Day 6 of our travels! This morning we woke up tired and headed down to eat breakfast. As we were getting our food we noticed a young reading his Bible abs journaling his insights!! We were so encouraged and told him that!! What a beautiful way to start our day! We went on to see the Palaces of Versailles.. great opulence! We noticed a painting of Jesus’ feet being anointed by a woman who loved him and broke an expensive jar of perfume to use to wipe his feet. A story of grace forgiveness and changed lives. Through the painful political history of our past kings and leaders, this painting says it all! There is forgiveness and grace for us all. We saw the hall of mirrors, the beautiful gardens and fountains. Then back in Paris we went to the rooftop restaurant at Au Printemps with breathtaking views of the city! Then we went to see Notre Dame with all its ongoing renovation!! People thronged all around it despite being unable to go inside!! That didn’t seem to matter!
