch” Preston yelled holding his now broken nose. You took the moment of confusion by your captures and booked it past them.  And now you’re here.

The tall man clad in a black suit topped off with a camera on his shoulder chased her relentlessly. Your only saving grace was that you were slightly faster and slightly more agile. Your lungs burned but you couldn’t stop. If you stop you die. You knew that and so you kept running. He had to admit that he was a little impressed, likening you to a gazelle or deer in his mind. Not many piggies could keep pace, much less out run the large killer. 

A second glimmer of hope appeared in the distance. It came in the form of a rickety old wood and rope bridge. You thought that surely a man of his stature wouldn’t dare to cross a bridge that fragile looking. The chasm it covered was deep. Deep enough that a human could not survive the fall. The advantage was in your court. You were nowhere as heavy as the chrome masked man that had been chasing you for the last couple hours, or at least what felt like hours. 

Your feet flew over the wooden boards only slightly slowing down. The smile that had painted itself on your face fell as the sound of the killers thudding foot steps on wooden boards reached your ears. Your feet landed on solid ground and you were going to milk that since he was still slowed down from the bridge. You could easily get a huge lead on the man. 

Moments later she stopped in her tracks. The sound of a wooden board snapping and a startled grunt made you curse under your breath. ‘Had he fallen all the way down.’  You thought ‘Wait, no’ You realize there was no splat. No thud of a body against cold hard ground. After what felt like an eternity she looked behind her. There she saw one of the mans hands holding on to the crumbling dirt ledge for dear life. ‘He must be able to pull himself up, who isn’t he using his other hand?’ You thought as you stared at the hand. ‘What should I do?’

Hey girl,

So I've been thinking about Elvis and Elaine having kids across different eras of pop culture and It's hilarious thinking about how they would fit in pop culture. Like Jesse being in an 80s glam metal band, while Ella is more Soft rock by contrast. Daisy mae and Rosalee being the resident Punks of Memphis. Marie going through the grunge era being more or less born from her Daddy's rebellion. And so much more outside of Music like Joe being a 90s action star or Joe and Josephine becoming Oscar darlings, being born in the Hollywood era. Shiloh being an early 2000s it girl in the making and above all the other kids would be the most likely to be the Reality TV star. Maybe not full on bullying her family to being an early Kardashian prototype but more along the lines of maybe Paris Hilton's the simple life.
