The best part about being in a stew leonards (as someone who goes like once a year) is seeing the ppl who just, show there like it is a normal grocery store. They are just used to the slightly broken animatronics.

yeah, exactly! like...they had to know we’d be expecting more on that subject and then it just...didn’t happen.

i’m kinda extra annoyed because this is like the one situation where exploring starscream’s feelings about being constructed cold would be a let down.

Okay and on the topic of YYH, the black chapter saga is so good!!! Kuwabara helping seaman, ppl being ultimately good, but it also does show off Togashi losing focus, like in a fun way, but still. And the dub of it is SO good!!! "Picking on the weak is never good!!"

I STILL NEED TO WATCH THE ANIME FOR BLACK CHAPTER SAGA ive only read the manga of it so far...im excited tho. and ngl like i think its classic togashi “i want to change genres!!!!!!!” every goddamn arc but that’s when it first really starts being darker. and also gay

I'm partial to the habit one tbh, especially when you have bots like Getaway vent when frustrated, or bots sighing and organic races are the majority!

It’s the most likely reason tbh! Tho that also makes me wonder why some bots known for their dislike for organics wouldnt have tried to get rid of the habit-

(On a different note: I think Getaway may have a mouth under the face plate cause he did have what looked like....upper teeth? in that panel where he’s shown retained in the cell. Plus they took his lower jaw and I doubt bots without a mouth have jaws?)

Since you like Naruto I would REALLY recommend Hunter X Hunter tbh. I am only up to like episode 50 out of 150 and I love it! It came before Naruto and you can see where Kishimoto just like... took ideas from HxH yfukjghl. The early eps are paced quickly so you'll be able to tell early on if it is a good fit for you! I would also rec Yu Yu Haskusho which has a GREAT dub and is such a fun anime. Plus Baccano is you are looking for something short and complete. All 3 are pretty character based!

@gaycyclonus uhhhh here’s a few I can think of off the top of my head -we had a movie theater on the base where you could watch movies for free but you had to stand for the national anthem before each movie started -(not actually dystopian but they played the “you wouldn’t steal a car” advert before every movie too instead of commercials for actual movies) -All of the houses on the base were identical to the point where I kept getting lost because there were no real landmarks distinguishing between them. I’m pretty sure I almost walked into someone else’s house at least once -you also couldn’t customize your house in any way, shape, or form. They barely let you hang pictures -sometimes the kids at my school would just disappear halfway through the school year and no one so much as bat an eyelash -there was this one woman whose husband took her drivers license with him went he went out to sea so she just spent the six months (at least) living on the base without ever leaving once. At no point did she think this was strange
