Campaign: The Lost Mines of Phandelver campaign I had originally played as Tree in began to spin off into a bigger thing with at least two whole extra campaign books thrown in, and Tree had kind of run her course, so I asked if I could bring in a character of my own creation, and thus, Astra.

Backstory: Astra was a Harper agent who had been installed in a small castle, posing as a courtier to learn its goings on and return information to the Harpers, and ensure that their values are being upheld there.

She was recently reassigned to Phandalin to quietly investigate rumours that the Lords Alliance have seized unwarranted control of the town, and that Order of the Gauntlet agents had also been dispatched there. Her orders were to discover if these other factions intend simply to provide aid the town of Phandalin, as had been suggested, and if so, to assist them as best she could. If however their motives are to use hostility to take Phandalin as their own territory, she is to report back to the Harpers immediately, and co-ordinate their downfall.

#Astra was far and away my most powerful character #in terms of like raw level she made it to 9 which was 5 levels higher than i'd ever gotten a character before #and 4 levels higher than i've gotten one since #but also the build was great and she got more magic items than i think every other character i've played combined #also fit the party dynamic really well #was playing with a fighter/barbarian multiclass and a cleric/ranger multiclass #i think the best show of just how fuckin' undefeatable that trio was was holding a bridge with just 1 NPC cleric helping us out #against a literal army #for like 30 rounds or something #while the army is also getting into boats to cross the river without using the bridge and stuff and we're simultaneously wrecking the boats #it was like well over 100 hobgoblins but also some villain characters with magic and stuff AND a bunch of ogres #she became known as The Wolf Spider once we beat the Black Spider and she took his armour and repainted it #started using villain stuff to try and scare other villains #Also she became a wererat but pretended to be a werewolf #but a were-anything makes you immune to like 90% of damage #gimly #dandy #noticemequannaix

Oh no- I have been sucked into the hole of looking at buying bulk keychains and buttons and sticker sheets-

Would include a sticker sheet, 2 pinback buttons, and a dangling little Poptart keychain!!

At least that would be the main attraction, I am still so going to throw in some other little goodies, etsy style! Maybe some handwritten stuff from me! Maybe some candy!

Might I add,

Buttons would be 1.5 inches, and each one would be different

Keychain would be 3 inches and double sided with different artwork on the front and back

Sticker sheet would be 5x7 inches with just an assortment of all the leos of all sizes! I like tiny stickers :)

Price would be somewhere in the $25-35 range, shipping not included, might only be for the USA.

I have four (only four) photos of the party (a handful of guests around the fire taken well after dark) not counting post party bathroom selfies that might be salvageable and a bunch of photos of my parents' Christmas tree (taken because we aren't doing a tree this year and I got emotional when leaving)

Last night: actual real sleep. Not perfect, but good from 12:30 to 9:00am. (At a pleasant hotel in BFE).

Today: slow solo hike with lots of stops for reference photos and sketching.

Now: chilling with a pastry and a coffee at a park visitor’s center on excellent secluded patio (like a tree house, but with coffee, pastries, ice cream, and various munchies that looks sorta healthy).

Pizza Dough 1 T sugar or honey 1.25 c warm water 2.25 t yeast 1.25 c white flour 2 c whole wheat flour 1 t salt 1/4 c oil

(Makes 2 pizzas; divide in half, roll out, transfer to a surface with corn meal, put pizza toppings on and bake. 425 F for oh twenty minutes I don't know; until the cheese looks brown.)

For rolled bread, use all white flour and roll it all out into one rectangle. Add toppings, roll up lengthwise, bake at 425 for oh half an hour was a bit much. We had:

pesto feta cheese walnuts mushrooms sweet potato

and I steamed some chicken sausage to have with because there's not much protein on the inside (but I don't like having the sausage in the bread).

The sequin fabric for my I-am-determined-to-make-this-happen cosplay arrived the other day, and since I am still up to my eyeballs in handsewing for my Rhaenyra dress, all I did was open the plastic bag the fabric shipped in so I could check the red color against a few other pieces of the costume. Didn’t even take it out of the bag, just unfolded it a tiny bit so I could see the front of the fabric.

And yet somehow there are already sequins all over my house.

why am i crying outside the donut shop

#1. there used to be only one guy in charge of the mini donut place and it was the best fucking place like the donuts were delicious and #so aesthetic and round and poofy and that man had an art degree bc. (ykwim) #like i used to go to the place and just chat with him bc he was the only one and he'd give me extra donuts and he was just so nice #something happened to him and he doesnt work there but now there's a new guy and i went and he was very quiet and younger (still late 30s) #so now he's like the only new guy there i guess #the donuts were terrible #they were like shrively(?) and poorly decorated but it was near close and i could tell he had a bad day and idk they were terrible but the #taste was fine and he seemed genuinely sad and the previous customer got mad at him and he was so tired and why am i crying #2. also today at my own work a lady tried to steal and she tried to walk away with the cart but i like caught up to her bc i was interactin #w/ her before and she's like 'im gonna spray you'' and when i dont back away she says "im gonna call my brother to come r*pe you'' #like uh #and then my coworker intervened but from far and it was a little scary i was def paranoid.
