Oooh I want to know what video games you've assigned to everyone!

In terms of what they would play...

Roxy of course has Mario Kart, then Forza, Sonic and a lil bit of Pokemon and Street Fighter. She loves DS games in particular so she'll give basically any of them a try. Doesn't like games like Nintendogs though. They make her uncomfy :(

Monty likes Tony Hawks Pro Skater, Minecraft, Street Fight and things like City Skylines and Cooking Mama. Also possibly a fishing sim or Stardew Valley.

Chica plays a lot of Hitman, a few dating sims (I don't know any so take this with a grain of salt), Doom, Mario Party and a bit of Terraria. Mostly Hitman though. Don't ask her to play Guitar Hero. She hates it with a burning passion.

Freddy likes the Star Wars games, Skylanders, Night in the Woods, Starfox... honestly if it has a space theme he'll play it he's not exactly picky. Also maybe Kingdom Hearts?

Bonnie plays dance games and a lil Terraria. And anything he can beat Roxy and Monty's ass in. He also seems the type to play the Sims and wait to see how long it takes them to die.

Foxy plays Sea of Thieves, Disney Infinity, Skylanders, Spyro the Dragon, and Lucky Luke. Also Minecraft and he'll give anything older than he is a go. Dragon Quest, Ni No Kuni, basically any fantasy based RPG are also games he'd play.

Sunny plays Minecraft, City Skylines, that one you build roller coasters in I forgot the name of, Disney Infinity and every party game ever. Oh and of course pet games like Nintendogs and games like the Sims.

Moon likes Hitman but not nearly as much as Chica, Minecraft, simulator games like Farming Simulator, Terraria, Nintendogs and Pokemon. Oh and he helps Bonnie kill people in the Sims. And the Untitled Goose Game.

DJ Music Man could play dancing games, Forza, Guitar Hero, Rhythm Haven, and would have a blast with that one where you play trombone that I've also forgotten the name of.

Vanessa plays Animal Crossing and Sonic. She's everyone's plug for games that aren't Fazbear themed so she mostly just picks up whatever she has while the others keep themselves entertained with the games she gives them

[Not Your Fault Part 2]

Vanessa couldn't remember how long she had been sitting in this chair, with her head in her hands. Her fingers were coated in her dried up tears, new ones still flowing as time went on. Her heart had been beating rapidly for the past hour now, her mind was muddled unsure of what to do next.

Sitting in this hospital room was torture, she had been given space to be with you alone.

"I'm sorry, Y/N," she whispered with a choked sob.

Of course you had succumbed to your wounds, the flatline still rang loud inside of Vanessa's head - she was at least thankful she was there for you when you passed. You had slipped unconscious back at the pizzeria a few days ago and hadn't woken up since, the blonde had prayed you would so she could tell you how she felt.

Mike was here a couple hours before you slipped away, Vanessa had shot him a quick message to let him know. The apologies he offered flooded through quickly, he had asked if Vanessa wanted him there for but comfort but she flat out refused. He didn't push further and left her alone, he went to sit in his kitchen and mourn in his own way. He saw you as a close friend after all, he'd be lying if he didn't have some sort of crush on you.

Vanessa's throat was dry after the sheer amount of sobs and tears that had left her, she felt the dehydration set in a while ago but her body refused to move.

She would never forgive her father for what he had done. For years he had gotten away with the monstrous things he had done, her own fear stopped her from speaking up. That's why she became a cop, to protect others and save others... hopefully to make up for the crimes she had been helping her father hide.

Sometimes she hated having Afton blood flowing through her veins.

Her thoughts drifted towards her father's fate, the one he truly deserved. Those poor children trapped within the animatronics forever. But at least they got their revenge, trapping William Afton with them for all eternity. She was sure they would torture his soul, they may be kids but they weren't afraid to take him down and make him pay for what he had done.

Trapped in that suit forever. Vanessa couldn't help but laugh.

She finally snapped her head up to look at you lying in the hospital bed. A fresh wave of tears formed in her eyes as she stood up and moved towards the door. She glanced back at you before reaching into her back pocket, her fingers finally landed on her police badge that she carried with her at all times.

She brought it up to her face and ran her fingers along it. Too many thoughts were in her head right now, she didn't know which one to listen to.

The power of her status as a cop was about to help her out. She decided to follow her heart, instead of a brain. That my have been a bad idea on her part, though.

The long black bag was placed on the hard floor. Vanessa was running on pure adrenaline as she moved further into the storage room.

She had used her police status to convince to hospital staff that your body was needed for a criminal investigation. Was it highly illegal? Yes. Did she care? Not really.

Getting the body bag into her cop car had been a struggle at first, but she had finally made it back to the pizzeria within the next couple of hours. The place was pretty much destroyed on the inside, the outside still remained intact. She was extremely worried about running into her father again, but she was willing to risk it. For you.

Her eyes landed on the thing she had been looking for, a sinister smile crept onto her face as she moved closer.

She dragged the huge item back towards the body bag on the other side of the storage room.

"I'll help you, Y/N," Vanessa promised, "I can put you back together."

It was a suit. An animatronic suit. A dark purple and black rabbit suit.

Unzipping the bag caused her fingers to shake, she was not prepared to see you again in such a cold state. But she had to push through, she had to do this. She had to.

She successfully separated the pieces of the animatronic suit, her hands flinched away from you briefly before she took a deep breath and decided to just get it over with. She couldn't waste anymore time, she didn't know how much she had left.

Your legs were stuffed into the animatronic first, then Vanessa placed the body part on top of you - making sure your arms were secured properly. Some of the springlocks inside the suit had been set off, causing even more damage to your body. Vanessa tried her hardest to not let the view affect her.

She licked her dry lips before leaning forward to kiss you on the forehead. A tear slipped down her cheek at the feeling of your cool skin.

"You'll be okay, Y/N. We'll be okay."

Then she finally placed rabbit mask over your head.

She stood up and looked down at her work. The purple animatronic lay motionless on the floor, sitting up against the wall. Vanessa tried to control her breathing as she waited.

"Come on... Come on..." she pleaded. Her mind was telling her this was so wrong, but her heart would not listen.

She waited for a couple minutes. She looked down in defeat, ready to scream about how this was so unfair. But that's when she saw it. She saw a single finger of the suit twitch ever so slightly.

A gasp escaped her as she stepped closer, "Y/N?"

The dark hollow eyes of the animatronic soon came to life, a singular white dot in each glowing bright.

The fact that it had worked was a complete shock to her.

A slight twinge of fear flowed throughout her as she continued to watch the rabbit move on the floor, each twitch becoming more noticeable...

You wiggled your fingers, not really grasping what was going on right now. You started to panic, wanting to shout out... But your voice refused to work. You looked around as best you could before deciding to rise to your feet.

"Y/N..." Vanessa.

You turned to see the blonde, who was much shorter than you remember? You soon realised that in fact you were the one who was much taller than usual.

"Is... Is that really you?" she said, her voice shaking, "Come on, give me a sign."

This wasn't happening. This couldn't be happening.

You reached forward to grab Vanessa, wanting to demand what she had done. WHY HAD SHE DONE THIS?

But nothing. No voice.

All the blonde did in response to you grabbing her was pull you into a hug as best she could, her small arms wrapped around the large animatronic suit.

"I told you we'd be okay. I'm so happy you're here, Y/N. We'll figure this out together."

You wanted to cry, wanted to scream, wanted to ask why.

Your(?) arms started to move instinctively and pulled the woman tighter into the hug.

Vanessa couldn't help but cry, the happiest of tears flowing down her cheeks at the miracle she had created.

Sometimes she loved having Afton blood flowing through her veins.

If only Vanessa could hear how you were screaming inside your own head. Surely a peaceful death was much better than spending an eternity trapped in a suit.

If anyone’s curious, I know I’ve made some security breach memes on here, and some short anaylsis posts. But I’m working on two fanfics right now!

The first one is called Sunset Trails! It’s set in the canon ending timeline, and follows the events of Glamrock Freddy and Gregory, they find a place to live for awhile. It starts out as fluff, but a plot will becoming along as the chapters progress!

The second one is Rockstar. It follows the tale of Maria Myers. She’s goes to the Pizzaplex for two reasons. 1. it was her cousin’s birthday, 2. to do some investing of the disappearance of the missing children. Getting stuck where the trash is, and falling some more, she stumbled upon Glamrock Bonnie. Together, they journey through the maze of decommissioned sets and themes, and discover what Vanny and Burntrap are cooking up.

Sunset Trail is already being worked on, but some of it will be on hold because I’m in the process of moving out.

Also Sunset Trails will have a lot of comfort/hurt. Rockstar is gonna have a lot of ANGST, but like, comfort as well lmao

MY DISSERTAION ON SECURITY BREACH (MAJOR SPOILERS!!!)

THREE FUKCING YEARS.

So mostly, everyone knows about the technical issues and the gameplay, so I’m not going to be talking about that. I’ll be talking about the characterization and story only here.

Skeletrap is canon and he was so fucking cool and hot and i loved that. I know he didn’t speak and it was short but that was the biggest highlight of the game for me. possibly the best incarnation of william in the entire franchise so far (at least design-wise), I got fuckin giddy.

Moondrop/Sunrise was the best original character from this game, he was cute and fresh and I wish him success in becoming a Popular Sexyman.

Roxy was great, aside from her nose being too small and ALWAYS looking like a fucking cat in the artwork, loved her voice and personality. I just hope she isn’t possessed by anyone like let the robots be their own people god damn

Chica was cute, not as deep personality wise as roxy but she was cute.

Monty- why the hell did it feel like he was barely in the game??? that’s no way to treat a new character. I was very excited for him as a scalie but he barely does anything.

Freddy - So, I really really love the idea of one of the animatronics being nice and helping you, and what small amounts of personality were there were... good?? but he seemed very plain. There should have been more up-close moments with more detailed dialogue, not just plot-moving stuff or “go here and get this” sorta instructions. Wish he woulda talked more about himself, what it’s like being an animatronic, the other animatronics, he should have had more curiosity about what was going on, what gregory’s intentions were, why he was acting the way he did and the others didn’t, also he should have gotten suspicious after gregory upgraded him with his friends’ parts the second time and not just let it go. Why would he suddenly side with this unknown kid over his own kind? Also - him just straight up murdering Vanny in a couple (?) of the endings was very strange considering his previous characterization???? Even if she was murdering people, I would have thought he’d be more of a “catch her and send her to jail” kinda person or something. Weird ass flip of character there. Also, the whole robots are possessed by human spirits thing sucks. I know it’s been a thing since FNAF 1, but it’s really boring to me. I want the robots to just be themselves if we’re going to the trouble of giving them so much personality. But who knows, there’s a billion theories on how that works. 

Gregory - much less endearing in the game. Just because he’s a kid and the vulnerable protagonist, I’m supposed to automatically like him? He didn’t really do much to earn my respect. He brutally steals parts from the animatronics after Freddy expressly told him he didn’t want him to do that, then lies to Freddy about it. You could say “well you have to do that in order to escape” but that doesn’t make sense from a story perspective. IDK, if there is a way to win the game without hurting chica, roxy or monty, someone tell me because that shit was unnecessarily brutal and not very heroic. Also him murdering Vanny in one of the ending was fucking weird too. “but she was about to get him!!” like ok was there only one button on that thing that only makes the robots kill things??? there was no other controls to just have the robots hold her there or soemthing??? she was like “NO STOP” he could have stopped the robots presumably but no?? idfk weird. seems pretty fucked up for a kid to do. I really love stories of kids and robots becoming friends or the robot becoming the kid’s guardian but there was just something off about Gregory and Freddy’s relationship. It’s just not explained or set up well and idk I just didn’t Feel It, but I’m all for that concept

Vanessa/Vanny: none of that shit makes sense. They literally have different voice actors, and that one scene where the monitor immediately flips from vaness to vanny SHOWING that she didn’t put the mask on really sold me on the idea of them being different people, plus the fact that their names would have made it too obvious so I was sure it was a red herring but NOPE. I still can’t wrap my head around it and her being just a puppet to William is still shit writing. It’s like every possible worst case scenario for this character that we thought up came true LMAO. bullshit and fucked up. The few times where Vanny actually did chase you was fun, but the fun is kinda sapped when you know it’s not actually vanny but william. In any other scenario, I would LOVE to face william, that’d be so neat and cool, even if it was a possession kinda thing like this, but the fact that this is the ONLY human female character we really interact with and we were really hoping for a new, autonomous villain (and a girl one at that) really ruins it. I’m not sure what the point was to give her this double identity thing when it was in our faces the whole time and was way too obvious it woudln’t have been a twist or a suprise. Also if she really is related to William, that’s the most predictable and lame ass thing like is EVERYONE related to William? how much has this guy fucked??? how many secret children does he have??? it’s fucking stupid and I’m sick of the family drama stuff. Would like some new people and new villians like god. It wouldn’t be so bad if his family wasn’t everywhere and in every game but like this is annoying as hell. Also, you cannot retroactively judge and shame shippers. There was no real evidence for this until now (even then mIGHT BE A COINCIDENCE) so like, don’t think you’re going to act smart and be like “SEEE1!!!!! I TOLD YOU THEY WERE RELATED” Like we had ANY way of knowing back then. And no, her last name starting with “A” is not fucking evidence. Could have easily been a red herring, something to mislead people but I guess Cawthon really is just writing that bluntly and carelessly and I was giving him too much credit. BUT WHATEVER

So yeah, sure, maybe it was our faults for coming up with our own ideas and aus and ships over the last 3 years, but you can’t blame people for doing that when that’s literally the basis of the fnaf fandom, especially after it being so long. People don’t like FNAF just for the games, a huge chunk of it is the fandom and fan au’s because the canon story has no real meat or characterization. Can you really blame us for expecting a bit better storywriting from someone who’s had total creative control over this franchise for 7 years now? But that never really mattered to me. The fun I had with other fans, other people’s au’s and my own au were always the thing that kept me in this fandom. Maybe the Good Writing was never in the games or books or canon itself, maybe the Good Writing was the friends we made along the way.

GOING FORWARD- I’m keeping my AU, in fact this gives me motivation to actually work on it again. I’m keeping my Vanny, Skeletrap, Hairy, and my own versions of the glamrocks. I don’t necessarily ship my vanny and skeletrap, but they’re definitely not related and my Vanny is worlds away from Canon Vanny, but more details will come later.  Anyway yeah hoo boy
