Finally finished my fade. This fucking monstrosity took me forever! It’s a beautiful pattern but I think it took me like 8 months to knit, it’s huge! I think here was a good month or so where I needed to take a break tho. I tend to get tired of things when they start to take too long, then at the end I get really anxious and just want it to be over. My next few knitting projects, I think I’ll stick to quick knits...

It came out well. The coloration was a little too striped for my taste. I wish I had chosen more speckled yarns. I think I used a yarn kit from neighborhood fiber co. Maybe I should fact check that, but pretty certain it was. So long ago I can’t remember 🤣

I’m going to give this to my mom for Xmas. I think she’ll like it because it’s really big and blankety...

I haven’t worked on my #findyourfadeshawl since spring. Though, I must have over the summer for a short time since the last picture I took on here didn’t show a color that’s on there now. This was my first big knitting project and I kept stepping away due to frustrations of mistakes here and there I would make. But, in the past couple months, I’ve learned to accept mistakes and regardless, this will be a beautiful shawl. I only have 2 more colors to work.
