(Rarity x Fancy Pants)

If you didn't see the post, I redrew the cover art for a fanfic I made for my next gen au about Rarity and Fancy Pants getting a divorce. The basic gist of it is they would always fight over everything constantly, and one night at the dinner table, their children had had enough and confronted them about their bickering. Fancy Pants is a stuck up snob who cares more about his reputation than his children, so Rarity kicks him out.

He then finds himself waking up to his old rundown apartment (that he doesn't quite know why he still owns) and a familiar face in the bed next to him – and it isn't his wife. He had gotten drunk and ended up at Fleur De Lis' place, a sobbing wet mess wanting to be tucked into bed like a foal. She obliged and stayed the night due to it being so late but the couch was so uncomfortable she decided to share the bed. When they woke up, she acted so normal about the situation which caused Fancy to spiral and believe he cheated on his soon-to-be ex wife.

He clears his head on a walk and spots Rarity in town with her friends being dramatic as usual. He goes back home and talks to Fleur, realizes they didn't do anything wrong, and finds divorce papers waiting for him. They meet with a lawyer and settle on equally split custody of the kids, getting them every other week. Fancy tries to fight it for full custody, but seeing as how he hasn't been the best father (and him not wanting his already tarnished reputation to get any worse) he quickly shuts it down and settles on the terms. Then Rarity goes for a romantic evening with Hoity Toity, stopping at the castle to get some advice from Twilight. And that's where I left it lol

That was a long summary lmao but yeah I reread the story and it's pretty good considering I wrote it a few years ago, I might take a crack at writing again, people seemed to like it and I kinda miss it

the greatest showman- a sengen oneshot

And now, we welcome the one and only magnificent mentalist Gen Asagiri to the stage! Gen was pretty young but he was already becoming famous. His psychic demonstrations were wildly popular, and hundreds of people bought tickets to his shows each night to see him perform.

“You, with the cool hair.” Gen said into the microphone, pointing to a guy in the front row with long white and green hair and ruby eyes. “I want you to take this paper and pen,” he handed the paper and pen to the man, “and I want you to write down the name of a city, a superhero, and a color.”

The participant quickly complied and wrote on the paper.

“Now fold it up tight and don’t let me see. The city you chose…was New York. Because you chose New York, the superhero you wrote was Spiderman. Because you wrote Spiderman, the first color that came to mind was red.”

The white and green haired man’s eyes lit up with amusement as he knew the mentalist got all the right answers.

“Now hold the paper up to the audience to show them I’m right!” Gen said with confidence. The audience cheered as they witnessed the mind reading trick.

The show continued for another thirty minutes with Gen wowing the crowd.

“That’s all for today folks! Ank-thay ou-yay!” The mentalist exited the stage, and was met with a big hug.

“You did great out there Gen!” Senku said as he gave Gen flowers to celebrate his performance.

“All thanks to you helping me out!”

“Believe me, I was just as surprised as everyone else when you guessed everything right.”

“Oh, come on!” Gen said with a playful eyeroll “That specific one had to have been the lamest trick of the whole show… though I will say some of my other tricks were quite impressive.” Senku laughed, “These flowers are beautiful though, thanks Senku.”

The two left through the backdoor to avoid paparazzi and got into Senku’s car. They drove home listening to Coldplay, which was Senku’s favorite band because of their song “The Scientist”.

Eventually, the two reached their apartment. Senku unlocked the door and Gen was amazed at what he saw. The lights were low and there were candles, a trail of rose petals, and a bucket with champagne on ice in it.

“Senku…you did all this for me?” Gen was so grateful to have Senku in his life.

“Of course, my love. You deserve it.” Senku pulled Gen close to him and the two locked eyes.

“I love you Senku.” Senku pulled Gen’s chin towards him and kissed him passionately. Gen put his arms over Senku’s shoulders and Senku put his arms around Gen’s waist.

“I love you too Gen, ten billion percent.”
