U: Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.

First of all, hi!! I’m so glad you’re back!!! I hope your tumblr break was helpful and you’re feeling better!💜

Oh god, starting off with the hard questions. It’s always hard for me to pick my favorites of anything because I like things in cycles so it’s hard to classify anything as my favorite which is very boring of me.

1) literally all of my friends write fic and they’re all incredible, wonderful people and fic writers and I love the heck out of them. I’m leaving y’all untagged because it’s a lot and I will undoubtably forgot someone because I have the memory of a gerbil and then I will feel terrible. But then I’m like well then I’m saying the people I’m tagging I’m not friends with and that seems mean but also that’s how friends work you can’t be friends with everyone and I’m thinking about this so much someone stop me. So I’m tagging fic writers whomst I love and adore but don’t frequently interact with, there. I do occasionally use words that make sense. God, I need a drink. Ily’all you’re incredible and I am a chronically anxious bitch. It’s a personality trait at this point. I’m cutting myself off.

2) @pearlcaddy writes the most gorgeous, beautiful and emotionally charged jukebox fic I swear to god. I’m perpetually incapable of picking which of her series are my favorites. (It’s the liking things I’m cycles rising up to smack me down.) all you need to know is that it’s all good and I love them to pieces.

3) oh oh! The bb gc was talking about timeless the other day and I feel the need to reread @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels phenomenal garcyatt fics again. I’ve read most everything they’ve written and it’s all so so good. I’m not as involved in the timeless fandom as I was so I haven’t read any fic in a while but their fic is incredible and I would absolutely recommend.

4) since one was more a panic laced ramble I’m including one more, because they deserve it. @rayshippouuchiha writes amazing fic. I’ve only read their marvel fic so far but they have a gorgeous fem!tony stark series that’s just top tier

"I'm sorry, Lucy." Wyatt steps into the kitchen with shame and despair in his eyes. "I can't live like this anymore. I love you, and I tried, but it's never been you."

"What?" She slams down the spoon she'd been using to stir her coffee.  "How can you say that? After all these years together? Who is she?"

He shifts, uncomfortably silent.

Lucy grits her teeth. Her voice becomes threatening. "Who is she? Is this still about Jessica?"

Sighing, he closes his eyes. "It's not a she."

"What? Who?" Realization dawns at the memories of her husband pouring over mission logs, personnel files, and the other man's family photos. Lucy had always assumed Wyatt was looking for a way to save his dead wife. "Flynn?"

Wyatt swallows and nods.

A wave of anger overtakes Lucy before it ebbs and washes away to relief that all of the years of pretending are over. "Me too."

Shock and hurt fill Wyatt's face but give way to a smile. "Then let's get him back."

10. Garcyatt and Wyatt Logan FOR SURE. Also for 4. Imo your Buddie writing is exceptional and I refuse to pick a favorite fic of yours for them, but if I take them out of the running then I have to say Confidence Trick still lives in my head rent free.

ALKSDFJASLKJ AWWW I'M SO FLATTERED!!! I really had a lot of fun taking a character that in my opinion was wasted potential and exploring how a sexuality crisis could be the catalyst for him growing and maturing as a person.

SHHHHH NO YOU'RE TOO KIND your writing is so goddamn good I am addicted to all your Buddie fics and reread them so yeah to be fair I also can't truly pick a favorite of yours for those even though I tend to force myself to for these ask games. TBH Confidence Trick is... I think personally one of the best things I've ever written? It's my best Timeless fic hands-down I'd say. I am never going to stop being delighted that you love that fic so much, seriously. ❤️
