well, since i have already shared all of my ideas, how about a little snippet of one just for funsies!

“Anetra?”

“Hey,” she half smiled. She wasn’t wearing a coat, not even a jacket, clothed only in a thin long sleeve shirt that did barely anything to keep just a smidge of her body heat. “I know I said last time I’d leave you alone but…” She looked so broken, that fire Sasha had always known gone from her golden brown eyes, instead replaced with a trembling water line barely keeping in the tears.

She didn’t say anything as she pulled the younger woman inside, closing the door quickly and keeping one hand on her. “Kerri honey, Mommy’s going to be upstairs for a little bit, okay?”

The little girl was looking at the two women and nodded hesitantly, her eyes locking on Anetra before heading back to her spot on the couch. Sasha dragged Anetra behind her as she went upstairs quickly. They made it to her bedroom and she sat her down on the soft blankets, the snow covering her body now turning to slush and dripping onto the fabric. She found a sweater off to the side and wrapped it around the smaller girl's shoulders, her hands rubbing over them to get some warmth back into her. Anetra was silent throughout the whole process, fighting back tears and taking in shaky breaths at all of the attention and tenderness. 

“I’m not going to make you talk but if you want to, I’m here to listen.”

Why was she like this? Why did she have to be so damn caring and thoughtful and everything under the sun? How could she be like this to her when she was the one who ruined everything?

If I could be honest, I haven’t seen the season in full, but in no particular order.

1. All of Irene’s screen time

2. “Why weren’t you pregnant tho?” And the ensuing Alexis Michelle-ification of miss loosey laduca

3. Anetra’s talent show.

Honorable mentions include:

- everyone parenting sugar and spice

- last episode’s “who should go home tonight and why”

- mistress’s Beyoncé look and luxx’s commandeering of the Kelly wig.

juliaaa 💕i'm not catched up on the last prompts yet i think but!! for hcs, what about some communication hcs?? how would u say both of them communicate how they're feeling with the other?? like is one more of a need to say stuff verbally or show it through actions type of thing??

so, between the two of them, anetra is totally the worst at communicating fdkj she is always quiet about how she feels. it's hard to know what she's feeling but marcia has come to a point where she can read anetra's body language and does the talking for the both of them

while she struggles at expressing her feelings, she is much better at showing them, be it reaching to hold marcia's hand, backhugging her...

“You’re sure no one’s coming here?

“Yes I’m sure, Blondie.”

“How sure?”

“Marcia, relax.” Irene rolled her eyes. Her hands were on the shorter girls waist. No one was in the halls, all too busy in class unlike the two of them. “I wouldn’t have brought you here if I wasn’t sure would I?” She asked, a small smirk on her face.

Marcia had that look on her face that her head was in a million other places than where she was and Irene chuckled despite herself and kissed her forehead. “You are such a goodie two shoes.”

She pouted, breaking from her concentration and looked up. Her brows inching together in a childish attempt at anger. “I am not.”

“It’s cute, Marcie.” She pressed her lips to the blondes forehead. “Straight A choir girl hiding in the closet with the punk rock bad girl.” Another kiss to her cheek.

“What a scandal.”

Each word punctuated with a kiss on her soft, pale skin before pausing. Marcia’s skin was a blushing shade of pink, spreading from her cheeks to the tips of her ear in a way that made Irene grin knowing she was the one that made her react like this and not that dumb jock that would sling his arm over Marcia’s shoulder with that smug smile.

She leaned down and kissed her lips, smirking as she felt Marcia get on her tip toes to push back against her. Irene pushed back harder, getting the blonde against the wall and inhaling sharply as her hands roamed over her body.

“Rene..” she breathes out, head tilted to the side and strands dyed hair against her neck. “What if-“

She’s cut off by a kiss to her lips. It was different from the ones before, inside of heat behind her lips there’s a warm glow that eased whatever tangled mess was running inside her head.

She sighed and let her eyes flutter close, falling deeper into the sensations and comfort that came from the last person she ever thought she’d ditch her voice lesson for.

athens: favourite greek myth?

I love so so many but I think my favorite is the myth of Icarus. I reference it most and I truly don’t believe it was hubris or stupidity, I really believe the desire to make oneself a god was just a human impulse, and touching the sky brings you closer there. Also for those who love myths, An Autobiography of Red by Anne Carson is a must read.

london: when you visit a city, do you take in the tourist points or the more unknown places?

Answered. But to elaborate or add a story: I used to live in a major city and I absolutely love giving tourists recommendations on what to do and where to eat and I usually hope whenever I go somewhere that someone else will do the same for me, that I can charm them into telling me where to find good local coffee, u know?

🍼- what is your favorite memory?

being able to go in to help with a c-section birth on the second day of my first ever nursing placement 🥹 bubs would be nearly 4.5 now and it's still so fresh in my mind

🎂- if you had 3 wishes, what would they be?

control time, meet all my online besties, have enough money to keep my life comfortable (I don't have to want to worry about affording groceries and rent and bills -- I'm not trying to be a millionaire, but I just want to be able to enjoy life without worrying)

🍃- would you rather live in a sea with mermaids or a forest with fairies?

omg probably the forest? I love the ocean but also the ocean is terrifying, at least if I can fly I can always visit ✨
