we finished painting the walls in my room today - well, two of them, the ones that we started yesterday. tomorrow we're going to ikea, and then hopefully we'll finish the one wall in my husband's room, and start the two in my room (they're gonna be a different colour than the first two)

I was putting together a thinking while I have a toy exercise for Forte - intending for him to work on backside jumps with distance for a tug. Forte saw the tug under my arm and the bar jump and decided to offer taking the jump. The problem was that I was still in the middle of setting the bar so he smashed into the side of my face.

Oh well, having a super motivated dog means some times getting behaviors without asking for them. Rip to my left eye though.

i think i found a way to bring up bad buddy in my bachelor thesis, but i'm gonna have to restructure half of my plans

I don't think I ever posted pictures of my tank after I redid it. The plants I had were severely overgrown, so I tore everything out and started fresh. The rocks (which I collected from Lake Michigan) are there partly for hiding space for the shrimp, and partly to reduce the amount of space the plants have to grow in. Guppies like to have a lot of space to swim, and the shrimp mostly eat algae, so I need lots of open space in the tank.

The rocks will look prettier once the shrimp have cleared some of the algae off. I've been letting it grow for them.

#idk if I'll add more to this tank #maybe more guppies #you have to be careful with your bioload because too many fish can kill the whole tank #but it's a 5 gallon tank with a 10 gallon filter so i can definitely add some things #next up is a 10 gallon tall i bought on black friday #but i need to save some money to set it up and also rearrange some things #i have plans for what goes in there already #this is the only thing I've been excited for lately so let me enjoy it lol

Happy Birthday to me - I got myself a van I’m now 42! The answer to the ultimate question of life the universe and everything! I started off the day with reading the final four chapters of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy 'trilogy' and started 'and another thing' which I have been saving for many years for this day! When I turned 21 on may 21st I bought my first van. Now double the years later I bought my second! Got lots of bells and whistles that I am NOT used to. most luxury I had in a vehicle was power windows and locks. Now I got a heated steering wheel and 4 heated seats. It’s not brand new but its the newest thing on wheels that I’ve ever owned.
