Being Alone, Andrew Bogut, and Cats: Loved 4 children! An affectionate, friendly, er sweet gird. 1D 40041 O6 Yrs., 74 lbs. perfect proven mily pet, waiting for you in Manhattanl Pnncess Lollipop TO BE KILLED – 9/6/2018 *** PERFECT PROVEN FAMILY PET LOVED 4 CHILDREN - SHE HAS A STELLAR SAFER TOO! *** Big, buxom, and as sweet as her name implies, Princess Lollipop was a happy pampered pet of 6 years until the day the landlord laid down the law --- NO PETS. Now this amazing girl who brings a smile to the faces of everyone she meets, is dreaming of a new family to love her so she won’t have to die. Her SAFER was STELLAR – all coveted 1’s across the board, her resume is sterling, and she lived with and loved not one child, but FOUR – all ranging in ages from 7 months to 17 years of age!). She was gentle, playful and respectful of everyone. This dog is a gem, but don’t take our word for it, listen to what a smitten volunteer has to say: “It's hard work being a princess, and no one knows this better than Princess Lollipop. Seeming to rule over a realm of velvet land seals, she has joined the commoners in East Harlem while she awaits the return to her rightful throne. Her land seems to be one of endless play, as well as one full of snacks and sass. Princess Lollipop lived peacefully with children from infants to teenagers, but seeks a domain where she's the only (animal) queen of the castle. Come help her continue her reign of joy and cuteness today at the Manhattan ACC.” Princess Lollipop is Experience rated, meaning she can go to any family with some prior dog experience. She is not recommended as needing to be an “only dog” in the household but she will need slow introductions to resident respectful dogs like herself, done at a slow pace and over time. Princess Lollipop WAS wonderful in doggy playgroup “off leash” with other respectful pups like herself– even offering bouncy play bows. If you can foster or adopt this amazing beauty, hurry and PRIVATE MESSAGE our page or email us at [email protected] for assistance. PRINCESS LOLLIPOP, ID # 40041 @ 6 Yrs. Old, 74.2 lbs. Potential challenges comments:: On-leash reactivity/barrier frustration: Princess Lollipop is reported to react to other dogs on leash, lunging towards them, barking and growling. This behavior has also been observed at the care center. Princess Lollipop may need positive reinforcement, reward based training to teach her to look at you rather than other dogs. We recommend a front clip harness or head halter to help manage this behavior. Fearful/potential for defensive aggression: Princess Lollipop is reported to lunge, growl, and snap at people why approach her or her home. At the care center, she has been social with handlers, but this behavior may occur in a new home environment. Guidance from a professional trainer/behaviorist is recommended to assess behavior after decompression in a new home environment.
