Fluff/Angst seems like too simple an answer, but most of my long stories are Fluff/Angst roller coaster.

According to my most used Modern AU, Highschool AU, Amnesia/Memory Loss, and, of course, Happy Ending

I have 3 Amnesia stories now...

- definitely Bali, it’s one of the places at the top of my bucket list. Greece and Australia are next 😍🛫

- out of the 4 I’d probably say a comedy since I am always laughing 😬

- when I’m making other people happy or when I have a really cute outfit on ✨

When you get a fic idea, do you start with a specific scene or scenario you want to write and build around it, or do you think of a full plot first?

🍑 If you could make a connection between your favorite character and another work you care about (whether a crossover/fusion or a wonderfully “pretentious” literary reference) what would it be? How would it work?

I would write Gyro casually mentioning or reading the Murderbot Diaries, a sci-fi series about a nd-coded, aroace-coded android who is terrible with feelings, antisocial, and snarky as hell. Like a certain chicken. (And yes, I hc Gyro as aroace)

🥭 Rank from most enjoyable/fun to write to least: Fluff, Smut, Angst, Crack.

Angst and fluff are pretty equally at the top for me, maybe with angst in the lead by a smidge. Then crack. And smut is dead last (I don't really like smut).

Oh goddddd. LESTAT. I mean I have been in love-genderenvy with him since I was but a lad of 13. And with the show now I am also incurably in love with Jacob Anderson and his Louis, so Loustat.

Would honestly also love to write abt Loustat but from Daniel’s POV and include his own aches and desires.

Only wrote my lil Loustat pwp here abt Louis finding a dress in Lestat’s wardrobe and trying it on. Would love to write more for them after finishing some of my other million fic wips. 😭

After writing Lavender Sand, I have really struggled to do another GaaHina because I felt like I had already explored the deepest depth of their canon possible relationship there. He pops in here an there as a secondary lead when I need him, but I really wish I could pin him down again.

I wrote Beauty and the Sand Beast as another attempt at a cannon-ish universe, and though it turned out cute, I didn't enjoy writing it as much.

I plan to force out a modern AU that I have been trying to figure out how to write for a long time this year. It's going to be really weird to not have Shukaku in his head. We will see if I can do it.

Also Deidara

Another character who is getting his own story this year, whether I like it or not. I have him as a background side character quite a bit, but his POV just doesn't come as naturally to me as some of the other Akastuski, and I find he is hard to bounce off Hinata's personality because they don't have an easy conflict. Thier both too laid back.

Uuuuuuuuhhhhh. ????

My brain rot doesn't usually work very well with cross-overs.

But I guess you could say that I would love Hinata is just about any supernatural boi K-Drama I've watched, which is why I determined to make a bunch of non-human boi AU's.

Death Wishes (ItaHina) came from my love of shows like Goblin and Doom at Your Service, but I was going more for the trope than the universe.

Honestly I feel like TGM has got it covered!! There's definitely significantly more fics for Jake, Bradley, Bob and Natasha compared to Payback and Fanboy or even Mav I'd say. But they totally still exist. I can't think of any "gaps" in the fandom per say.

🍇 Is there a particular scene/episode/book/etc that you want to just write a million fics about, over and over? Which one?

I answered that here. But another one I think is Rooster's face when he's telling Nat that Mav pulled his papers. I love me a sad boi ngl

I mean has to be Jake for sure. I think my fav HCs about him are that he's always going to be the insanely neat one in the relationship, that he's so incredibly soft with his girl when he wants to be, and obv that he has an enormous d*** lmfao.

(So sorry for the delay in answering this!) Oh, well I have many blorbos! Whom shall I pick?

Umm... let's go with Olberic, because, of course, I love him to bits. One idea about him that comes up a lot in my fics is that I think fatherhood would suit him - which isn't much of a stretch, considering that he already has a surrogate father-son relationship with Philip canonically. And he also gives off major dad vibes with the other party members, and not only because he's the oldest of the group. So that's an aspect of him that I've enjoyed playing with, particularly in The Measure of a Man, where he not only has a child of his own, but rekindles his connection with Philip as the father-figure in his life. Rather convenient that I also get major mom-vibes from H'aanit, and so have been able to explore parenthood within their dynamic with ease. (Fun fact: I don't have kids, so none of this is based on life experience, lol) As for the blueberry question, I have already answered it once, but will choose a different topic and answer it again! So let me just pick another of my many rarepairs to gush about - Lulu and Auron from Final Fantasy X! Those two are so perfect for each other, and it's a damn shame that they have so little canon interaction (I'll just choose to believe that the devs recognized the immense potential for chemistry there, and chose to steer away from it in favor of focusing on the relationship between Yuna and Tidus instead, lol). And one of my favorite things about this pairing in the fandom is the absolute top-notch quality of the fics about them. There aren't many, but what there is? Absolute chef's kiss. We're a small group of authors, but we've got each other's backs when it comes to our OTP ^_^

A few years ago there were so many things, but look at me now — writing Drarry, self-indulgent hurt/comfort, smut, incest smut, Drastoria, and I even have a WIP where Draco calls Goyle "Greg" (though it's for a reason). At this rate in 2024 I'll be writing Regency AU Dramione.
