idk if i said that i probably have. but the one thing gen 7 did so so right is the starters literally all of them are just top notch best set of starters ever

As for his lore, I went with the more "traditional" version of werewolves. Yeah turns out a lot of modern werewolf trivia and stuff is just for movies so I wanted to be a bit more true to real folklore with him. But also it's my AU so I get to add and remove whatever I want LMAO.
I'm not a writer at all (heck I can barely read) so forgive me for rambling lol.
Basic story is that, SMG4's hat got stolen and on his chase to get it back, he found a newer, cooler hat which he (stupidly) decided to wear. To no one's surprise it was cursed and now every night he turns into The Beast™ and wreaks havoc on everything around him.
I like showing him as just a big doggy but he's actually really dangerous, 4 isn't aware or in control at all as a werewolf so he has no memory of all the destruction he's causing. At first no one around knows its him but they pick up on it before he does (4's kinda in denial because he doesn't believe in werewolves), they all try their hardest to help him out to get rid of this curse while he's busy fucking shit up every night.
I like leaving his lore open ended (mainly so I can play around with it as much as I like hehe, and also I haven't decided) but in order for him to be freed from his curse, he has to either;
Find whoever cursed the hat and get them to remove it.
Kill whoever cursed the hat in the first place.
Die.
The angst potentials are out of this world maaan. I haven't made this AU to be ship oriented but you knowwwwww, I can make it gay for the hell of it tee hee! SMG3 is the first person he tries to attack/kill so I'm sure that does well for him lol. Also he keeps the hat on all the time and can't take it off, it repairs itself when he turns back into a human because oooooo the curse.
Thank you for asking though I promise I have more stuff planned for him soon! I've got a few fake screenshot type pieces I wanna do for him when I get the chance so stay tuned! :D

opinion on ffxv after 75 hours of playing (and one hour of running in circles to level gladio's skill up) (still haven't played any of the dlcs but i'm gonna take a break or something for a few days because i severely neglected my university stuff and spent most of the last week obsessively playing this game)
i love this game. am i tired? hell yeah. would i want all these hours back? hell no.
the game is a mystery to me.
the sidequests are genshin impact open world quests level (which means that if i hear anyone talking, i'm pressing the skip button because i don't give a fuck). you listen to someone yapping about unimportant stuff and they make you collect the same shit over and over again. peak game design.
the main quests are good but the ending made me age 10 years in a week. there's NO NEED for these tragedies. boy you literally have the power of gods on your side and they tell you the only way to get rid of the big bad villain is to kill yourself? sounds like bullshit to me. also why even bother if there's only a few thousands people left in the world. you already lost, all this stuff had to be done 10 years ago to have any meaning. and there's no way the world didn't just implode or something when the sun stopped rising. the true ending is noctis getting spat out of the crystal and realising everyone is long gone because there's no sunlight.
the mentally ill hobo could have been more cooperative too geez. i'll be honest i like him much more than the six. and everyone's like "oh gods are helping you" no they hate me and want me to die for no reason. i'd rather join forces with ardyn and try to take them down. even if he did a lot of questionable stuff (cough- killed my bride -cough-cough- and her brother -cough- also kidnapped my friend and tortured him-)
the hunts are kinda fun when it's a big monster but when it's a bunch of goblins i'm like,,, why did you call me here? ngl i thought all hunts would be like the first one, it was truly cool. there was some kind of plot, some interactions with my friends, some stealth, the monster seemed really tough (meanwhile me, fighting the lvl 99 adamantoise 65 hours later: the ring of lucii go brrr-)
the dungeons are ass. i thought nothing could be as disorienting as daggerfall's randomly generated dungeons but they really managed to do a miracle with ffxv. although the dungeons in ffxv are not scary at all, that's the difference.
the open world is okay. there're some interesting places (when you first see the big mysterious creature in the lake you're like do i have to fight it?? can i get closer to it?? what is this??) and the nature is beautiful. altissia looks majestic but sadly there's not much to do. i appreciate the hard work tho.
using regalia was a delight. when you want to take a break and just look at the landscape you can just sit still with a controller in your hands and enjoy the ride. really therapeutic. don't drive at night when you're low level though... listen to ignis. ignis is always right.
the camp life is by far the best out of all games i've had an experience with. there's so many little details everywhere that you cannot help but adore your companions. it's the way every time you make camp you get a bunch of photos prompto took since the last break. it's the way your companions talk to you almost all the time and you truly feel like you are on a road trip with your friends. it's the way gladio calls you out on your bullshit and afterwards you want to bite his head off each time you talk to him. it's the way ignis cooks for the entire party and makes you help him sometimes. i just love the way friendship is portrayed here.
what was not as good is luna and noct's relationship. there was not enough of luna. yes she loves noct but why? yes noct loves luna but why? luna literally appeared in the plot for two minutes and then tragically died. i think it's really bad. also imagine not seeing your bride for 12 years, when you finally meet her again she immediately dies, then you spend 10 years trapped in a crystal, fucking die and then get to marry your bride. honey it's been 22 years since i last talked to you in person. i'm NOT marrying a random woman in the afterlife (no hate for luna, just this love story didn't seem convincing enough). hopefully i'm gonna see what they wrote in the dawn of the future soon (please pray so that my amazon package doesn't get lost 🙏)
the music is incredible. the woman who wrote the soundtrack is my goddess and i am a devout worshipper 🙏🙏🙏
so, why is the game a mystery to me? because no other game could make me endure 75 hours of boring side quests. i managed to play hogwarts legacy for 44 hours and i despised that game when i finished it. i despised it long before i finished it. but not ffxv. they could make me do all this boring stuff again and i would do it (not for free tho because i've got better things to do with my time 🤣)
i enjoyed ffxv a lot. it also made me depressed for a week because ending a game like that should be a crime. i think i'm gonna do a few last quests after that but there's not much left (and i'm not looking for more because if i think i am done then i am done). not sure how long episodes gladiolus, prompto and ignis are gonna take, but they're also in my plans (no ardyn tho, gotta go watch some playthrough). there's also anime and a film so plenty of content for me. and i am waiting for the arrival of my book 🫡
(noticed that there's nothing about the combat. well it's because i don't care. i don't like combat. i don't like it in any game. i prefer to flee)

Thoughts on Helluva Boss Episode 203 (”Exes and Oohs”)
Pros:
- Crimson’s facial animation is great, especially when Moxxie and Millie first walk through his door, and when he finds out Chaz isn’t rich. His expressions convey a lot of menace through the timing and eye movements alone. It’s subtle, but I hope whoever animated those scenes knows their efforts haven’t gone unnoticed.
- I like the concept of Crimson’s trophy wall, which shows he actually keeps mementos of those he’s killed, seeing them as no better than animals for him to hunt. Now if there are actually cops in this version of Hell (which the existence of jail implies), this would look very suspicious if they ever stopped by, like a serial killer displaying the hands, eyeballs, etc of his victims. But I guess he could always press a button and flip them all to the dildo side if he didn’t mind the weird looks he’d inevitably get.
- I actually liked Moxxie’s introduction to Blitzo in the flashback. It showcases his fast-talking, big-thinking personality well. Shame he’d go on to treat Moxxie like shit after this.
- I wasn’t expecting the dildo scene to get a laugh out of me, but goddammit it did. It’s such an absurd overcompensation from an old straight dude who thinks he knows what the gays like that it caught me off guard. It’d be kinda tasteless if Moxxie were the butt of the joke, but clearly he’s the straight man (no pun intended) here. The real source of humor is Crimson’s misguided, ridiculously silly attempt to accommodate his son, which just shows how little he really knows (or cares to learn) about him.
- Fuck YES, Moxxie standing up to his dad. Great, satisfying scene. Now do it to Blitzo, Mox. It’s been a looong time comin’.
- Millie’s climactic fight scene is pretty good. The choreography is fluid, the kills are creative and fun to watch, and the music fits perfectly. There’s just one aspect holding the sequence back from being great, which we’ll get into later.
- Good ending. Shows what became of Chaz and hints that Crimson might try to get revenge on Moxxie in the future. More Crimson is a win in my book.
Cons after the cut.
Cons:
- Dammit, the “Moxxie is fat” jokes were never funny, show. Let ‘em die.
- So Crimson lives in the Greed ring, yeah? Why is everything green? The color traditionally associated with greed as a sin is yellow, while green is reserved for envy. For that matter, you’d think all the sharks here would fit in better in the Envy ring, since it’s ruled by Leviathan, a sea creature. Did they seriously just slap the wrong name on the Envy ring? They used the traditional deep blue for the Lust ring back in “Ozzie’s”, so this is a glaring inconsistency.
- I’ve mentioned before that Viv Medrano likes using the same design elements a bit too much in her characters (bow ties, gold teeth, differently-colored fingertips, etc), and it looks like we can add concentric eye rings to the list. Notice how both Striker and Chaz have these.
The other sharks in the mob have them too, but Striker’s an imp, not a shark (despite looking like he was ripped off from a shark), so it’s not species-related. Does it represent the characters’ personalities or serve any sort of plot function? Fuck if I know.
- Bit of a nitpick, but the black “cross” shape at the tip of Chaz’s nose is wildly inconsistent from scene to scene. Sometimes it’s thin, sometimes it’s thick, sometimes it has pointed tips, sometimes it has rounded ones. More thorough model sheets for the cleanup department would help mitigate this in the future.
- So prison is a thing that exists in Hell, huh? And so are banks, I guess. And they look exactly the same as they do in the human world. See, this isn’t the kind of episode that’d necessarily benefit from worldbuilding, since it’s not relevant to the plot (or not yet, anyway, but we’ll get there). But seeing all these ordinary settings just reminds me of how pointless the entire “Hell” thing is, and how no one could be bothered to invent a new world for the characters to live in. (Seriously, demon characters disguised as humans in the human world. I’m tellin’ ya. Barely anything in the story would change.)
- Guys, ya didn’t have to explain the Titanic reference. Most viewers probably would have caught it even if Blitzo hadn’t pointed it out. I’m sure even the zoomers who hadn’t been born when it came out would at least recognize the meme. Give your audience more credit.
- I’ll level with y’all: The dildo pixellation is distracting as hell. If a show made for network TV had it, fine, I understand. But Helluva Boss is made for the internet, which has much more lenient censorship standards. Hell, BoJack Horseman, a Netflix show, features a sex robot with a couple attached dildos, neither of which are censored. Is this just a Youtube monetization thing I’m not aware of? Because I checked their community guidelines, and while they mention “using sex toys to give viewers sexual gratification”, there’s nothing remotely sexy about their use in this episode. They function only as comedic props, not tools of titillation. All about that context, baby. Not that I’m super gung-ho to see a bunch of multicolored dicks in their full glory; the censorship’s just a little annoying.
- I understand the need to give Moxxie a reason to fear Crimson, but the physical violence is a tad gratuitous. Crimson didn’t really need to hit Moxxie’s mom in the past, or Moxxie in the present, to be intimidating. Abusers don’t have to lay a finger on their victims in order to frighten them.
I’m starting to see a pattern: Stella tried to hit Stolas, too. It’s like these writers think abuse needs to employ some physical element, or else it’s not really abuse. Which... no, that’s not at all how it works. And considering how Moxxie escaped an abuser only to find himself working for another one (oh, but he’s hard on him because he CaREs, guys! Yeah, bullshit), it only makes this sequence harder to watch. Mox deserves so much better.
- Helping his dad drown that guy seems like a traumatic memory for Moxxie, so why is he in a business where all he does is kill people? Hasn’t he ever wanted or tried to be anything else? A musician, maybe? We know he can sing and play guitar, so...
- Holy shit, did we really need that shot of Crimson with the dildos just after the exceedingly dark flashback? Talk about tone whiplash!
- I mentioned earlier that worldbuilding wouldn’t affect this episode’s plot... for the most part. The wedding scene is a case in which it would.
So, really think about this for a second: We’re in Hell. And there’s a wedding that looks like a typical one would in the human world. We’ve got flowers, an aisle, a block of chairs on either side, and...
A priest?!
Seriously, the dude officiating is dressed up like a Christian priest. White robes, hat, the works. Sure, his outfit and book have inverted crosses, but that doesn’t explain why everything else looks so similar to what you might see in a Christian ceremony. It’s like the demons of Hell saw a Christian wedding and were like, “Oh cool let’s do it exactly like that”. Don’t you think Lucifer, the king of Hell in this universe, might have a tiny problem with this??
And for that matter, why is marriage even a thing in Hell? Why do demons feel the need to justify their long-term relationships with human customs? Why can’t they form their own traditions to celebrate their love?
I get that this is all visual shorthand the audience will be familiar with. I get that they’ll take it all in and recognize this event as a wedding in seconds. But in earlier scenes, Crimson already established that a wedding would take place the next day. So with that label in mind, the audience should be able to tell that this ceremony was a wedding, no matter how it looks.
Would a more unorthodox version feel out of place in the very “humanized” culture and surroundings the show has established? Yeah, kinda. But there could be a throwaway line from the priest explaining that he insists on doing things the old way, with the traditions demons once embraced before Hell was overrun with human souls and human practices (”This is how we did it back in my day, before the sinners came.” Then Chaz is like, “Ha! You said came!” or something). This could be a glimpse into a demonic subculture fighting to preserve their heritage, which future episodes could explore further. Think of all the subtext and story potential packed into a single sentence. But, y’know, creating a by-the-numbers world is just easier. So.
- Remember how I said there was one thing holding Millie’s fight scene back from being great? It’s the camera. It zooms in too far and moves around way too much, to the point where it’s hard to see what’s going on at times. Ideally, the animation and frame composition should work in tandem, hitting all the snapshots of action they need to hit for visual clarity, and doing little else. A bit of camera shake here and there is fine, but there’s no need for all this wobbling back and forth. I shouldn’t need Dramamine just to watch a damn web series.
- At one point, Crimson says to his minions, “What the fuck! She’s a dame! She’s a broad! Kill her!”, implying that women should be easy to kill. I don’t know if Horvitz improvised those lines or what, but considering that Crimson’s gang has two female members (one of whom we even saw moving a body earlier), it feels like there’s a disconnect between the dialogue and the art department.
I dunno, man. If women aren’t that tough, maybe don’t use them as soldiers in your crime syndicate?? Inconsistencies aplenty in this episode, sheesh.
In conclusion, running the script by another set of eyes during the writing stage would benefit this show immensely. I know it seems like I had a lot of gripes with this one (what else is new, amirite), but honestly, this is one of the better Helluva Boss episodes. When the series ends (or when the writing gets so bad I can’t watch anymore), I might post my personal ranking of all the installments I’ve seen. For the first time in a long time, I’m actually curious to see what kind of story the next episode will tell. It’s almost like a series with an episodic plot structure can be interesting without the creator’s favorite ship hogging the focus. Funny how that works.

(to The Loyal Three) a letter with the message: “your friend is in trouble and is being tormented by your boss Dokutaro! If you want to help him. You’ll need to partner with Ogerpon in order to succeed in freeing Kieran.”
(To carmine) a letter with a teleporter to kitakami. The letter says: “Your brother is in Danger! Take this teleporter and go to kitakami. HURRY BEFORE HE-” the note is cut off with a crude drawing of Kieran transforming into a serpent creature.
(To Florian/Juliana) a letter that says what the hell are you two doing?! Crazy stuffs been going around kitakami and you ain’t doing NOTHING ABOUT IT?! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!”

Suguru Geto x fem!Reader
Fluff, slight angst. Geto tries to make it up to you on your “date”.
First Person pov
Suguru Geto was about thirty minutes late and we were suppose to meet at 5:30. He promised me last night over text that he wouldn’t be late and that in fact I would be the one late. Yet here I am waiting on his slow ass. I can’t believe that guy. I decided to leave our designated meeting spot to do some shopping for myself. If he won’t take me out, then I’ll just treat myself. No use wasting a perfectly good day waiting on his flaky ass.
“Hey L/n!!” I heard from a distance.
I turned my head to find the voice and to my actual surprise I saw Geto running full speed towards me waving his right arm in the air frantically. A few seconds later he was by my side catching his breathe.
“You better have a good reason to be late Geto”! I exclaimed to him
“I know I’m sorry. My alarm didn’t go off and I rushed here as fast as I could.” He said while taking short breaths.”
“Yeah…sure” I said while rolling my eyes
“L/n I really am sorry. I overslept and I’m being honest about that. I really do keep fucking up our friendship don’t I?” He said as he composed himself and looked at me. His hair was down and he looked tired. I guess he really needed some sleep.
“Fine I guess. Well you’re here now, so what did you have in mind to do today?” I asked him still slightly pissed that he was late.
“Well I have a big surprise, but that’s for later today. So we can do whatever you’d like until then if you want.” Geto said with a smile.
“What’s the surprise?” I questioned
“It really wouldn’t be a surprise then if I told you.” He chucked
“I suppose it wouldn’t. Alright then I guess I’m a getting a little hungry if you wanted to go get something.” I told him
“Any place in mind?” He asked me
“Yeah, let’s go to that new restaurant just a couple of blocks from here.” I suggested
“Sounds good to me L/n. Lead the way.” He said.
As we walked to our destination I couldn’t help but feel comfortable with him. He was good company when he wasn’t late or being an asshole with Gojo. We passed many different shops that I wanted to go to. I expressed my desires to Geto and he didn’t even question why I wanted to go. He seemed to like to say yes to everything. I have a feeling he’s sucking up to me because he flaked on me during our mission and because he was late.
Just as we were about to arrive at the restaurant, I noticed an orange cat in a alley way. They were a bigger cat with a long tail and a missing ear. My heart hurt for the little guy. I bent down to pet him and so did Geto. They were as friendly as could be and I couldn’t help but smile at the cute creature. Turing my head to see how Geto was doing I noticed he had a big smile on his face as well. For some reason that made me feel fuzzy inside. And a faint blush graced my features.
“Damn this cat his cute.” Geto suddenly said
“Yeah. I wish I could take it with me. I don’t think Yaga would appreciate that though.” I said in a solemn tone.
“If he never finds out I don’t think it’ll matter. Geto responded
“He’s pretty good at finding out stuff like this. Remember that time Gojo found a dog and tried to keep it?” I asked laughing at the memory.
“Oh yeah how could I forget the look on his face when Yaga told him he couldn’t keep it. I think this is different though.” He said
“How is this any different from that?” I questioned him.
“Well for one Yaga actually likes you and you’re a responsible person. Two that dog was massive and had flees and who knows why else. Three I know for certain Yaga likes cats.” Geto spoke honestly
“Okay you got me there. And how the hell did you know that he likes cats?” I asked him while petting the cat.
“I may have over heard him talking on phone with someone. And he called that certain someone kitten.” He said with a serious expression on his face that caused me to laugh.
“Yeah sure he did Geto” I responded
“Hey I’m sure this cat will be here when we get back. So do you want to head out?” Geto questioned
“Sure, I’ve been dying to try that new place anyway.” I responded getting up
After we said our goodbyes to that cat, we made our way to the restaurant. Just like before it was a quiet comfortable walk. Today was beautiful as the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and the day was warm. I loved days like this because they reminded me of my mother. We use to walk in the family gardens together when I was a child. That was so long ago. I smiled at that thought.
“Hey what’s got you so happy?” Geto asked as he put a hand on my shoulder.
“Nothing just enjoying the day is all.” I told him
“It is a lovely day.” He responded
“It certainly is.”
“Almost as lovely as you”he said in a whisper. This made me blush. I’m sure it was just him being kind to me. Yet I still couldn’t help but feel fluttery at his comment.
After a short amount of time we made it to our destination. Just as I was about to open the door, Geto beat me to it. Stating it was a gentlemanly thing to do. I rolled my eyes at his comment and walked in. The restaurant was simple yet elegant. As soon as I walked in I smelled a wonderful aroma of baked goods that a little giddy with anticipation. Geto and I then made our way to a table near a window so that we could enjoy the sun a little more. Opening our menus I noticed a lot of really wonderful dishes and baked items. Our waiter came up to as for our orders and I ordered (f/f) and (f/d) and Geto ordered a coffee and a piece of chocolate cake.
“So are you enjoying yourself today L/N?” Geto asked leaning back on his chair with crossed arms.
“Yes I think I am. I haven’t had a day where I can just do anything in a long time. My father is persistent that I do training whether I can do that I can reach my full potential.” I spoke honestly mimicking his posture.
“He sounds like a hard ass. He won’t give you shit for being here with me today will he”? He asked with sloughs nervousness in his tone.
“Nah and if he does I’ll deal with it later. It’s not like I do this everyday. Plus he thinks your strong so he won’t care that I’m out with you.” I said turning my head to look out of the window.
“We’ll me and Gojo are the strongest y’know.” He chuckled.
“I’m fully aware of that. However, I’m not too far behind you and I will surpass you in power. Or at least be able to rival you in my curse technique soon. I just need a little more time.” I told him Turing my head to look him in the eyes with a serious determined glare.
“Sheesh alright then I trust you. You have me beat with just hand to hand combat so hell maybe you will surpass me with your cursed technique. Just don’t push yourself too much.” Geto spoke reaching his hand out and giving my shoulder a reassuring squeeze.
“I’ll try but I can’t promise anything. Like you said my father is a real hard ass.” I said while softening my glare. Damn this boy he has some sort of hold on my that makes me feel so soft inside. I’m not sure if I hate it or not.
Just then our waiter came with our meals. The food was divine and the first bite left my body with goosebumps. Geto laughed at my reaction to the food, but then I teased him because he want any less funny. He had chocolate cake all over his lips. He looked like a toddler eating their first piece of cake. It was hard not to laugh. One of the strongest Jujutsu sorcerers eating like a toddler was a sight to see. After my laughter and pointing out the sugary mess he quickly wiped his mouth. A little while later Geto paid claiming it was his treat for being so late. I don’t complain one bit considering he did owe me. As we left the sky began turning a deep orange with purple, yellow, and pink all blending into the heavenly sky. The cherry blossoms looked ethereal with the sunset cascading onto them. It was truly a lovely sight to behold. I have no idea how long I stared at them but I felt Geto tap my shoulder.
“You okay up there L/N”? Geto questioned.
“Yeah I’m just fine.” I said to him. I then turned my head to look at him only to be completely awestruck. Just as ethereal as the cherry blossoms was the sight before me. Getos skin had been kissed by the wonderful colors. His eyes were glowing with radiance. He was smiling at me and I swear I had never seen a more beautiful smile than the one graced before me. I couldn’t speak all I could do was marvel at the sight before me with a raging heat on my face.

A goddess. That’s what Y/N L/N was at this very moment. Todays sunset was particularly beautiful. However the ways the sunsets color had illuminated her. Her eyes seemed to glow with a raging fire. Her skin was radiating a godlike glow. She as an ethereal being I swear. I’ve met plenty of pretty girls but none of them compare to the goddess that stood before me.
Her lips in this moment seemed so soft and plump. All I wanted to do was kiss her, but would that be okay? Would I ruin what little grave I had left with her? Did today make her forgive me for my shitty behavior? All of these questions came flooding in yet left as soon as they came. She was leaning in so I did what anyone would do. I leaned in too. My hand found her cheek and I could already feel her breath on my face. Time seemed to completely slow down. Our lips barely touched and I was ready to take this next step with her. And then at the worst fucking possible time I hear this agonizing voice booming behind me.
“HEY YOU GUYS!” screamed the one and only Satoru Gojo. I’m normally use to his annoying behavior. He is my best friend after all. And yet I find myself wanting to strangle him right about now.
“Hello Satoru” I say irritated and gritting my teeth.
“Hey Gojo” L/N says in a similar tone
“Well damn are you guys both in a sour mood or something?” He asked innocently
“Nope not at all” I say facing him with a slight annoyed glare.
“Alright, I was just in town and knew you guys were here. It’s almost curfew ya’know. You guys don’t want Yaga on your asses.” He joked
“We were just leaving Gojo. I could also say the same thing about you. Why are you here?” L/N asked
“If you must know I felt a little peckish, so I decided to get some mochi. I heard this place was pretty good so I wanted to come get some before curfew.” He responded excitedly
“Well, it certainly was good. Hope you have a good time bud.” I said while patting him on the back and pulling on L/N’s arm indicating I wanted to go.
“Aww alright see you guys later.” Satoru pouted.
“Yeah later” L/N and I spoke at the same time.
After we had said our goodbyes, we began walking back to our school. I guess we spent a little long in the restaurant. I just hope I have time for the surprise I had planned. Hopefully she’ll like it. And as if on cue…
“So what about that surprise huh?” She said tugging on my arm.
“We need to go to the school in order to see it. Don’t worry I think you’ll like it.” I said confidently.
“Hmmm alright. I’m sure I’ll like it. It’s not too hard to please me.” She joked
“Hehe yeah I’m sure” I chucked nervously
“It’s a shame though.” She spoke
“What is?” I questioned
“We passed that alley that cat was at and he wasn’t there. I hope he’ll be okay tonight.” She said as her head was looking at the sky.
“I’m sure he will be. If you’re that worried, we can go look for him. Although I’m not sure you’ll get your surprise tonight if that’s the case.” I told her honestly.
“It’s okay. I’m sure you’re right about him. Plus I’m pretty excited about this so called ‘surprise’” she said while doing air quotations with her fingers
“Alright then I’ll race you there” I beamed as I began running.
“What the hell Geto!!!” L/N screamed as she began running too.
Your pov
Dammit all right to hell. I just ate and now I’m running. This is not exactly what I’d call fun. But at least I’m getting some training in today. Plus the school isn’t too far from here. I’m surprised at Geto’s attitude. I never took him for the randomly racing type but I guess you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.
I won of course. Even with a head start Geto can’t beat me. His cursed energy is a little stronger than mine, but I’m a hell of a lot more skilled than he is. Still I needed to catch my breath at the gates of Jujutsu high. Eating a lot of food and then running wasn’t exactly smart. I can tell that Geto is probably thinking the same thing as he is currently hunched over catching his breath.
“So, heh, L/N follow me would ya” he said in between breaths
“Yeah sure” I said in between my own breaths.
“You beat me again it seems” Geto spoke taking the lead
“Of course I did Geto.” I laughed
“I had a good time with you L/N” he suddenly spoke in soft voice
“Me too Geto. And you know you can call me by my first name, right?” I questioned him
“Yeah, alright then Y/N.” He said looking at me. This made me melt. His eyes were beautiful and to me they were more beautiful than Gojos.
A little while longer of walking and chatting about random things we made it to the rooftop of the dorm rooms. I was confused on what kind of a surprise could be on an roof top. It was now dark with only some lights hanging by the dorm building’s door as well as the moonlight that kissed the landscape below. I noticed Geto pulling down his sleeve to look at his watch and smile.
“It’s almost time for your surprise, so make yourself comfortable.” he said
“Alright just know if you’re planning on killing me, my father will hunt you down.” I joked or tried to.
“Umm yeah I’m not gonna kill you Y/N” he deadpanned
“Good because I really don’t feel like dying yet. I’ve still gotta get stronger.” I said as I say down and looked at the moon.
“Why do you want to get stronger” he questioned
“So I can protect the weak.”
“You mean humans?” He asked
“Yep” I said emphasizing the p
“Understandable although they are the reason that we have to kill curses in the first place.” He said in a slight malicious tone.
“You okay they can’t help it. I bet if they could they wouldn’t. We have the power to stop it and I think that we should if we can.” I passionately said looking into his eyes.
“Yeah I guess you’re right. By the way we’ve got less than ten seconds until your surprise. So close your eyes.”
“For how long?” I asked him raising my left eyebrow.
“Just until I say”
After those seconds go by I hear him tell me to open my eyes. To my surprise shooting lights were gracing the sky at lightning speeds. It was such a beautiful sight. I found myself smiling at the marvel above me. I have never seen a meteor shower and I’m happy that I’m seeing one now with him. His surprise definitely was worth the wait.
“Like it?” He asked sheepishly
“Yes of course I do!” I said excitedly moving over to hug him. I have no idea why I hugged him I just felt this was the best way to hug him.
“I’m glad you do” he responded wrapping his arms around me. This hug felt just as good as the last one we shared. I didn’t notice how cold I was until I felt his body pressed against mine. It was comforting and I felt like letting go would leave me with an uncomfortable chill.
“Yeah thank you for today and you’re forgiven by the way. Today was perfect.” I said holding him a little bit harder.
“Anytime Y/N I had a good time today too.” He said as I felt him hold me harder too.
As we finally let go I looked back up at the sky to marvel again at the sight before me thankful that I get to share it with Suguru Geto. After about an hour we headed back to our dorms.
“You know we should hang out more Y/N. I enjoy your company.” Geto suddenly spoke as we reached my door.
“I agree you’re good company.” I said honesty
“Anyway goodnight I’ll see you tomorrow at breakfast.” He said with a smile
“Goodnight Geto.” I smiled back looking in his heavenly eyes
After he left I did my nightly routine and got into my bed. My thoughts were consumed by my day and how well it went. I’m glad I agreed to spend my day with him. I hope that I can spend more time with him without him finding out about my crush. That might be a bit embarrassing. As I closed my eyes I was all but consumed with thoughts of Suaguru Geto.

Heyyy if you rlly like monster, i recommed checking out a brazilian TTRPG named "Ordem Paranormal"! They got a bunch of cool monsters!
Heres a few i think u would enjoy:
The Lurker(og name is "O Espreitador")
It's first appearances(episode 1, season 4) in the TTRPG were only in stalks, only it's eyes appearing. Making the main characters paranoid, because right when they said they saw the eyes, the eyes disappear.
its full appearance only appeared in episode fourteen(still season 4), the characters actually fight it this time. This folk is able to summon almost perfect clones of the victims it watched for a long time, using they to fight the characters.
Its main thing is just stalk people. It can even drain someone's sanity while they sleep and leave them with insomnia for a few weeks just by watching they.
Also, it technically it was created by one of the characters from the first season (Daniel Hartmann), he was a writer and The Lurker was one of his tells... I dont remember how his creations created life my bad.

The foreigner("O Estrangeiro")
If you accompanied R/Place you prob heard of this one.
This one is quite a mistery yet from what I heard, but we know this folk got a big connection to the "Bells of Tenebris". Everyone who had an experience with this being went back to living their lives normally, as if nothing had happened, but still with a feeling that something is wrong, even though they don't know exactly what it is.
He just appeared in the second spin-off of the TTRPG, "Sinais do Outro Lado"

(its original introduction to the TTRPG is really, really good. It gives me chills every time I watch it. REALLY recommend taking a look)
This one was also one of the tales of Daniel!! The original story is about a creature that devours the internal organs of women who have given birth thanks to its envy of beings who receive love even before they are born.
And the devil himself says Needy is his child... Cool as hell. And yeah we got the devil in the TTRPG, we will talk about that guy later..... We got a recording from a character of Needy and Devil walking together

The Relics of Calamity("As Relíquias da Calamidade")
The relics are.... complicated.
They are fellas of great power. And only "markeds" can have control of them. Having a relic is equal of having 100% of paranormal exposure.
Long story, quick response: they are very powerfull paranormal object that when a marker takes control of them, that relic becomes one with the wielder. Sometimes, the relic takes more control of the wielder than they.
The relics are also a representation of the elements of the paranormal, energy, blood, death and knowledgent. But for now, we dont have someone to represent the element of fear, being it a very mysterious element.
In the relics, we have:
The Host(Anfitrião), relic of energy
Very chaotic guy, my favorite!! Sadly he just appeared for a few episodes, and for not having a wielder, he doesnt appear anymor :[[
His personality in general is the representation of chaos, making sick games that already distort reality making people go against each other. He doesn't care about anything that isn't his own fun.
Host doesnt like the other relics, but Devil seems to be an exception.... They are kinda of besties.
Love this guy.
The Devil(O Diabo), relic of blood
I dont know if I have much to say bout this one? Not a big Devil fan lol.
While Host just want to have fun, Devil wants to, well, fuck people's life, and he was never manipulated, defeated or imprisoned.
He is known as someone who makes pacts for people, giving them gifts after making the pact, with the payment not coming until some time later... Hes also able to summon any paranormal creature whos envolved with the element of blood, any.
The Magistrate(A Magistrada), relic of knowledgent.
The relic knowledgent is actually a mask, and whoever wear it, becomes Magistrate, the leader of the cult of mask, and their only goal is to protect the balance of reality. (We still don't know why or how...)
The Magistrate knows and remember everything that happened on earth. Everything. However, they can't interfere with reality with their wisdom
Unlike Host, Magistrate is calm and much more reserved. And because Magistrate wants this whole not interfering with reality thing, Host hates they.

When he doesn't have a wielder, he manifests himself in the form of an anachronistic civilization, which may vary in name between Holy Cradle, Sacred Beginning, Divine Beginning or Eternal Beginning.
Because God of Death have this thing or protect time and stuff, Host ALSO hates him because of a thing that happened... But if I explain this situation I would do 40 lines of explanation, and this is already big enough.

I really want to know how much of that was Ashton being genuine, and how much of it was them trying to convince Percy of something in a way they thought would work.

I am rotating Ashton in my head like they are in a microwave. They have such an interesting brand of self-deprecating hubris, such a confidence in their fatalistic tendencies, I cannot wait for them to break. I cannot wait for the moment they just break the fuck down, 'cause Ashton's disposition is like stone -- they'll never bend, they'll never yield, but when they break it will be fucking catastrophic. And when they do, I really hope that they're forced to accept that people care about them and that they care about people. Caleb's journey to that conclusion was slow and gradual and we saw every step of the way— Ashton's, I think, will be a cliff that they're pushed off of before they learn to fly.
Pike has some ideas for rituals that could help!
One seems like an astral projection type thing, very old and very powerful. The Bells Hells would need to go to where Laudna is being held by Delilah, and then separate the two of them long enough for Pike to pull Laudna away.
When a soul passes on, they go to whatever realm best matches their faith or alignment. But Laudna was in a "cold, separate" space that Pike had never felt before, and it felt "very much like Delilah." Like a fucking demiplane or something?
FCG's soul is a "unique, strange, semi-translucent light... not as bright as hers, but present, this fuzzy sparkle. As you turn your hands, you can see them shifting and moving, almost like electrical pulses, but not electricity, not arcane— it's hard to explain. You just feel warm."
"It means that you're alive. And it looks like you already have eyes on you." FCG saw the symbol of the Changebringer on their soul.

"And if it goes right, we are at your service." Hm. That's something I actually hadn't considered. Vox Machina would have no reason to intervene in something that the Bells Hells are dealing with if VM knew that they were handling it. So if the Hells tell them about Otohan and that they're confident they can deal with her, VM will have no reason to get involved until after the Hells have already failed (if they fail), at which point it's probably too late anyway.
.....The Hells didn't pass through the Divine Gate when they astral projected out to wherever Laudna and Delilah are.
They're standing on a stone floor that's covered in black fog.
FCG looks a little more amorphous; whereas everyone else is crisp and defined, the shape of them is more ethereal and fuzzy. "It's not the metal that's defining the spirit; it's more like the shape that resides within is taking form."
In this landscape, there are bits of gravel and dark gray stone, all in grayscale. There are cliffs that drop off, and areas where the fog just... stops. Beyond the immediate vicinity, sound cannot travel, like the void does not allow vibrations to transmit.
Oh this is super fucking inspired by Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. If anyone has played that game, this sounds very very similar to Aryshulae's dream realm.
There's a faint smell of vegetable rot, like a bog or compost. The wind is voices. Whispers. Multitudes. Sourceless, genderless, distant and beyond the fog.
yo that is an awesome use of the immovable rod. Ashton has affixed it underneath their bracers, so they can activate it and hold on if they fall.
As they move forward, spire-like rock formations get taller and more frequent — a valley of rock needles, until eventually they push up past beyond the fog. Some of them begin to grow branches and the whispers grow louder. "There she is." "Get her." Eventually, they get to a petrified forest — petrified or mimicked by stone, they can't tell. The ground is mimicking pitfalls, bushes, ferns — but it's all stone.

how long has Laudna been here? hollow ones don't have a soul. so has Laudna's soul been here ever since she died, trapped by Delilah?
"There is a cot, a stone fireplace resembling the stones gathered from the forest, and within it a small fire burns. There is a small table and a stool, and on the table, you see tools— a pair of scissors, a knife. The body of a rat. On the stool, you see a shadow shape, a black flame barely holding there, flickering in and out of existence... you don't feel like she's there, but you see the shape of Laudna sitting there, making something at the table... you see a small purple light that just kind of sits in her chest."
The whispers get louder. "There she is! There's the witch, burn her!" The black flame vanishes, the fire curls up, and the stone cabin begins to burn. A bunch of shadows converge on the cabin, and start initiative!
ohhhh. maybe these are Laudna's memories (making it even more inspired by Pathfinder WotR btw). maybe she tried to make a life for herself outside of Whitestone or some other city and got chased away for being a "witch." maybe that's why she was on the run when she found Imogen. maybe we'll get to see the scene when she and Imogen met.
and that would also track. because what if all of this shit is stone and grayscale because these aren't actual memories, but neurological imprints left on the physical form of Laudna? things that were never experienced by the soul, never imprinted on the soul, but were in the body, so now they're here like echoes?
Ashton rage build update: Tal finally rolled possibility! also, their entire astral form flickers with the energy of their rage, not just their head. an ally within 10 feet of Ashton (including themself) can add 1d4 to attacks and saving throws. it's essentially a 10-foot radial bless that lasts for as long as they maintain their rage. know your enemy is Liam's keen mind of C3, and the possibility rage build is Tal's bless of C3.
yeah. yeahyeahyeah. Imogen said "they always-- that's how they always ran her out of town." so this is a memory of the Laudna we know -- Laudna after she died the first time.

maybe it's because the lighting is making it easier to envision all of this in my adhd/asd brain, but it feels like early C3 is much more cinematic than early C2 was.
there's a little alcove underneath the house with roots. the roots lead to a tunnel. this goes to a ziggurat, right? like, this is some kind of fucked up amalgamation of Laudna and Delilah's memories because they were intwined in undeath?
"You're going down, but as you step out, you see sky facing you. A purplish, faintly obscured starscape, like a night sky with purple nebulous cloud in the distance, like you're staring into a cosmic shadow. On the sides, you see more roots, pushing downward. As you step forward, the gravity seems to shift, and suddenly you're emerging from the floor of another forest-like realm around you... you see more of these trees, and then beyond them, a wall, partially crumbled. Rooftops. Not far beyond them, a massive leafless tree, hundreds and hundreds of bare branches looming over this shaded city, with a faint bit of green light drifting out like a mist, filling the city and lighting it from underneath."

1: I’m very vague on Abigail’s story overall, but I know how it ends, specifically. If they were in a game it’d be a very short game compared to base game Undertale, only going up to Waterfall before encountering the “final boss” they couldn’t beat. (Hint: it’s not undyne) Gonna leave it mostly in the dark besides that for the time being (because it’d take too long to draw)
2: Nope, but here’s a quick sketch of an electric guitar
3: Ohhhhh well, in the beginning I just drew a bunch of rookie level digimon to practice and do a sort of “attribute swap” where I draw stuff like plant digimon as dragon digimon or dragon digimon as birds, etc etc. But a lot of more recent work is actually modern designs for pen and marker drawings from when I was like 7! Some have changed names, some have improved colors, all of them have improved designs. Here’s an example!
When I get around to drawing their champion and ultimate levels it’ll probably diverge even more as I get different ideas as to where I want the lines to go. I also just love making digimon cause I often draw to fill empty niches in works I notice, and digimon basically has infinite of those cause you can partner a digimon up with any character and then try to think of a special line for them! As for my current favorite… it’s a strange choice, but definitely CryoGreymon! Most of the body is traced from official art of the normal Greymon, but I liked the modifications I made. I redrew an entire leg to give him a wider stance, added more spikes and stripes!!
It’s a champion form of Snow Agumon cause they never gave him a digivolution despite being the coolest variant (Hehehe cool and snow, get it?)
4: At first I was gonna do Aria for this, but then I remembered Cloe and fuck yeah let’s do her.
CLOE, pronounced Chloe is a character for a sci-fi mystery game, and when I say sci-fi, I mean space travel and aliens sci-fi. She’s an early game red herring meant to be reasonably suspicious to the characters, but obviously innocent to us, along with being a parody of every horror movie alien. She’s from a species that grows to disguise itself as other creatures and infiltrate their society. Her species needs a very high protein count. However being a species means they don’t all think the same. Some eat the creatures they disguise amongst, others steal prey, some intimidate others into satisfying their hunger. Cloe herself is an orphan and only survivor of an alien ship that crashed into a human controlled planet, and isn’t a species allowed on human controlled planets. Fortunately the agency that ends up handling the case where she’s exposed also was established in the first place to handle these type of situations. She follows one of the protagonists around after it’s obvious she’s innocent, and post game she goes under his care for the foreseeable future. As an alien she’s not allowed in normal school, so she spends her time at his house both studying and finding hobbies, like speedrunning in video games.
5: Not sure if you meant my favorite one I’ve made? I’m still trying to come up with all their designs tbh. But my favorite concepts ever were the vague one of Gifted Order and I also really like Two Bloodstained Hands. Gifted Order basically makes a part of themselves into a Slugcat, but gives themself rot in the process. They don’t quite see it as themselves, but are satisfied to give part of themselves freedom. This is inspired by a plot point in a game I like, leaving it vague which. I also like Two Bloodstained Hands’ concept of being feared just because they associate with violence in their work even though they aren’t a violent iterator
6: A lot of it is really just doing it over and over again, but aside from that I might have a couple tips? Most objects are made up of basic shapes, then you smooth them over. Depending on your art style, you don’t have to use every shape either, just a circle for the head is fine if you’re drawing something simple. Hair can be done with just wavy lines usually. And one thing I learned recently is practicing line weight!! Balancing thin lines and thick lines can give more direction to artwork or help highlight the silhouette if the outside is made thick.
7: god, I have so many… but in terms of Pokémon, I do have a bunch of fakemon designs! Remind me later and I’ll put up I’ll the fan-eeveelution designs I made

youve got based thoughts on primeboys tbh. metal tommy is a fantastic idea. like. imagine being so obsessed with the image of this kid you have in your head that you make a copy of him?? or better yet we go the rusty rose route and he was the tommy we knew at one point but hes so warped by the upgrades and such that hes near unrecognizable. woof dude.
oh i have a lot of detailed thoughts on him based off a dream i had last night!
so basically, instead of straight up killing sam, dream forces him to build him metal tommy instead. he's this uncanny valley nightmare creature, being very clearly tommy but also being built entirely for combat with sharp edges and raised armoured sections, big ass claws, a million embedded weapons, and jets in his feet to improve his mobility. also the black and red eyes and lack of mouth bc i gotta pay homage to the little terminator hedgehog who named my blog after all 🥰 dream is the only person who doesn’t find him inherently terrifying and offputting.
mentally, he's designed with two goals- first, capture tommy dead or alive and keep him from escaping for his “papa” dream, and second to obey all of dream’s orders without question. sam deliberately programmed them to take priority in those order in the desperate hope that if he malfunctioned due to that dream would just discard of him. obviously, he’s not designed to outright defeat tommy- dream doesn’t need him as his protege anymore, he’s got metal tommy for that, but he still finds him entertaining and sees him as a friend in a deeply unhealthy and dehumanising way, so he wants to keep him alive, just not free, and if he has to revive him a few times so be it.
dream is… not a good dad to his new robot child. he's expected to basically be the protege version of tommy that dream was working towards in exile, but he’s an entirely new person who's literally just came into existence and despite having a wealth of mad science, necromancy, tactics, and combat knowledge in his head he's still essentially a newborn. while he can’t physically hurt metal tommy, since he's basically indestructible and can’t feel pain, he sure as fuck can mentally abuse the shit out of him for failing to live up to an expectation he could never be reasonably assumed to reach!
so metal tommy is like, a fucking mess personality wise. he's essentially an emotionless quiet killer robot out of choice, because he's terrified of ever saying or doing the wrong thing. he mimics tommy obsessively, because if he doesn’t act close enough to him he's punished. he literally has no sense of right or wrong. he's desperate to please his “papa”, knowing nothing but him and his very conditional love, but he's perceptive enough to pick up on the fact he’s just a substitute for his “uncle” tommy in dream's head and desperately wants to prove that he's the better tommy, and that he deserves love more than him- because as much as dream's friendship with tommy is incredibly fucked up and obsessive, metal tommy has known literally no other.
also, y’know. tommy might essentially be sonic personality wise, but he’s also way more traumatised and physically destroyed from the world around him. he's not going to be able to have cool fights with his robot doppelganger or anything, he's going to get fucked up. he can’t fight- his only options are to use his wits, his words, or to run like hell. and it’s not like metal tommy is an undefeatable threat, but he’s not a fightable one. nor is he able to be reasoned or sweet-talked out of his obsessive goal- he has no choice but to fulfill his programming, whether he wants to or not. and it’s only a matter of time before he decides he’s going to prove to his papa that he’s the only one worthy of his twisted affection whether he wants it or not, and then he won’t even be taking orders from dream anymore.
so yeah that’s how u make metal sonic an even more fucked up concept.

the thing about mikoto of milgram fame is that hes like. okay. so theres a lot that cant be said about him yet because his 2nd trial hasnt released and wont be for quite a while and his music video and interrogation only tell us so much. but what they DO tell us is um. enough to say some things
if he answered his interrogation questions honestly, we know he has a younger sister he brags about, his parents are divorced and his father isnt involved in their lives. in regards to his mother, he says that “she raised me. i cant let her worry.”
he downplays his own interests/hobbies a lot. he said he played baseball in high school but that he wasnt good at it; he went to an art school but did so in order to go into business (though design was related to his chosen company) and says that he likes drawing but, again, isnt good at it.
he says he hates working late nights but we see him pulling an all nighter at work in ‘undercover’. when asked why hes working his current job, he says he worked incredibly hard to even get hired, so its something to be proud of.
finally, when asked if he ever gets angry, he says he doesnt. he says, “i dont think ive ever gotten angry before. isnt it disgraceful to get angry?”

all these little things add up to paint a picture of a stressed and deeply repressed guy working a job he doesnt actually like (but he has to have a successful job he can brag about or his mother will worry) he thinks little of his own interests and hobbies and socializes more out of obligation than out of genuine desire. all of this culminates to um...his present situation...
basically what i want to say is that i think its fine. also i think he killed someone and immediately repressed it but that incident is entirely unrelated to his anime brand DID and his alter. who aside from trying to whale on es that one time has only ever really showed up to be like “can you shut the fuck up. and get away from me. im trying to be normal over here and you are RUINING my life” or to pace around in mikotos cell in the middle of the night like a creature. i think mikoto 2 was entirely unrelated to mikotos repression stress induced rage murder but they might have cleaned up after him idk. we will see. mikoto wants to be a normal guy having a normal time and not worrying his family at all ever and never experiencing anything like anger or frustration at all EVER EVER!! because he has to set a good example for his sister and be the perfect son for his mom so she can relax. and he doesnt think he can do the things he enjoys for the sake of doing them. so what im saying is if he killed someone who cares. whatever.
also we should all mass vote him forgiven/innocent just to spite kotoko after last nights birthday timeline post. AND because it would be funny as hell and the fandom flopped HARD voting haruka guilty/unforgiven. like god forbid girls have a little fun 🙄
btw its my firm belief that the tarot set we see in his mv (and i could talk a lot about the rest of the imagery used in that video but its almost 2am and ive rambled long enough) was designed by him during college. really funny to think about it like that. he does have one of the card designs (the. hangman, actually. i think) visible on a canvas in his apartment, partially obscured behind his couch at one point. so. lol

Hey! So I totally haven’t been binge reading all your Eddie fics for the last hour… anyway, first and foremost, I’ve gotta let you know they’re all fucking wonderful. Secondly, I was actually hoping to request something if you’re still accepting requests? I got the idea of Eddie with a Cop!Reader who is tasked with protecting him all throughout the boathouse & Jason gang ordeal. Reader is his age (but graduated on time unlike someone…) and they’ve been a sort of crush of Eddie’s for a while but now they actually get to interact. This was not how you expected to spend your weekend. Not by a long shot. You never expected to be holed up in a boat house with Eddie "the freak" Munson, but you've had shittier jobs in your line.
You had only been a cop for two years now, having graduated and went straight into the academy. This was your sophomore year and you were excited to be able to finally be allowed on the field. And who would've thunk it that your second job ever would be protecting your high school weed dealer.
"What the actual hell are you doing here?" Eddie asked when he seen you sitting in your cop car outside of the boat house. It was dark out so he felt a bit safer stepping outside.
"Official police business, Munson." You nodded, "Also know as keeping you safe."
"Safe? How did you know where I was?"
"Do you forget that we went to school together? I know where you got your weed from. Once they said they couldn't find you, I knew exactly where to look."
"So are you going to turn me in now or what?" Eddie sighed.
"No. Listen, I know this town is...cursed. And I've seen the body. I know you're not capable of doing something like that." You sighed, "You're a little weird but...if that wasn't the work of something supernatural, then I don't know what is."
Eddie visably relaxed a bit as you followed him back to the boat house. He held the door open for you and allowed you to walk in first.
"You got a gun?" Eddie asked.
"Locked and loaded," you nodded.
"Good. Because I'm going to need you to either shoot me or shoot that fucker Jason." Eddie sighed, "Does the other cops know where I am?"
"No. I'm actually off duty right now." You nodded, sitting down on the bench to the left of the building.
"So what...you're doing this out of the kindness of your heart?" He snorted.
"Something like that." You nodded, "You were nice to me in school. Not a lot of people were nice to me then. Now that I'm a cop, even lesser people treat me like a human. I just wanted to pay you back for it."
"Thanks," Eddie said, almost in disblief, "But I don't want you to risk your job just to protect me. If this...whatever is coming after me, it just needs to be me and me alone. I don't know if I can fight for both me and you at the same time."
"You won't have to," you nodded, tapping your hip where your gun was holstered "I'll fight for the both of us. If some unknown creature comes after us, just run."
A few hours had went by and it was the middle of the night when you looked over at Eddie. You had been talking and chatting, hopefully getting his mind off of everything that was going wrong in his life.
"You know Munson, I used to have a crush on you." You blurted out, causing him to stop in his tracks as he looked over at you.
"Say that again?" He plucked the cigarette from between his lips, "I don't think I heard you right."
"You heard me right," you snorted, "In our freshman year when you and your band played at the talen show. Corroded Coffin was the name, wasn't it?"
"Still is," Eddie nodded.
"Yeah. I thought you were the coolest kid in school." You grinned, "I still have one of your guys' shirt. I wear it to sleep at night. It's comfortable."
"You still have that?" His eyes widened as he walked closer to you, "Which design?"
"The one with the demon wings surrounding your name." You smirked, "Best $10 I've ever spent."
He stared at you in shock and awe for a moment before he cracked a smile.
"You realize the irony of this, right?" He snorted.
"Yeah. I'm a cop admitting I had a crush on a drug dealer." You snorted.
"If we get out of this alive---"
"If we get out of this alive, Munson, you're taking me to dinner." You said, making him laugh.

I have just, as the eternal joke goes, Beaten OFF.
Alas, I did not like it.
Core gameplay is Bad-actually wholly generic turn-based nothing. Similar goes for the puzzles-I do like how they don't hold your hand, but 90% of the time the solution is look at a thing one screen over, write it down/memorize/screenshot it and return without much more than that. And even then the exceptions (i.e. cafeteria navigation puzzle) tend to be Inconsistent or arbitrary (why is it 1 to 1 going black to green but 5 to 6 going black to orange.) But it isn't really what OFF is about, is it? That's excusable but holds it back.
I do gotta give credit to both the art and music here, both are great. Music stood out basically everywhere I went and I love the general creature designs going on, even the sprites were sometimes hard to pick apart (I think that's the point but gneh.)
But that story. Man. It's definitely a High degree of seinfield effected, it's 20 years old and clearly at the root of a lot of current capital I Indie Game:tm: culture/expectations but fucking hell if that final section didn't feel like breaking out the entire book of negative stereotypes on what this kinda game is about. Y'know, the whole being a Mind Palace creation of a child from a dying world who fully reutilized things/people around them in their Mind Palace with heavy implications of actual fucking murder/abuse et cetera et cetera. We even get some fun points of being forced into beating the fuck out of said child (doesn't fight back) to progress. Smile emoji. Which like Yeah Sure it's 20 years old it inspired all that shit absolutely but I don't think it does it very well yfeel.
I didn't complete it complete it-there's at least two other endings, I think (felix and collecting the doodads) but it. did not leave a good enough taste in my mouth to make me want to do that. Prob gonna move on.

ooh you play modded now? what are your fave mods/which ones do you recommend?
yeah, i joined a modded server a while back and now it's hard to adjust to vanilla minecraft again! As for favourite mods, it's hard to choose just a few but here you go
(i use fabric btw but i'm p sure at least most of these have forge versions)
If you're really into lore, questing, lore, adventure, and lore, End Remastered is really good. Regular eyes of ender no longer work- you need to find 12 of the 16 special Eyes scattered around the world via exploring, fighting, and mining! Each Eye comes with its own cool as hell design, and if you mouse over it, you will obtain Lore!
Extra bonus points if you combine it with Yung's Better Strongholds, which makes strongholds cool as fuck. Extra EXTRA bonus points if you combine the two with BetterEnd which I'm gonna detail later on.
Speaking of Yung's Better Strongholds, the creator also has upgrades to other structures as well. I've only tried three of their mods, though, the other two being the one with bridges, and the mineshaft one. They're pretty good.
Clutter adds various fun things to the world and I can't get enough of it. Features it gives you include: butterflies (including nether ones), cherry fruit, super cute little kiwi birds, some cute blocky furniture including really pretty lacy curtains you can open and close, moss-and-flower-covered deer in lush caves, butterfly wing elytras in every colour, books placeable on the ground, little floating fish in the End, and adorable plushies of various creatures!
And if the plushies in Clutter aren't enough for you, there's also Perfect Plushies to add even more! I especially love the bunny one it's so cute
Not enough decorations? Beautify is a particular favourite of mine. Like Clutter, its decorations are vanilla styled (I've never particularly been one for furniture/decoration mods full of circles). Some favourite features of mine include lattices you can put flowers on to have them growing on your house (I covered the ceiling of a room of my base in flowers that way), hanging pots you can put most plants in, and book stacks that give power to your enchanting table while making your enchantment setup look cool.
Speaking of pretty things, Oh The Biomes You'll Go is a must-have. Seriously, it's so pretty and so good for exploration and building. The trees are massive and range from forests of perpetual autumn to purple leaves with pink flowers, there's places so full of colourful flowers it's impossible to ever use them all, there's rare enchanted forests with cyan roses and there's tall cliffs with pools at the top with lilypads and how have i not mentioned the massive stone arches covered in moss yet?
After BYG, the second best biome mod is definitely Regions Unexplored. You've gotta get this one for the rainbow glowing crystal caves alone. That being said, the lands with blue and purple leaves on all the trees, forests with big glowing mushrooms, poppy fields, pumpkin fields some of which are naturally carved (you could make a lore out of this), and fuzzy hanging plant-like things in the nether with glowing ends don't hurt either.
What's that? That's not enough pretty things for you? Well, even if it's actually more than enough, you absolutely need to get BetterEnd. Legitimately the prettiest mod I've ever seen. The starry sky alone will blow your mind. And then we've got aurora crystals which are as pretty as they sound, colourful mosses and glowing flowers everywhere, crystal and petal and snowflake particles in the air in places, huge trees with leaves in every colour out there and lots of flowery vines or lichen, very spooky dark forests that i've gone full tma statement-giver mode about, large glowing mushroom-trees covered in moss some of which are big enough to build a village on top of, golden spiral trees, massive star-shaped formations of emerald ice in the sky... I really can't describe how pretty betterend is you have to see it for yourself. Also crystal elytras. And a wood type with spiral patterns in the logs. And an enchantment that lets you look at endermen without angering them. And pink silk moths.
On the other hand, if you're looking for something a little more... spooky, or you're really into lore, The Graveyard is one of my favourite mods ever. The mobs are terrifying, between the blood and the way they move and the fact that some of them have glowing white eyes which sets my Minecraft veteran instincts off hard, but the structures are awesome and the lore is INSANE, to the point that I've got an entire google doc dedicated to my observations with this one mod and have imagined up music videos about the lore and the happenings that led to my uncovering of more and more of it. You're gonna find yourself going crazy seeking out more and more structures with lecterns, chests, and item frames containing books written by someone long dead, and getting closer to putting together the pieces (hehe double meaning). It's also got by far the coolest bossfight I've EVER done in Minecraft, with a REALLY good song that plays during it. And tons of skeleton decorations you can make to decorate your base for Halloween.
So if you're a fan of manmade horrors beyond your comprehension, you gotta try Graveyard.
If you're a fan of lore but don't want to have to deal with ghouls or revenants or nightmares (understandable) you still gotta try Graveyard but do it on peaceful difficulty or with commands that let you make it day or switch to creative mode at a moment's notice.
(note: Graveyard's lore contains heavy discussion of cults, as well as mentioned child death and described body horror. all avoidable.)
It's also got a companion mod called Nyctophobia that adds some spooky biomes.
Creeper Overhaul adds biome-specific creeper variants, and I'm pretty sure at least one of them is friendly and won't explode you (or at least neutral). There's bamboo, desert, dripstone, and more variants of creepers, all of them designed to camouflage into their natural habitat. It's fun to make headcanons about all the different kinds.
Still not over a certain mob vote? Friends & Foes adds losing vote mobs! The glares are cute and tameable and the wildfires come with a new structure, but if you ask me, it's only got a spot on this list if you also get the addon Flowery Mooblooms, which allows for moobloom variants with every single flower in the game!
Not enough creatures? Want more? Naturalist is great in the creatures department. You can tame the adorable songbirds (including cardinals and canaries), put a snail in a bucket, ride a giraffe or zebra, and get your ass handed to you by a hippo. Also there's dragonflies.
If you want some super cool weapons, Simply Swords has the coolest fucking weapons. You can craft scythes and battleaxes and stuff, or you can go exploring and find weapons like a fire sword that explodes your opponents, or a poison sword that can convert any positive status effects on your opponent into negative ones, or a purple fire sword with an eye on it that is always watching and can regen you by damaging your enemies, or... you get the picture. It's also got support for Mythic Metals which adds some cool ores.
As for food, Croptopia is good. There's lots of fruit trees, you can make a lot of jam and soup and pie and juice and stuff. There's also Farmer's Delight which I really like, and an addon for the latter called End's Delight that adds more food to the End!
If you're into Origins, I'd say it's not fully complete without Extra Origins alongside it. <- she says without having ever actually chosen any of the origins from it, just thinking they're critical to Modded World Lore bc her first modded server had it and thus including them in her large collection of design headcanons for each origin
Finally, there's the More Axolotl Variants Mod which is exactly what it sounds like. around 10 new axolotl colours, including sculk and glow ones that you can only get through breeding. Little guys <3
Aaaand I think that's covered all the bases for my favourite mods for all the things required for a good modded world: pretty things, cool items, lore and worldbuilding, creatures, food, and the horrors!
