diluc × gn!reader, fluff, lots of kisses, kaeya jumpscare/j

the sound of kitchen utensils and the sweet aroma of food is what wakes up diluc in the morning. he stretches his body, extending his arms to reach out to touch you and groans when he realizes that you're not with him. reluctantly, he leaves the bed, internally wincing at the way his bones crack as he moves. making his way to the kitchen, he witnesses the sight of you making breakfast in his shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to your elbows. a faint blush spreads across his cheeks when he sees your bare thighs, realizing that you're not wearing anything underneath his shirt. moving closer, he wraps his arms around you from behind and nuzzles his cheek into your shoulder which makes you chuckle immediately. seeing him act clingy was a sight for sore eyes and you always reveled in it.

"morning luc! and here i was hoping i could suprise you with breakfast in bed today..."

you hear no reply from him, instead you feel him burying his face further into your shoulder to leave feather light kisses on the sensitive skin there. the hand which was wrapped around your waist travels inside the shirt to squeeze your hips gently, making you groan softly. growing more concerned about this sudden behavior, you switch off the stove and turn around to meet his gaze cupping his face in your hands. he immediately leans into your touch as one of his hands raises to cover your own and press it closer to his face.

"are you all right luc? you look so troubled, what's wrong?" he shakes his head and gives you a soft smile "nothing's wrong, i... i just want to kiss you that's all... can i, dear?"

giggles escape your lips as you press yourself closer to your adorable boyfriend and prop your chin on his chest. "of course you can luc, you don't even have to ask..."

diluc wastes no time moving closer to press his lips to your own. needing more, he firmly grabs your waist to hoist you onto the couter, parting your legs with his thigh to stand in between them and continues the kiss with more fervour. when both of your lungs grow hungry for air, he pulls away to rest his forehead on yours and softly brushes his nose against your own.

"i love you... i love you so much dearest" your heart can't help but flutter because of those words again, no matter how many times you've heard it from him. leaning forward, you pepper kisses all over his cheek "i love you more luc"

as you both continue to nuzzle against each other, a familiar presence makes its way into the kitchen and the two of you fail to notice it because you're both obviously focused on something else.

"seriously? in the kitchen of all places? tsk tsk..."

you abruptly break away from the kiss to see the cavalry captain standing near the door with his hand on his hip and a rather amused look on his face. realizing the incredibly compromising position you were in, you opt to bury your burning face into diluc's shoulder and let out a soft whine. how did he even get in here? diluc protectively tightens his grip on you to hold you firmly to his chest and shoots kaeya an irritated glare.

"what do you want captain?"

kaeya props his chin on his palm and lets out a dramatic sigh. "oh i just wanted to wish my brother a pleasant birthday and this is the first thing i lay my eyes on!" a shit eating grin then spreads on his face "is this how you normally treat your guests diluc?"

"get out kaeya"

He's not opposed to complicated processes though, and winning your affections is no different

He'll get there by trial and error if he must

Honestly he's not very delusional so much as scheming

His dreams are more of potential plans to get you to fall for him

At this point it's only a matter of picking the most efficient one and putting it into action

Kaveh:

Has more delusions than the Fatui can produce

Somehow both almost as delusional as Childe, and yet the most pessimistic

Absolutely will not let you know how he feels despite fantasising about you almost all the time

All of his pining is done behind your back

Or so he says because it absolutely isn't and Alhaitham's sick of hearing Kaveh talk to himself about whether it's possible for you to reciprocate

He's honestly just too scared to do anything because at least he can delude himself into believing he has a chance this way

Can't reject him if he never asks you fr

It definitely slips out when he gets drunk though, and then he'll deny it to hell and back once he's sober

Unless you nudge him and hint that you want him too in which case all bets are off

Hii just wanted to let some thoughts out

Being on Tumblr and writing, working, studying, socialising, focusing on moving out and getting a job, and balancing every part of my life is very hard for me

So i feel like deleting Tumblr will get rid of most of the problems, but i will miss every single friend i have made on this platform, and i wanted to thank all the people i have met, been friends with, and followed me thru it all, followed my writing career and everything else the biggest thank you, i am very very grateful for your presence, support, blessings and all the funny and stupid moments we've had together.

You all hold a special place in my heart and i will never forget it.

But Tumblr has kind of degraded my social skills and made me kind of lazy, even awkward.

I don't want to have other social media due to almost every single one of them making me insecure or degrade some part of my skill.

I have wanted to focus more on my in real life and get a better connection with my irl friends because even they said they feel like I'm just ignoring them and being on my phone too much. And getting a better connection with my family, especially with my parents, are the most important things for me.

And again, i thank everyone who has supported me, made me laugh, made me feel happy when i was sad, made me feel secure, made me feel confident, made me feel comfortable and everything
