I love when people ask me do you have Band tees, Rap tees, Movie tees, All Over print tees, Wrestling tees ? Then they ask me why not? I love responding because that’s what everyone else wants. I always liked dressing different from everyone else. I always went after the hat, jersey and sneakers no one had. Ever since I was little I could always find great deals on clothing and accessories because of my Pops and my Grams. Loved the guy that paid up for something and I would get multiple items for the same price😂😂I would crush the clearance racks at I Goldberg, Toofers, Herman’s, Shenk Brothers, Athletes Foot, Dennery’s, Elkay, Oaktree to name a few. I hand pick all of our inventory at the GBG. I try to buy only what I would wear. I trust my eye when it comes to style. It’s been good to me for the last 43 years, why stop now. The Trend

So we all know what a trend is. But does that mean all trends are constructive? What's the point of them? Because one factor of how successful a trend is, is called social proof. It's when someone reinforces an idea or supports something because other people do. "Monkey see, monkey do."

What about the trend to sexualize yourself for social media likes?

What about the "Body Positivity" trend to post half naked pictures of yourself even if you're completely comfortable in your skin.

Trends aren't actually helpful to anyone, have you noticed? They don't produce anything, nor do they make ANYONES life easier. They're social competitions. They're a way for the social media collective to determine who is "up-to-date" which apparently equates to engagements, followings, likes, and everything else you need a lot of in order to sleep at night.
