Coming off my little hiatus to make a post for my darling @galaxythixf! 💜 For those that may not know Nova yet, he's a very caring & wonderful writer. I've known Nova for a few years now & have the delight to call him my partner for 2 of those years. He puts SO MUCH HEART into his portrayals & plotting. You could give him a crumb & he'd bake you a whole tray of muffins with how his creativity knows no bounds. The way he captures ideas and can draw you into world-building is unlike most i've encountered. He just has a very brilliant mind. And I just want to remind him that many of us just absolutely adore having him here! This post isn't a means to raise any concern, Nova's okay! He's just been having trouble getting his writing spirit back. So I thought maybe making a little post can help spark something for him. I just always want him to know how important he is & that he's cared for deeply. For those who don't know Nova please consider checking out his blog! And if you already know him please consider helping me remind him how cool & awesome he is? I'd greatly appreciate it. 💜

Most of, if not the majority of Ryoji's coy antics originated from an innocent heart. His social skills needed fine tuning, but as someone whom hardly ever stayed in one place for an extended period of time, Kotone understood the difficulty understanding when an individual's boundaries were broken. Closed body language, skirt responses, she easily identified all the tell-tale signs of rejection. Ryoji, on the other hand, did not.

Which led him into numerous predicaments involving several Gekkoukan students complaining to their student council representatives. Which..in turn, involved Kotone taking the defense for the transfer student's conduct. He owed her big time after this.

"However, I can assure you Ryoji's behavior shouldn't be chalked up to, or written down as harassment. He's only trying to make friends with the other students. You know how bad it was like for me when I transferred here back in the spring, right?" Although Hidetoshi may not be as compassionate towards a newer transfer student, Kotone hoped it'd be a worth a shot considering how her fellow student council member drastically changed throughout the year.

"I can talk to him in private about this, if that's better for you. I think he'll listen more if he hears it from me instead of the council."

"Something on your mind?" They have their chin atop their knuckles as they glance at Neon. "You seem... agitated. Or excited. Or both. You're making Nightmare nervous." It's delivered in such a deadpan manner that anyone unaccustomed to Fade's way of speaking wouldn't know how to react. The shadow by the feet of the chair they're sitting on dances for the briefest of moments; whether in acknowledgement of the comment or something else, there's no other indication of it. Then there comes the urge to run her tongue against the tips of her canines again—she resists.

"If it's about last mission, you know Brimstone decides who goes where. I'm sure you would've loved to have been the one to send your Mirror running. Away."

She thought about him that much? Talk about a big surprise - and it wasn't a lie, either. Now his face was as red as his old headphones as he nervously scratched the side of his cheeks. "Wow, damn... me neither, but I didn't think I was that attractive either... huh." He'd say this was good luck instead of a coincidence since she didn't seem interested in anyone else but him. Heck, they even shared their first kiss! He should be happy, and he was happy this way.

This was how it should be. They're both happy, giddy with those butterflies and he wouldn't ask for anything else. The more he listened, the more he shared those exact sentiments. "Yeah, same here! It's... really something that makes me happy to be here with you." The way his heart beat around her should've been an early sign of how much he truly cared about her, and now... it's any hopeless romantic's dream to get together with the girl he loves.

Of course, he denied it at first, but not anymore.

His offered hand was taken with such enthusiasm, it shocked him. Her face was cute to look at like that... all eager to get some grub with him. Her question caught him a little off guard, though. "Share? Oh yeah, sure! Why not?" He laughed lightly, and cringed a little when his hand was accidentally squeezed. "Ow-- I'm okay." He quickly reassured her and pulled her up to her feet.

"Our beef bowl awaits!" He darted off downstairs with her, holding her hand tightly while trying to ignore the weird looks they got.

Chifuyu knew today was going to end up in a fight. What he didn’t expect with the other gang was that they’d beat him down so severely that he lost consciousness. When he came to, he could tell he was moving but it wasn’t him moving. Slowly green eyes opened to the outside, the cool gentle breeze brushing against his blond locks. He grimaced as he shifted just slightly in the pair of arms that were carrying him. His body screamed at him to not move, he felt sore and surely he was covered in bruises and cuts. 

He tilted his head up against the chest he was leaning against. Eyes blinked a few times as he recognized Hakkai. What was he doing? What happened in the fight? Did they win? Where were they going? So many questions swarmed his head all at once. Chifuyu lifted his hand and put it against his throbbing head. 

“ Ugh... Where are you taking me, Hakkai? I can walk, you know... ” Though his body probably would have disagreed with his own statement.

. Sasha's brows lifted to a point, lips drawn in a thin line as he watched her try to remember her lab. He wouldn't lie, it'd been difficult watching her try to navigate a thousand different emotions. They tried smaller things at first, but nothing had jogged her memory. Healing hadn't seemed to aid, they had tried meditation (there was a glimmer of Klara in the way she seemed so disinterested in sitting still).

He had thought that her lab would evoke memories, but he wondered if it hadn't upset her further. Did she recognize her handiwork, or was it all just a blank?

"I'm sure it is difficult." He wasn't sure how to navigate the painful drive he felt to try to make it better in any way. But all he could offer was space or companionship whenever she needed either. "If you would like to take a break, we could return to Sage. Or perhaps a walk outside?"

4 - Seeing his happy little face as you give him food

Boar eyes stared down at Zenitsu's hand, wide with disbelief. Inosuke's confusion was almost palpable. It took a moment for the meaning behind the gesture to settle within his little boar mind.

Inosuke had devoured his own share of the meal within a few bites. The blue nurse and her little caterpillars had packed enough rations to last a few days, but Inosuke had already made a large dent in his allowed meals, the supplies dwindling fast. His stomach growled on, and Zenitsu must have caught the longing gaze he gave to the half-full bento box...

"Aren't you gonna be hungry if you don't eat that? You need food to be strong, y'know. And you need lots of strength to kill demons."

When Zenitsu didn't draw his hand back, Inosuke finally took the riceball from his comrade's grasp, his other hand pushing the boar mask above his features. Delight shone bright in his emerald irises.

"I'll put that food to good use! You can hide behind my back while I kill the demons, Mon'itsu!"

Slender fingers tap against the table rhythmically as he stares downward to the map he unrolled of the continent moments ago. One edge of the paper refuses to lay down. Much to Illumi's annoyance, he has to lean forward to where his elbow can rest against the surface to keep it flat. Hollow eyes now scan the area that his needle-man raked through for him in order to locate a CERTAIN heir. Not in the forest. . .No such luck in the city or the mountains. Just how far could his brother go on foot with his youngest sibling as extra baggage? That's when it hits him: they're not traveling THAT way! Illumi has been looking at this all wrong! The assassins' eyebrows raise, turning his head in the direction of his accomplice to share his newest thought about air travel.

Lips immediately press against once another when the magician doesn't bother to meet his eyes. His own gaze travels downward, it not taking more than a couple of seconds to realize exactly WHAT is preoccupying Hisoka's mind currently. He couldn't make it any more OBVIOUS.

Illumi isn't able to suppress the silent sigh that leaves him at long last. He really ought to scold the Hunter for allowing his mind to go down the GUTTER during such a critical moment, but what good would that do? He's lucky enough that Hisoka is currently at his beck and call with the entire election fiasco going on in the background. The last thing he needs is for Hisoka to grow BORED. If lecherous stares are the price for reliable help, so be it.

He straightens up his posture, placing hands onto his hips for just a moment to consider his next words.

He let out a soft, amused chuckle. That was all she had to ask to get him to talk more. "If you want to know more about my weaknesses, you could say that cats and kids are my top two. Somehow, I can't refuse to pet any stray cat I see or work at the daycare center whenever I can. Doing these things makes me happy, aside from talking to you guys and exploring the town. I also help out with some quests people might have for me. That's why I'm so busy."

Now he wanted to return the query. "Now I wonder if there's anything that phases you." She was free to spill it if she so wished. He wanted to know more about her.
