FlippinDingDong's Robotnik and Gex animations are proof that we have the technology to potentially gaslight unsuspecting people into thinking there's more undiscovered media of their favorite series and I feel this is an untapped market.

See on one hand I agree. Using memes to shit on things is super common. There was that Squidward getting talked down by a customer meme that was just ranting. Wasn't even funny

On the other hand with Foghorn he's already noted to be a loud obnoxious blabbermouth with questionable opinions. There I feel it's case by case

My favs are him shit talking Vegeta, being confused about Sailor Moon not really being a sailor then ranting (with the fucking poor master pink tint for accuracy, @FlippinDingDong), and fucking being silent while glaring at Asuka in the elevator scene (@yugiohtas)

I think the other thing is Foghorn isn't really seen much from WB themselves the past 10 years. Space Jam 2 he's only speaking for less than a minute in the movie for all appearances, most LTC shorts don't feature him. So people jumped on cuz it's been a while, and he's not restricted to the same schtick of feuding with the dog, or Henry chickenhawk

I guess. I just find it a bit ehh in general, nevermind how many people have seen Foghorn Leghorn for how long. I'm just not into using a meme as a disguise for complaining.

I’ve been wanting to make one of these posts for awhile, since people usually ask me for reccommendations on what to watch. I'll try to explain why they appeal to me personally as well as what they usually show. I'll also be limiting myself mostly to smaller channels, since the big ones are already pretty well known or are easy to find on youtube already.

Video games

I originally started watching MATN because someone told me that he was doing a run of Fallout New Vegas without healing. I was intrigued, and binge watched the whole playthrough over the next couple of days. He plays games at a high skill level, and his commentary mostly revolves around explaining mechanics or what he's going to do next. He also plays stealth, strategy, and management style games often and usually also at a high skill level. I'm currently having a blast with his Rome: Total War playthrough.

A rare example of someone who showcases mods for games. In his Special Features series, he highlights game mods (Mostly for Mount & Blade Warband) and shows them, warts and all. Sometimes hilarious, usually amusing. He'll often say he's not that good at the game, but he's just being modest. Also plays a lot of Indie games, which has been useful in me learning about lesser-known titles in the RPG, action, and management genres.

A historian discusses African history, an oft-overlooked and undertaught field. Will be complete with artists renditions of people, or photos of artifacts in many cases.

Gundog and Kiwidude stick more to more modern rations, and usually eat what’s inside, while Steve1989 usually gets very old, historical rations that are no longer edible
