Lets know the story behind this photo. Actually my intention was to take capture birds as well as fort but i was thinking of focusing on bird, completely blur the background either of it didn't work out. The second reason behind it was shortage of time i took this photo around 5:30pm,only for a day i was on Jaipur trip so basically i covered the famous places of Jaipur. Lohagad Fort - One of the great historical sightseeing spot. This is one of the many hill forts of The Great Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. 🙏🏻 It is situated 52 kms from Pune in western India at an elevation of 3,450 feet. Lohagad has a long history with several dynasties occupying it at different periods of time: Satavahanas, Chalukyas, Rashtrakutas,Yadavas, Bahamanis, Nizamshahis, Mughals and Marathas. Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj captured it in 1648 CE, but he was forced to surrender it to the Mughals in 1665 CE by the Treaty of Purandar. Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj recaptured the fort in 1670 CE and used it for keeping his treasury. 'A Monsoon Trek To Lohagad Fort Is Exactly What You Need To Do With Your Squad.' दुर्गांचा रत्न असा हा रत्नदुर्ग 👌 . रत्‍नागिरी शहरापासून अवघ्या २-३ कि.मी. वर असणारा रत्‍नदुर्ग हा पर्यटकांसाठी मुख्य आकर्षणाचा विषय आहे तो त्यावरील अत्यंत सुंदर भगवती मंदिरामुळे, येथून दि्सणाऱ्या समुद्राच्या विहंगम दृश्यामुळे आणि समुद्रापर्यंत जाणार्या किल्ल्यातील भुयारी मार्गामुळे. रत्‍नदुर्ग रत्‍नागिरी शहराच्या अत्यंत जवळ असून अरबी समुद्राच्या काठावरील डोंगरावर बांधण्यात आला आहे. किल्ल्याचा आकार घोडाच्या नालासारखा असून क्षेत्रफळ १२० एकर आहे. रत्‍नदुर्ग तीनही बाजूंनी समुद्राने वेढलेला असून याच्या आग्रेय दिशेला जमीन आहे. किल्ल्याच्या पायथ्याशीच मिरकरवाडा हे बंदर आहे. रत्‍नदुर्गाची बांधणी फार पूर्वी बहामनी काळात झाली. १६७० साली शिवाजी महाराजांनी हा किल्ला अदिलशहाकडून जिंकून घेतला. धोंडू भास्कर प्रतिनिधी यांनी १७९० साली किल्ल्याची डागडुजी करून याला अधिक मजबुती आणली. १७५५ मधे रत्नदुर्ग आंग्रें यांच्या ताब्यात होता, तर त्यानंतर तो पेशव्यांच्या अंमलाखाली होता. .
