most recent chapter of my fic now has it so both of Gadget's parents were briefly described, so I thought I would post this quick sketch I did a bit ago of his family (pictured a bit over half a decade ago.) More info below the cut.

From left to right:

Gina the Wolf, currently 55, pictured at 49. She was raised in an environment that emphasized academics, and she is a tenured professor at New Mobotropolis University. Has a PhD in mechanical engineering and mostly teaches at the doctoral level. Notorious for being a bit too lax when it comes to dangerous or controversial research projects.

Gizmo the Wolf, currently 16, pictured at 10. Artistically inclined, outgoing and never hesitates to bother his brother. Still finishing high school and plans to study art at a local university.

Gadget the Wolf, currently 20, pictured at 14. Hero of the war. Originally a quiet kid who had just moved far away from home to go to college to study computer science when the war suddenly hit. Most people know the rest of the story.

Gears the (Maned) Wolf, currently 52, pictured at 46. Car mechanic by trade, grew up in a rough neighborhood. Now owns her own repair place. Is half Maned Wolf (making both her kids a quarter). Her and Gina met when Gina brought her car with a flat tire to the shop Gears worked at during that point in her life. Gina's parents didn't approve of them being together due to several reasons. They have been married for 22 years.

Gizmo seems like a sweet and kind soul, and will probably help whenever he can. He’s probably very affectionate when he wants to be.

Blademar seems more quiet and reserved, but still kind. He has that intimidating aura, but is probably a big softie.

Wait, is anyone actually taking Laszlo at his word that he could convince Nandor to finally bite Guillermo?

Like, do we think Laszlo really is that persuasive/cunning/has that much influence over Nandor?

Some design musings for new sonic OCs...who are also PreCure OCs, because I was really tempted by the concept of crossover OCs. They're from a universe (dimension? Plane?) where the Sonic cast doesn't exist and so they turn into Pretty Cures with the main four's powers instead. I haven't designed their cure forms yet and I'd like to draw them proper + not in chibi form at some point lol. Just haven't had the focus lately.

Their looks (not counting their outfits) were brainstormed in the crowesn sonic picrew, but I do plan on making them look a little different with somewhat varying body types once I draw them proper.
